Lady Gaga has opened up about her struggles

The 39-year-old actress starred alongside Bradley Cooper in the 2018 musical romantic drama film, and Gaga has now confessed to experiencing a psychotic break during the shoot.

The chart-topping singer – who cancelled the Joanne world tour after filming wrapped – told Rolling Stone: “There was one day that my sister said to me, ‘I don’t see my sister anymore.’ And I cancelled the tour.

“There was one day I went to the hospital for psychiatric care. I needed to take a break. I couldn’t do anything … I completely crashed. It was really scary. There was a time where I didn’t think I could get better … I feel really lucky to be alive. I know that might sound dramatic, but we know how this can go.”

By contrast, Gaga is now a “healthy, whole person” having found love with Michael Polansky.

Gaga admits that her fiance has transformed her entire life.

The pop star – who began dating Michael in 2020 – shared: “Being in love with someone that cares about the real me made a very big difference.”

Meanwhile, Gaga previously admitted that she found it “really hard” to cope with stardom.

The singer signed with Interscope Records back in 2007 and she quickly became one of the most talked-about artists in the world – but Gaga has ultimately found a stable, healthy influence in Michael.

The Poker Face hitmaker told Extra: “In any room, he just holds me so high, and I’m sure that people don’t, like, all know this, but being the only woman in the room most of the time since I was a teenager was really hard. And so I have a deep love for my fiance because he just, he, like, holds me in a sacred space.”

Gaga actually worked with Michael on Mayhem, her most-recent album, and Gaga admitted that he’s her “partner in every way”.

The New York-born star said: “He’s a part of everything I do because he also makes me a part of everything that he does, and I just have to say, like, as a woman in music and in business, I have a lot of respect for men that uphold women.”

KISS Announce Massive 50th Anniversary ‘Alive!’ Box Set

KISS, technically, retired this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still rock and roll all night with the greasepaint and pyro legends. The band announced the upcoming release of a huge box set celebrating the 50th anniversary of their landmark Alive! concert album.

The Super Deluxe version of the album will feature 4 CDs + Blu-Ray audio, an Alive! track list t-shirt with 120 tracks, including 88 previously unreleased tracks. The first CD features the original album on one disc for the first time ever, newly remastered from the original 1975 stereo analog master tapes. In addition, CDs two and three will feature two full-length concerts from the 1975 Dressed to Kill tour at the RKO Orpheum Theatre in Davenport, Iowa on July 20, and the Wildwood Convention Hall in Wildwood, N.J. on July 23, newly remixed by the legendary engineer Eddie Kramer from the original multi-track analog tapes with no overdbubs.

The fourth CD will pull together five rehearsal tracks from the Davenport show, including an impromptu jam and another six songs from Cleveland Music Hall in Cleveland, Ohio on June 21, 1975, remixed by Kramer from the original multi-track recordings. The Blu-Ray audio disc will contain a new Alive! mix from Kramer from the original album multi-track analog tapes in Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround, as well as newly remastered stereo in 192 KHZ 24-bit and 96 KHZ 24-bit PCM stereo set to a new visualizer with unreleased photos and tape box images.

The Super Deluxe version ($400.48) has a number of other extras, including a 100-page hardcover book with extensive liner notes by Ken Sharp and new interviews with singer/guitarist Paul Stanley, bassist/singer Gene Simmons and other notable Alive!-era KISS team members, as well as a number of unreleased photos and rare images. In addition, it will fold in an Alive! 1975 press kit with: four black and white glossy photos, an Alive! tour program, album cover lenticular, t-shirt iron-on, four live color glossy photos, a Peter Criss drum head litho, a number of concert posters, ticket stubs and backstage passes, coasters, guitar picks, bumper stickers and a track-by-track interview with Kramer discussing nearly all the tracks in the collection.

The anniversary edition will also come in a 4-CD box set version with a t-shirt ($287.55), a deluxe picture disc edition with sweatshirt ($251.89) and a premium color vinyl version with a sweatshirt ($125.98). All the editions are slated to ship on Nov. 21, with Kiss Army members eligible for pre-order now here.

