bitchy | Andrew Windsor will receive a lump-sum six-figure payment & a private annuity

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Last Friday, I did the math on Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s “settlement” with King Charles, and by my calculations, Andrew is walking away with SO MUCH. My guess, last week, was that Andrew likely got a lump-sum payment to relinquish his lease on Royal Lodge, probably millions of dollars/pounds. He’s also getting: a rent-free home for life on the Sandringham estate; enough funding to ensure that he has household staff; security paid for by the crown; annual income, paid by Charles; protection from prosecution; and finally, the ability and freedom to travel, especially to the Middle East. But the most valuable thing Charles got in return, it seems, is the freedom to brief the media about how Andrew isn’t really getting that much. According to new reporting, Andrew is only receiving one six-figure lump-sum payment, plus a generous “annuity.”

The former Duke of York is in line to receive a large one-off payment and an annual stipend designed to prevent him overspending in his new life as a commoner, the Guardian understands.

One option for a relocation settlement, as the king strives for a “once and for all” solution to the problem of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, includes an initial six-figure sum to cover his move from Royal Lodge in Windsor to private accommodation in Sandringham, Norfolk.

This would be followed by an annuity, paid from Charles’s private funds, and thought to be several times Mountbatten Windsor’s £20k-a-year navy pension, sources close to the matter said. Talks on the relocation package are believed to be ongoing.

Now stripped of his titles including prince and HRH, Mountbatten Windsor was struck from the official roll of the peerage just hours after Buckingham Palace announced the formal process had been initiated.

[From The Guardian]

Here’s the thing: while I could totally see Charles relishing having this kind of financial control over Andrew, I just think that the reporting on this situation is incomplete. Andrew is getting everything the Guardian describes… and more. Andrew held the upper hand in his negotiations with Charles, and one of the biggest issues was Andrew’s lease on Royal Lodge. While Charles/BP has made a big deal about serving Andrew with eviction papers, that’s all for show if you read the fine print – Andrew can only be “evicted” if he agrees to leave, and he would only agree to leave for a significant amount of cash. That’s what he’s been saying for years, Charles just refused to listen until now.

Currently, the Evening Standard points out that Andrew will be denied his “half a million pound compensation for giving up his lease on Royal Lodge.” Meaning, the Crown Estates will not pay the compensation. Because I’m almost positive that Andrew and Charles struck an off-the-books deal about Royal Lodge. The lack of Crown Estates compensation makes much more sense if you understand that Andrew is getting a different kind of settlement from Charles from his Duchy of Lancaster slumlord funds.

bitchy | What kind of ‘payoff’ did King Charles have to give Andrew Mountbatten Windsor?

by jummy84 November 2, 2025
written by jummy84

King Charles’s communications office has given multiple briefings to the royal rota in the past 24 hours about the “Andrew Mountbatten Windsor” situation. According to the official rota, the degenerate formerly known as Prince Andrew is being punished severely by his brother King Charles. “The move” to strip Andrew of all titles and force him out of Royal Lodge was “entirely down to the King and his advisors, without pressure from the Government or other family members, such as Prince William.” Becky English was seemingly the first to report, in the Daily Mail, that while Andrew is being moved into a home on the Sandringham Estate, it won’t be Wood Farm, which was where Prince Philip retired to in his final years.

English also noted this: “Sources said it has been necessary, given how swiftly events were unfolding, to focus on getting proper security in place. In an act of mercy, the King will fund the move privately and, as Andrew remains a member of the family, Charles will also make ‘private provisions’ for him.” So… Charles is ensuring Andrew’s security, paying for Andrew to live rent-free in Norfolk, and Andrew will also get “private provisions.” What the rota doesn’t want to talk about (yet) is what kind of financial settlement was made. Well, Tom Sykes got a big tip for his Royalist Substack about what kind of money was involved.

In the end, King Charles didn’t have any choice. He had to give his brother, what he has long been asking for. For I am told that ex-Prince Andrew has received a “handsome” payoff worth millions in return for surrendering his lease on Royal Lodge.

On Thursday, Andrew was stripped of his princely titles in a humiliating manner. He will now be known as Mr Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, following new revelations about his links to Jeffrey Epstein and the publication of Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre’s memoir. However, critics immediately said it was not an adequate response.

