In a recent interview, Khesari Lal Yadav explained that it was an artistic move for him and insisted that the idea for the video wasn’t his. He said, “It was an art, and I did it accordingly. It wasn’t my idea.” Khesari went on to clarify that the video had been edited with a song and shared by Akanksha, but he hadn’t posted it himself.

“Someone then added a song to it, which Akanksha shared. I didn’t even share that video. I realize that was wrong. This is not right for society. But later I understood and will not do it again.” Khesari also acknowledged that his wife was understandably upset when she saw the video. He admitted that she was furious and very upset after watching it, saying, “She should have been upset. It was an objectionable video.”