Alive! was KISS’ fourth album and their first live LP, as well as a kind of standard-bearer for live rock albums going forward. Though they’d released three albums by that point, the band rose to a new level of fame thanks to the double concert album that collected songs from the theatrical group’s 1974 self-titled debut, as well as that year’s Hotter Than Hell and 1975’s Dressed To Kill, including such future stone-cold live staples as “Deuce,” “Strutter,” “Firehouse,” “Black Diamond,” Cold Gin” and “Rock and Roll All Nite.” (Click here for a taste of Sharp’s extensive history of the making of Alive!)

The album features the indelible work of late founding guitarist Ace Frehley, who died last month at the age of 74 following injuries from a fall in the studio. Frehley will become only the third person to receive the Kennedy Center Honor posthumously when KISS collect the award at a ceremony slated to tape on Dec. 7 and air on CBS on Dec. 23.

Jonathan Bailey crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2025 – National

Jonathan Bailey has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine for 2025.

The magazine’s pick was announced Monday night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bailey takes the mantle from The Office and Jack Ryan star John Krasinski, who was the 2024 selection.

The Wicked: For Good actor is the first openly gay man to be named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in the title’s 40-year history.

Bailey had audiences swooning as Prince Fiyero in his 2024 big-screen debut in Wicked, the popular movie musical whose second half arrives in theatres Nov. 21.

He dripped with charm as Lord Anthony Bridgerton on Netflix’s Bridgerton, and earned a 2024 Emmy nomination for his role in the Showtime series Fellow Travelers. Most recently, he starred in Jurassic World Rebirth, which came out in July.

The 37-year-old British actor said it was a “huge” honour to be given the title of Sexiest Man Alive.

“Obviously, I’m incredibly flattered. And it’s completely absurd,” Bailey told the magazine.

“It’s a big deal because it’s the 40th anniversary of Sexiest Man Alive. Where were you when you got the call for this?” Fallon asked Bailey.

Bailey said he first heard about the title at the beginning of 2025 while appearing in a production of Shakespeare’s Richard II.

“The only thing madder than doing Richard II was to be invited into this,” he said. “And also in 2025, I’m sort of thrilled that People magazine have invited someone in, bestowed this honour on someone who can really cherish the value of a sexy man.”

When asked if he thinks people are going to treat him differently after being named Sexiest Man Alive, Bailey laughed and said, “I f—ing hope so.”

Bailey, the cover story in People’s edition coming out Friday, had to stay tight-lipped about the news. But he admitted to the magazine that he couldn’t keep it a complete secret — he shared the news with his dog, Benson, who will also be featured in the magazine.

When asked who will give him the most grief when they find out about his new title, Bailey said a lot of his friends.

“They will be furious that I haven’t told them and then they’ll just squeal with delight. And also they’ve seen me grow up, you know like the magic behind the mask of being identified as a sexy man is that there are other truths that they know and they’ve witnessed,” Bailey told People.

Bailey’s Wicked castmates, including Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and Jeff Goldblum, all took to Instagram to celebrate his new title in a video.

“Congratulations to our boy Jonathan Bailey,” director Jon M. Chu said.

“He’s the sexiest man alive not only on this planet but in the solar system and the universe and any multiverse,” Goldblum said while showing off his T-shirt featuring a photo of Bailey.

“You’re the kindest and most brilliant and beautiful inside as well,” Grande said.

The first Sexiest Man Alive was Mel Gibson in 1985. Other past recipients include Brad Pitt, George Clooney, John F. Kennedy Jr., David Beckham, Michael B. Jordan, John Legend, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Rudd, Pierce Brosnan and Patrick Dempsey.