Graham Smith of the anti-monarchy campaign group Republic told The Royalist podcast (and fulsome apologies that it did not stream concurrently here): “The problem is the royals keep thinking this is enough. I couldn’t care less about the prince title. He remains accused of serious offenses and I do not believe that there is not enough evidence to have a genuine police investigation. Worrying about what he is called, or where he lives, is not an appropriate response.”

Royal aides said that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor “did not object” to the removal of his titles. Friends of Mr Mountbatten Windsor told the Daily Beast that Andrew had reached a generous financial settlement with King Charles as part of the deal, which will see him move to a private home on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk as soon as is practicable. He is understood not to be moving to Wood Farm, the retirement home of the late Prince Philip.

One friend said, “Andrew made it clear that he needed to be financially recompensed for surrendering the remaining 50 years of his lease on one of England’s finest homes. The lease was his daughter’s inheritance and an asset, and in this country, you can’t seize people’s assets. Charles was always going to have to pay him off, and he has done what he should have done in the first place.”

Another friend of both Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew told the Daily Beast, “The pension is handsome.”

Buckingham Palace declined to comment; however, in official documentation seen by The Royalist, the palace admitted that not only would Andrew be given a home on the Sandringham estate funded by the king, but that he would also receive direct funding in the form of “appropriate private provision.” The palace also suggested that he would be allowed to continue earning money privately.

[From The Royalist Substack]

While Sykes calculates that Charles “settled” with Andrew for low-to-mid seven figures, I think Andrew would be a fool to take anything lower than $10 million or thereabouts. Andrew had Charles over a barrel, and Charles had to pay more because Charles had let this situation fester for so long, and Charles had completely misread the public mood. In exchange for his titles and the Royal Lodge lease, Andrew got: a generous payoff worth millions; a permanent home on the Windsors’ private estate in Norfolk; some kind of income for general upkeep; security for life, funded by the monarch; the ability to travel freely to the Middle East and make sketchy “deals” there; protection from any larger investigation and prosecution. Andrew made out like a bandit, and I’m waiting to see if there will be another backlash to this “deal.”

‘SNL’ Weekend Update Jokes About Louvre Heist, Prince Andrew Losing Title

by jummy84 November 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Bowen Yang appeared as former U.S. Congressman George Santos during “Weekend Update” on “Saturday Night Live,” where he spoke with co-host Colin Jost about what he’s been up to following his prison release.

During the segment, Jost referenced the upcoming New York City marathon happening before reluctantly introducing Santos as “the world’s number one marathoner.”

“Can you believe I just finished the marathon?” Yang’s Santos said, to which Jost replied, “The marathon is tomorrow.”

“Yeah, well, it’s a record. I already won!” Yang’s Santos said.

In October, President Donald Trump commuted the prison sentence of Santos, who had been sentenced to over seven years for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. Since his release, the disgraced ex-politician has embarked on a media comeback tour.

“I’m going on all these shows to tell the truth about what it’s like in prison,” Yang said as Santos.

“Well, wasn’t your prison only, like, minimum security?” Jost asked.

“That’s right, I was in jail with other white-collar criminals — even though I’m Black,” Yang’s Santos said.

“You’re not Black,” Jost told him.

“Are you accusing me of lying about my race, like Rachel Dolezal, that horrible woman who lied about being Black? Remember her?” Yang’s Santos asked. “‘Cause that was me.”

Later during their conversation, Yang’s Santos said that he’s rich now because he “just took a trip to the Louvre.” He then unzipped his top to reveal a large necklace.

“Did you steal that?” Jost asked.

“Stole it back, you mean,” Yang’s Santos replied. “Because it belonged to my ancestors — the Zales.”

Elsewhere during the “Weekend Update” segment, co-host Michael Che mentioned that King Charles had stripped his brother, Prince Andrew, of his royal title due to his connections to convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

“Prince Andrew has been stripped of his royal title of ‘Prince’ due to his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, and Andrew says he can only become a prince again if he gets a kiss from a young princess,” Che joked.

