The makers of Bigg Boss 19 have released a new promo for this weekend’s episode, showing host Salman Khan confronting contestants about their passive gameplay. In a tense moment, Salman targets singer Amaal Mallik, directly questioning his lack of involvement in the house.
In the teaser clip, Salman asks Amaal, “Are you here to just sleep? You came here to tell the world who the real Amaal Mallik is, right? You have done that?” Amaal nervously shakes his head in denial.
Salman continues, “What are you waiting for? The image that you had outside, it’s getting worse here. There were a lot of expectations that Amaal would cause a storm inside the house. Basically, a front-foot player has turned into a background artist.”
So far, Amaal has been seen ganging up with other contestants and giving his opinions on how the game should be played. He and fellow contestant Zeishaan Quadri are often seen discussing strategy.
Hosted by Salman Khan, this season, themed Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar (The Housemates’ Government), gives contestants more decision-making power than the show’s own authority, Bigg Boss.
The show features 16 contestants, including Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Nehal Chudasama, Baseer Ali, Zeishaan Quadri, Neelam Giri, Tanya Mittal, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Kunickaa Sadanand, and Farhana Bhatt. It streams daily at 9 PM on JioCinema and airs at 10:30 PM on Colors TV.