Arshad said, “I was trying to figure out which one of them had the best smile. I saw her and thought she was a beautiful girl and a good dancer. I told her I act in theatre and that it would be nice to work with her, but she refused.” Despite her initial refusal, fate had other plans. Maria later attended one of Arshad’s plays in Bandra and was so impressed that she decided to join his dance troupe as a background dancer. That’s when their story truly began.

Arshad said with a laugh, “She fell in love with me, but never told me, but her body language said it all. All my friends told me she liked me. When I asked her, she said no.” It wasn’t until a performance in Dubai that Maria’s feelings came to light. “We had a show in Dubai, and I offered this Catholic girl a beer. Halfway through the bottle, all her feelings came out,” Arshad joked. “Then we started going out, and we got married.” Arshad further said, “I also believe that lust is more valuable. A husband and wife should always have lust for each other, which never ends. Love can exist between a mother and son, but between a husband and wife, lust is more important. You should have lust for each other; that’s what keeps your relationship alive forever.”

Stree 2 ended with the victory of Shraddha Kapoor’s character, as she defeated Sarkata with the help of her mother, Stree’s powers, and assistance from Vicky, i.e, Rajkummar Rao’s character.

Is Sarkata From Stree 2 Back In Thamma, Or Is It Akshay Kumar’s Evil Character?

One of the major debates among the audience after watching Thamma is whether the Sarkata is the new version of Akshay Kumar after drinking from the lava pot, or if it is the same Sarkata who was already killed in Stree 2.

With the lava-structured body of Sarkata in Thamma, it seems that he somehow survived despite facing defeat in the second installment of Stree. Also, with the gigantic size of the body, it’s unlikely that Akshay Kumar was behind Sarkata’s new version in Maddock’s latest film.

The original Sarkata likely resurfaced with its modified version, which is stronger than before. However, Akshay Kumar’s character could probably have played a crucial role in Sarkata’s resurgence.

Is Sherlock Holmes Alive on ‘Watson’? Morris Chestnut and Rochelle Aytes Talk His Return (Exclusive)

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for the Watson Season 2 premiere “A Son in the Oven.”]

“What the hell?!” That’s what’s going through the head of Morris Chestnut‘s titular doctor when he finds his friend, the sleuth Sherlock Holmes (Robert Carlyle), who’s supposed to be dead, raiding his fridge at the end of the Watson Season 2 premiere.

“His first thought is, does he believe what he’s seeing?” Chestnut continues in the video interview above with him and Rochelle Aytes (Mary) when they stopped by TV Insider’s office ahead of the premiere. “That person is supposed to be deceased. So, he just can’t believe not only is that person not deceased, but he’s raiding his refrigerator.”

We don’t get any answers — is Sherlock really alive, or is Watson seeing things? — but whatever’s going on, “Mary’s not married to him anymore, so that’s Laila’s [Tika Sumpter] problem, for now,” quips Aytes.

Chestnut says he’s still figuring out Watson and Sherlock’s dynamic. “There’s still a lot of unresolved issues that we have to talk about, including I kind of really want to confront him about this disappearing on me like he did, if he is in fact alive,” he explains.

Meanwhile, it’s a heavy premiere for Mary, whose mother, Watson’s patient with a worrying case of dementia, needs a liver transplant. Mary’s not a match, but, surprise: Elizabeth (Juanita Jennings) had a son before her whom she gave up for adoption, and she’s been visiting Miles (Khary Payton) in his bakery every day. She appeals to him, and he agrees to donate.

“It was definitely way more emotional and so heavy, so exhausting, but also very rewarding and challenging to get to play another dimension of Mary, getting to see her in a more vulnerable light,” says Aytes.

As for that shocking reveal of Mary having a brother, “I don’t even think she could really process it in the moment,” Aytes tells us before praising the casting of Payton. “Amazing actor. There were similarities between the two of us. I was looking at his face and I was like, ‘Wow, they did a great job.’ I think Mary is emotional because she has a brother that she didn’t know existed, and I’m sure there is a part of her that’s grateful to Watson for finding him. And I hope that they bring him back to show more that they’ve stayed in connection in a relationship with each other.”