The latest “Weekend Update” also poked fun at Trump’s White House bathroom model, Texas suing Tylenol over an alleged link to autism, and Japan’s new prime minister, Sanae Takaichi, announcing that she is nominating Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Responding to Takaichi’s nomination, Che quipped, “I can’t believe I get to say this, but thank God nobody listens to women.”

Why Is Prince Andrew Being Stripped of His Title? What He Did – Hollywood Life

Prince Andrew will no longer be called a prince. Buckingham Palace announced that he had been stripped of his royal title on October 31, 2025, leaving those unfamiliar with his Jeffrey Epstein-related accusations asking the same question: What did Andrew do to lose his royal title?

“Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement released that day, per CNN. “His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”

The palace – home to King Charles III and Queen Camilla — added, “These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”

Below, learn what Prince Andrew did to lose his royal title.

Why Was Prince Andrew Stripped of His Title?

Buckingham Palace only said in its statement that Andrew was stripped of his title because it was “deemed necessary” and pointed out that he “continues to deny the allegations against him.”

The likely reason behind the palace’s choice is due to the sexual abuse accusations against Andrew by the late Virginia Giuffre and his connection to deceased sex offender Epstein.

What Did Prince Andrew Do?

Giuffre accused now-former Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, claiming that she was sex trafficked to him by Epstein when she was 17. Giuffre further claimed that Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, forced her to have sex with Andrew on multiple occasions from 2001 to 2002.

Andrew has denied all of Giuffre’s accusations and claimed he never met Giuffre, despite a resurfaced photo of them together. Giuffre died by suicide on April 25, 2025.

Andrew also claimed he wasn’t aware of Epstein’s sex trafficking ring but confessed to staying at Epstein’s properties and maintaining contact with him even through his 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor.

In 2021, Giuffre filed a civil lawsuit, accusing him of sexual assault and infliction of emotional distress. The case was settled out of court in 2022 and ended any legal proceedings between the two parties. Nevertheless, the allegations against Andrew and his connection to Epstein resulted in his gradual disappearance from royal duties and public appearances.

After Buckingham Palace stripped Andrew of his royal title, Giuffre’s family released a statement, which read, “Today, an ordinary American girl, from an ordinary American family, brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage.”

Is Prince Andrew Married?

No, Andrew is no longer married to his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. The two tied the knot in 1986 and divorced a decade later.

Does Prince Andrew Have Children?

Yes, Andrew is a father to two daughters, both of whom he shared with his former wife: Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

If you or anyone you know has been sexually abused, call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673). A trained staff member will provide confidential, judgment-free support as well as local resources to assist in healing, recovering and more.

If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or considering suicide, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

bitchy | Prince Andrew will be stripped of all titles & become Andrew Mountbatten Windsor

I was *just* sitting here thinking about how extraordinarily weird it is that there’s been no movement on getting Prince Andrew out of Royal Lodge. Note: Andrew should face criminal investigation and prosecution for his many crimes, but as far as King Charles is concerned, it was simply odd that Andrew was still somehow in possession of Royal Lodge and his prince title and everything else, really. Well, the dithering days are over and Charles finally did it.

Prince Andrew will be stripped of all his royal titles and will leave Royal Lodge, Buckingham Palace has said. He will no longer be known as Prince Andrew and will instead be called Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

In a statement, the Palace said: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.

“These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”

“Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”

[From The Telegraph]

Good. It’s not enough, not near enough, but this is good. It should have happened years ago, but Queen Elizabeth II refused to do it, and then Charles launched a “bring Andy in from the cold” operation as some kind of screw-you to Harry. So here we are – a day late and a dollar short, but hey, it’s something. I certainly hope that Andrew’s new accommodation will not be Frogmore Cottage. That simply makes zero sense to do all of this and just shuffle him off to a renovated five-bedroom cottage just outside Windsor Castle. Update: The BBC reports that Charles is sending Andrew to Norfolk, meaning it’s more than likely Andrew (and Fergie?) will live at Wood Farm, on the Sandringham Estate. That’s privately owned by Charles, so Charles will fund Andrew’s life/home there.

