‘AGT’ 2025 Finalists Are Revealed

The semifinalists did their thing, America voted. Now we know the score.

On Wednesday night, Sept. 17, America’s Got Talent America revealed the six performers who collected the most votes and get the go-ahead for the Finale.

Singers Jessica Sanchez, Jourdan Blue and the Leo High School Choir Choir are safe, as are improv Rapper Chris Turner, projectionists LightWire, and acrobats Sirca Marea. They join rappers Micah Palace (judge Simon Cowell’s Live Golden Buzzer) and Mama Duke (Mel B’s Live Golden Buzzer), dance troupe Team Recycled (Howie Mandel’s Live Golden Buzzer) and singer-songwriter Steve Ray Ladson (Sofía Vergara’s Live Golden Buzzer), each of whom bypassed the Semifinals drama.

It’s the end of the line, however, for Bay Melnick Virgolino, Unreal, Birmingham Youth Fellowship Choir, TT Boys and Zak Mirz, who are eliminated at the penultimate stage.

For Sanchez, a spot in the final is a dream come true. “I’m really stunned, thank you America,” she told host Terry Crews after her name was called. “I’m just so honored to be here…I’ll do my best.”

Sanchez has imagined this moment for two decades, or more. The Houston, TX native, who is nine months pregnant, auditioned for the first season of America’s Got Talent back in 2006, when she herself was child, aged just 10.

She returned to AGT for its 20th season, when she auditioned by singing Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things.” The judges were so impressed that Sanchez wound up earning a golden buzzer from Vergara, sending her immediately to the live round of the competition.

For her Semifinal knockout, she performed a soulful rendition of Golden Hour” by JVKE, a song choice that was questioned by judges Mel B and Howie Mandel, but loved by Vergara, Cowell, and, apparently, America.

Next up, the Finalist Acts will perform for the last time on Tuesday, Sept. 23, with voting opening at 6pm ET. The following night, Sept. 24, is the big reveal on NBC: the winner of America’s Got Talent Season 20, and the $1 million grand prize.

Casting is already underway for Season 21.  Visit agtauditions.com for more.

LE SSERAFIM Delivers ‘HOT’ Performance as ‘AGT’ Reveals Semifinalists

Trust LE SSERAFIM to crank the heat.

The South Korean girl group strutted their stuff on the America’s Got Talent stage Wednesday night (Sept. 10), for a two-song showcase.

The pop outfit took a pause from the US leg of their EASY CRAZY HOT world tour for a breezy, three-minute medley of “HOT” (English version) and “ANTIFRAGILE.”

Afterwards, bandmate Huh Yunjin took the mic to share some advice for the AGT hopefuls. “Whatever the outcome, it’s all a part of you,” she remarked. “So what matters is the passion that brought you here. I hope that that stays with you forever. We’re all rooting for you. You guys are so talented and it’s been an honour to share the stage with you.”

Earlier this year, the ensemble scored its second No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart as HOT debuted atop the tally. That feat marked LE SSERAFIM’s fifth top 10 in total for the group, which previously reached No. 1 with its last chart entry, 2024’s Crazy.

A sixth top 10 might not be far off. New music is said to be coming next month.

While LE SSERAFIM turned up the temperature, ten AGT performers were already sweating on the results of the final Quarterfinal.

After Tuesday night’s live round, America voted, the results were tallied, and tonight, the winners and eliminations were confirmed.

Of the eleven acts, seven would go home and the top three would advance to the Semifinal.

Those top three acts are Birmingham Youth Fellowship Choir, TT Boys and Zak Mirz, respectively, all of whom stay in the competition. As previously reported, Team Recycled head direct to the Finals after winning Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer.

The podium finishers will compete with eight others that moved ahead in NBC’s talent show via America’s vote in the previous quarterfinals. They are Chris Turner, Jessica Sanchez, Sirca Marea, Jourdan Blue, LightWire, Bay Melnick Virgolino, Leo High School Choir, and Unreal Crew.

Next up, the Semifinal on Tuesday, Sept. 16 and the chance to nab the Semifinal Golden Buzzer.
The winner of AGT, now in its 20th season, wins a $1 million grand prize.

‘AGT’ Quarterfinals Round 2: See Who Advances

America voted, the results are in. And for seven unfortunate acts, the America’s Got Talent dream dries up.

Following Tuesday night’s second Quarterfinal, the live results show revealed three more talents who advance to the Semifinals.

It was a nervy wait, but a great result for Bay Melnick Virgolino, the 10 year old rock and blues guitarist; Leo High School Choir; and dance troupe Unreal, whose names were read out by host Terry Crews.

It’s the end of the line, however, for Duo Stardust, Ben Hightower, Alain Simonov, Alex Zinger, Jonglissimo, Boston Dynamics, EDT Dance Team, all of whom are sent home after their QF efforts.

The artists that move ahead in NBC’s talent competition will return to the AGT stage on Tuesday, Sept. 16 to compete in the Top 12, where they’ll be joined by the three acts that won America’s vote last week: Jourdan Blue, LightWire, and Sirca Mare. The remaining six will be determined during the next two weeks of competition.

As previously reported, Mama Duke cruises all the way to the Final, after winning Mel B’s Golden Buzzer on Tuesday night’s live elimination spot.

“You know what,” the Spice Girl remarked, “Missy Elliott better be watching out for you because you’re coming right now.” And with that, the British pop star slammed down the Golden Buzzer.

Judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara were also effusive in their praise of the aspiring hip-hop artist.  “I loved your audition,” Cowell remarked. “This might have been actually better. You have what I call it. Can’t explain what it is, it’s a feeling. You just know it and you have it. And this is going to be big, honestly. I really really like you.”

The Top 12 will chase seven available positions the Final, which include one Semifinal Golden Buzzer, six America’s votes, and the four Quarterfinal Golden Buzzer Acts. The ultimate winner gets more than bragging rights; they’ll collect a $1 million prize.

Earlier during the results special, LSU Tigers star and AGT alum Flau’Jae performed her original rap number, “Remember When,” a tribute her to father, the late Savannah rapper Camoflauge (Jason Johnson) who was killed in 2003 before she was born. Watch below.