While this is something that her mom hid from her, Aytes thinks that while Mary “was hurt … there’s some grace, I think, Mary gave her for being young and not ready. But it was shocking that she never told her about this person.” After all, as we see at the beginning of the episode, Mary and her mother have a great relationship. Aytes is hoping both Payton and Jennings return, plus she wants to know “who and where [her] father is. Is he alive? Is he dead? Are we estranged?”

It’s while Watson’s sitting with Mary at her mother’s hospital bedside that we learn that she was seeing someone, but the other woman ghosted her after her mom got sick. Aytes isn’t sure what Mary’s looking for in a partner right now.

“She was married to Watson for a long time. Maybe she’s not ready for something very serious, and it’s just kind of enjoying life. But I have hopes that Mary and Watson will get back together at some point,” she admits before teasing, “We have little hints of our relationship throughout the season. We have some flashbacks, which is always fun.”

Watson has (seemingly) moved on, with Laila, but if you ask Aytes, “he’s not serious” about her. Chestnut somewhat disagrees.

“Watson definitely takes Laila seriously because there is a child that could be involved, and we’ll see what happens with that later on in the season,” he explains. “But he does feel like he still has some unresolved feelings, emotions, situations, circumstances with Mary, so he’s conflicted in that regard and he has to figure out how he’s going to deal with it.”

Drishyam 3 shooting begins with pooja in Kerala, Mohanlal shares new pics: ‘Bringing Georgekutty’s world alive’

The shooting of Drishyam 3, the sequel in the Drishyam series, began at SN Law College, Poothotta in Kochi on Monday. Actor Mohanlal, who recently won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, essays the lead role in the film.

Mohanlal shared several new photos as Drishyam 3 shooting started.

The inaugural function was marked by a traditional lamp-lighting and pooja. Director Jeethu Joseph and producer Antony Perumbavoor joined Mohanlal at the event.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mohanlal shared a bunch of photos. He wrote, “Bringing Georgekutty’s world alive once again…Today marks the beginning of Drishyam 3 with the Pooja. #Drishyam3 #JeethuJoseph #AashirvadCinemas #Drishyam.”

Speaking to reporters, Mohanlal expressed his happiness over receiving Indian cinema’s highest honour. On his role as Georgekutty in Drishyam’s new series, he said, “No doubt Georgekutty will create some trouble. But I have been told not to reveal much. The suspense is the excitement and catch of Drishyam 3.”

Mohanlal said that he would be travelling to New Delhi to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke award after the movie shooting inauguration event.

Drishyam (2013) and Drishyam 2 (2021) were pan-India hits and remade in multiple languages, including Hindi, Sinhala, Mandarin and Korean.

Director Jeethu Joseph said that audiences should not come with over-expectations but with curiosity. “This film is not a thriller but a family drama, focusing on how Georgekutty’s family has changed over the last four years,” he added.

Javal Bhatt, a relationship coach, motivator, and writer, shared three simple tips to keep the spark alive in your relationship. In an Instagram video posted on November 26, 2022, he explained how to prevent boredom from creeping in, even after you’re fully committed. His advice focuses on building small but meaningful habits that keep love, curiosity, and excitement intact over time.

Don’t stop flirting

According to Javal, it’s important to keep the spark of flirting alive, not just in the early stages of dating, but even after committing to a relationship or marriage. He explains, “Flirting keeps the romantic relationship alive and helps you prevent taking your partner or relationship for granted.”

Avoid talking all day

Javal points out that talking to your partner 24×7 means you are always updated about each other. This takes away the curiosity and excitement of sharing things when you finally meet or talk at the end of the day. Jawal’s advice? “Decide the mutual timings of the day when you both are available and fully free to invest the quality time.”

Lisa had been rushed to the hospital after her ex-husband Danny Keough—dad to Riley Keogh and the late Benjamin Keough—found her unresponsive at her home due to a small bowel obstruction that developed after a bariatric surgery she’d had years prior.