Incidentally, a few hours ago, Tom Sykes reported exclusively on his Royalist Substack that “the only way Prince Andrew will leave Royal Lodge is if he’s paid ‘fairly,’ in the region of ‘a couple of million.’” It will be interesting to see if anything comes out about this in the coming hours and days, because it’s been perfectly clear (to me) that Andrew would willingly give up a lot if Charles simply paid him off. I could see an off-the-books quid pro quo happening here – Charles gets to look big and tough and like he hasn’t spent the entire month dithering endlessly, and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor walks away with a seven-figure or even eight-figure settlement from the Duchy of Lancaster funds.

Over the past five years or so, there’s been a consistent move to give the Princess of Wales “credit” for all kinds of things. There was a months-long storyline in 2021 about Kate acting as the linchpin of the family, and the keen peacemaker between Prince Harry and Prince William. That narrative fell apart, not least of which because William clearly disregards Kate and her opinions and always has. There are consistent storylines about “Kate wants this or that” regarding the Sussexes and none of it ever pans out. Well, now they’re trying to say that Kate is pulling strings behind-the-scenes on the fiasco involving Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. Nevermind that everything that’s happened in the past two weeks is “Classic Dithering Charles.” Why anyone wants to give Kate “credit” for this unfolding catastrophe is beyond me, but the Daily Mail’s Liz Jones insists that Icy Kate is behind it all.

Prince Andrew is rumoured to have agreed to call in the removal men, vacate the 30-room, 98-acre Royal Lodge, and relocate himself and his teddies to Frogmore Cottage – formerly the home of Harry and Meghan, where the yoga studio is still in situ, providing a place where he can continue to tie himself in knots. He wants his ex-wife, Sarah, to have nearby Adelaide Cottage – he’s after a two-for-one, clearly, though doubtless has never been inside Tesco – which is soon to be vacated by William, Kate and their children.

In this regal version of Relocation, Relocation, the Waleses are off to Forest Lodge. Billed as their ‘forever home’ it is just a short trot along a tree-lined avenue from… Royal Lodge. It’s little wonder then that William is rumoured to be the driving force behind Andrew’s exit. He’s supposedly determined to ensure his ‘beyond hideous’ uncle – as TV’s Emily Maitlis says the Prince of Wales regards Andrew – will not be his new nightmare neighbour.

But let’s not forget Kate, another instrumental player in the lodge-off. She isn’t a blood relative of her husband’s creepy uncle. Her life’s work is to protect children. And apparently, she ‘shudders at the thought of living so close to Royal Lodge’. She doesn’t see this as just a scandal that threatens the Monarchy and therefore her offspring’s secure future, but as one that has already ruined the lives of scores of young women.

The way in which Andrew signed off his emails to Jeffrey Epstein – with ‘A, HRH, the Duke of York, KG’ – would alone make Kate shudder. She wears her titles lightly, can shrug them off like a too-heavy coat when kneeling to comfort children, or those suffering from cancer. She no longer wants to rub padded shoulders with a man who spent time with an already convicted paedophile or his ex-wife, a woman who sent that paedophile toe-curlingly cringy emails, calling him her ‘supreme friend’.

There is no doubt Kate will have strong views on this unfolding royal fiasco. She knows her power. Look at how swiftly, unflinchingly she saw off Meghan. Remember that icy stare when the formerly Fab Four did a walkabout before Queen Elizabeth’s funeral? She is like a lioness, protecting her territory. And anyone who can come through cancer is not to be messed with Cancer survivors are the strongest people you will ever meet.

Charles has been slow to grasp the Andrew question. William has been, too. But like any mother of three children, Kate just wants it done. Today. To roll up her sleeves and clean the house, in more ways than one. As the only jewel left shining brightly in the Crown, what Kate wants, Kate gets.

[From The Daily Mail]

Well, at least they’re not pretending that Kate is just a dishrag with no opinions on anything. It’s true that Kate has an “icy stare” and, in my opinion, it’s true that Kate is a raging B. It’s not true that “what Kate wants, Kate gets.” Kate did not want to be sent to a four-bedroom cottage in Windsor for over three years. Kate does not want to send her kids to boarding schools (but that’s what will happen). Kate does not want to work… and they’re letting her get away with that. It’s interesting that Kate is getting “credit” for “seeing off Meghan” too, right? It’s almost an admission that Kate bullied the f–k out of her sister-in-law. Baby Brain strikes again!

Prince Andrew reportedly spends his days playing ‘Call Of Day’

by jummy84 October 30, 2025

Prince Andrew allegedly now spends his days playing Call Of Duty after giving up his royal titles earlier this month.

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles The Third, stepped back from being a working royal in 2019 after he was accused of sexual assault and having a close relationship with billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew “vigorously denies” the allegations, but earlier this month gave up his royal titles including Duke Of York. “In discussion with the King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” he said in a statement (via the BBC).

However Prince Andrew is still refusing to leave the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge after he took out a 75-year lease on the property in 2003. The situation is currently being investigated by Parliament’s spending watchdog.

According to a new report shared earlier this week, the disgraced Prince Andrew spends all day playing Call of Duty on a wall-to-wall television and “clinging to the piles of teddies in his bedroom.”

The Sun’s source went to claim Andrew “loves games like Call Of Duty [and] war games with helicopters. He certainly doesn’t play FIFA, he’s got no interest in football.” He also really enjoys “war films and watching golf on TV.”

Royal author Ingrid Seward added: “His life is very empty, he’s very lonely and I think he’s probably extremely bored. I remember Fergie telling me way back that Andrew always loved video games and he’s an aficionado of television.”

“Personally, I think the only future available to Andrew is for him to go and live away from Windsor and start a new life, somewhere that he can’t be extradited to America,” she continued. “Otherwise, he’s just stuck in a rut where every day will be the same and he will be pilloried at every turn.”

Earlier this week it was also revealed that Prince Andrew hosted Jeffrey Epstein at the Royal Lodge in 2006 as part of his daughter Beatrice’s birthday celebrations in 2006, two months after a US arrest warrant had been issued for Epstein for the sexual assault of a minor (via the BBC).

Next week a posthumous memoir by Ms Giuffre, one of the girls who accused Andrew of sexual assault, will be released after she took her own life earlier this year. “All the years of work that she put in is now coming to some sort of justice, and these monsters can’t escape from it,” her brother Sky Roberts told the BBC. “The truth will find its way out.”

bitchy | King Charles ‘did not respond’ to heckler asking about the Prince Andrew cover-up

People rarely remark on it at this point, but it’s truly insane to see how many “medals” King Charles wears these days whenever he’s doing an event for veterans or the military. Even in his later years as Prince of Wales, he wore an insane number of medals, but I swear, he’s given himself like six more since he became king. Anyway, these are photos of Charles and his medals at the National Memorial Arboretum. He attended the dedication ceremony of the LGBT+ Armed Forces memorial and he also had an event at Lichfield Cathedral in Staffordshire. It was outside the cathedral that Charles did a little walkabout with assorted fans behind a crowd barrier. Most of the people there were supporters, but at least one man was not:

King Charles was heckled by a protester asking him about Prince Andrew’s relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during a visit to a cathedral on Monday. The man asked how long the King had known about his brother and Epstein, and questioned whether he had asked the police to “cover up” for Andrew.

His protest was met by vocal support for the King, including one woman who told him to “shut up”. There were also loud chants of “three cheers for the King”.

Prince Andrew’s links with Epstein have been under intense scrutiny in recent weeks. The prince, who relinquished his titles earlier this month, has strongly denied any wrongdoing.

Throngs of fans had waited to meet the King, who was visiting Staffordshire for an engagement at Lichfield Cathedral. In video footage from the event, the single protester said: “How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein? Have you asked the police to cover up for Andrew? Should MPs be allowed to debate the royals in the House of Commons?”

The King did not respond to the questions but carried on greeting fans, some of whom chanted “God Save The King”. One fan can be heard asking him for a hug.

Several people outside the cathedral looked visibly annoyed by the protester, with a woman telling him to “go away and leave him alone”.

[From BBC]

I included the video in a post yesterday, but it’s worth dedicating a story to this. The only thing I’ll say in Charles’s defense is that at least he’s out and about. Prince William is still on vacation and he hasn’t been seen in ten days. Now, could Charles have handled this better? For sure. It reminds me of the months after QEII died, when Charles could barely leave the castle without being loudly protested wherever he went. Some people even threw eggs. That was just three years ago! The protests, heckling and egg-tossing died down for a time, especially after Charles’s cancer diagnosis. It’s interesting to see people ramping up again, especially in the wake of the Prince Andrew fiasco and the monarchy’s struggle-bus approval ratings.

Additionally, if you want to hear a story about how Charles and his not-ready-for-primetime team of courtiers completely bungled their messaging on Andrew last week, I’m also including a clip of Emily Maitlis describing what really went down when royal reporters were all abuzz last Thursday about a big announcement coming out. The palace actually told news outlets to go to Windsor because they wanted everyone to get photos of Charles driving over to Royal Lodge to bitch out Andrew. Instead, the palace chickened out (Charles the Ditherer) and then blamed the media for turning everything into a circus.

“The Palace got very nervous… they blamed a “media circus” – a circus entirely of their own making.”

Journalists were tipped there “may be passing traffic” outside Royal Lodge on Thursday night… but it didn’t materialise. 👀@maitlis | @jonsopel pic.twitter.com/En5NScmpS2

bitchy | Princess Kate ‘shudders at the thought’ of living one mile away from Prince Andrew

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

In late August 2023, the Prince and Princess of Wales made their annual jaunt up to Balmoral. They rarely stay more than a few days, and they usually time their visits around a weekend, so that they can be photographed going to the local church with the rest of the family. In 2023, King Charles reportedly “ordered” William to chauffeur Prince Andrew to church that Sunday. William drove, Andrew rode shotgun, and Kate was in the back. I’m including the Telegraph’s exclusive photo at the end of the post, the one they ran on social media. It was a big moment even then, that William and Kate were visibly lending their support to a man who paid an eight-figure out-of-court settlement to a human-trafficking survivor and rape victim. Afterwards, sources close to Andrew crowed about how pleased he was with the support from Will and Kate. Two years later, and we’re being told that Will and Kate were “forced” into it by King Charles, who apparently “ordered” them to do the photo-op.

In any case, most people don’t buy William’s current tantrums about how much he hates his uncle. They can’t even keep their stories straight about William’s involvement in Andrew’s current catastrophes – either William is barking orders at MPs, or William is on vacation and not part of the ongoing discussions whatsoever. But the people close to William and Kate sure are complaining a great deal about how much they do NOT want to live close to Andrew. The Waleses literally grabbed 150 acres of a public park to make their own taxpayer-funded estate, but they can’t face Degenerate Andy one mile away?

Prince Andrew is facing mounting pressure to quit Royal Lodge before the Prince and Princess of Wales move into their nearby ‘forever home’, it has been claimed. Royal sources have told this newspaper that William and Kate want to move into Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park before Bonfire Night. The eight-bedroom home is just over a mile from Royal Lodge, where Andrew has lived for more than 20 years, and William is said to want his disgraced uncle out of his 30-room mansion by the time they move in.

Negotiations over the prince’s living arrangements are taking place on a daily basis amid a public outcry after it emerged he only pays a ‘peppercorn rent’ on the lavish property. Andrew cannot legally be evicted from Royal Lodge under the terms of his ‘cast iron’ lease but Palace insiders believe he will inevitably have to move out because of the scale of public anger.

William and Kate are said to be keen to use the half-term break to prepare their children George, 12, Charlotte, ten, and Louis, seven, for their house move.

A source said: ‘Catherine shudders at the thought of living so close to Royal Lodge while Prince Andrew is still in it. William wants him gone before they start to move in next week. It’s not about what Andrew doesn’t want to do anymore. It’s about what he’s going to be told to do.’

The Waleses moved from an apartment in Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage, which is just over three miles from Forest Lodge, in August 2022. The MoS has learnt that they had previously wanted to move to Royal Lodge – but Andrew insisted on staying.

‘Them going into Adelaide Cottage was never the plan,’ one well-connected source said last night. ‘But they were forced to because Prince Andrew wouldn’t shift.’ Earlier this year, however, the family set their hearts on Forest Lodge, a Georgian mansion where they hope to raise their children in a more relaxed, rural setting and remain hands-on parents.

Royal Lodge and Forest Lodge are a short walk from each other, with both nestled in quiet corners of Windsor Great Park. Andrew regularly goes horse-riding in the fields and woodland nearby. Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife who also lives in Royal Lodge, was said by one insider to have been excited about the prospect of the Waleses and their young children being neighbours.

[From The Daily Mail]

As the conversation has moved so heavily into “what would it take for Andrew to leave Royal Lodge,” something occurred to me – if William and Kate really wanted to live in RL, why didn’t THEY buy out Andrew’s lease in 2022-23? That’s the conversation with Charles as well – Andrew has telegraphed for the past two years that he would be willing to leave RL, but he will only do so if someone pays him for what he’s put into RL, etc. It wouldn’t be pretty, and it would have been a terrible look for the Waleses, but how is the current situation a better look for the whole family? If anything, this strengthens Andrew’s negotiations to get more money out of Charles. “Well, you know Will and Kate want me out, so why don’t you add another $5 million and I’ll be out by the end of the week.” And at least they’re now admitting that Will and Kate were the ones trying to force Andrew out of RL in the first place. And now his presence might ruin their Forest Lodge move, the poor lazy sausages!

bitchy | Prince Andrew demands two homes in exchange for Royal Lodge: Adelaide & Frogmore

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

The Sun reported exclusively late Sunday that Prince Andrew is now “demanding” two royal properties in Windsor as part of his exit deal from Royal Lodge. Going left unsaid, by the Sun at least, is that Andrew is absolutely demanding a financial settlement from King Charles to give up his lease on Royal Lodge. But right now, they’re just focused on where Andrew and Sarah Ferguson will live once they leave RL. Apparently, Andrew wants Frogmore Cottage, and he wants Adelaide Cottage for Fergie. Frogmore was completely renovated in 2019, all paid for by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, after which they were evicted by Charles. Adelaide is where the Princess of Wales and her three children have lived since the summer of 2022.

Prince Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson have agreed to leave Royal Lodge — but want TWO homes in return. Andy, 65, demanded Harry and Meghan’s ex Windsor pad Frogmore Cottage in exit talks with Palace bosses. Fergie, 66, is lining up nearby Adelaide Cottage after William and Kate leave next month.

A friend of the pair said: “No one is really sure how it’s going to go down at the Palace yet.”

Andy’s brother King Charles has long wanted them out of the 30-room mansion where they have not paid rent for 20 years. And it has been hoped within the Palace that Andrew would move to Harry and Meghan’s former home Frogmore Cottage. William and Kate are due to leave Adelaide Cottage next month.

Neither house would need renovations or cost taxpayers more on security as they lie within the Windsor Castle security perimeter. Talks are said to be continuing on how much rent Andrew and Fergie would be charged.

The friend added: “Andy is willing to leave, but these are his demands. He is realistic and knows the writing is on the wall and that his time at Royal Lodge is up. If he must go then he has asked for Frogmore Cottage. Incredibly Sarah has said she wants Adelaide Cottage. Sarah and Andy have lived together at Royal Lodge since 2008 despite being divorced and seen like they are still a married couple/ It’s incredible that they are willing to go their own separate ways. But it indicates that they have been under immense strain this year and need a break from one another. It’s a fresh start for both. Frogmore Cottage is too small for both and Adelaide Cottage is around the corner so they will see each other whenever they want. Both have space for their daughters Eugenie and Beatrice and their families to visit.”

Andrew, 65, was first offered Frogmore in January 2023 when Harry and Meghan were evicted but turned it down as he refused to leave Royal Lodge.

Friends have also said Fergie, 66, feels like she deserves a royal home to see out her years. She has previously spoken about feeling short-changed by her 1996 divorce settlement when she received £600,000-£800,000 — compared to Princess Diana who is said to have netted £17million.

[From The Sun]

This reads to me like Buckingham Palace is trying to gauge public reaction to the idea, and if it goes over poorly, they’ll change tack. Personally, I think it’s completely audacious to “punish” Andrew and Fergie’s lies, grifts, rapes and depravity with “two nice rentfree homes on the Windsor estate.” What f–king part of “the Yorks need to be out of sight” does Charles not f–king understand? But this also goes to show something I’ve been saying for the past week – Andrew has a strong hand in these negotiations. The fact that he’s demanding two homes AND a generous cash settlement (and no one in the palace has balked) is evidence of that.
