Diddy Could Lose Phone Access & Commissary Privileges For 90 Days Over Alleged Unauthorized 3-Way Prison Call

Sean “Diddy” Combs hasn’t been at FCI Fort Dix for long, but he’s already been accused of breaking the rules.

As reported, after his sentencing, the music mogul was moved from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center to FCI Fort Dix. Since settling into the new facility, #Diddy has come under fire for allegedly taking part in a banned three-way phone call. Per documents obtained by CBS News, the Nov. 3 call involved Diddy, an unnamed woman, and an unidentified man, a setup that violates BOP rules prohibiting multiple participants on inmate calls.

During the call, Diddy spoke with an unnamed woman about getting in touch with “the digital person” about blogs, and then reportedly discussed arranging weekend visits with loved ones, suggesting they bring “200 singles.” When the third party was added, prison officials flagged the call as a rule violation.

In his explanation, Diddy said he was talking to his female lawyer, who added his PR guy to the call to draft a statement to the #NewYorkTimes after he approved it, but he provided no reason why he would want to issue a statement to the NYT. He also claimed he wasn’t aware of the third-party phone call regulations. Despite his explanation, officials still recommended that Diddy lose 90 days of phone access and 90 days of commissary privileges. It’s unclear, however, what consequences he ultimately received. This news follows reports of Diddy being caught with alcohol, an allegation his team has denied.

Layoffs Hit ‘Access Hollywood’

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Layoffs have hit Access Hollywood as a result of the E! News linear TV show ending, The Hollywood Reporter is told. It’s a bit complicated, but we’ll explain.

As THR previously reported, E! News was canceled in July after 34 years; the show’s final episode aired on Thursday. Going forward, Terrace Studios will be home to two TV shows, Access Hollywood and Access Daily.

Today’s layoffs come as a result of the E! News cancellation. As a result of three shows now being two, several members of the stage and technical crew who worked across all three programs have been let go. A source tells THR that there “may” have been a few Access-only staffers who fell victim to the efficiencies.

But with E! News over, it just makes logical (and business) sense to attribute Friday’s layoffs to the remaining programs, Access Hollywood and Access Daily.

The daily E! News series launched in 1991. The show had a two-year hiatus during COVID.

E! News is still ongoing as a digital brand.

Some (now-former) E! News TV correspondents will go to NBCUniversal spin-off company Versant, THR was told over the summer.

NBCU has split itself in two. The NBC broadcast network, the studios, Peacock and Bravo will stay as key pieces of NBCU; all of the rest (USA Network, Syfy, E!, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen and Golf Channel, plus digital businesses Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes and Golf Now) will make up new company Versant, led by CEO Mark Lazarus

Cable channel E! still airs (some) original programming, like Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind and Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, as well as acquired content. The network recently announced upcoming series Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane and E!’s Dirty Rotten Scandals. The network remains a destination for red carpet coverage as well as January’s Critics Choice Awards.

'Skate' release date, gameplay, free to play, early access explained

‘Skate’ release date, gameplay, free to play, early access explained

by jummy84 August 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Skate finally has a release date, albeit in Early Access form. The game has had a long road to release, being announced during the pandemic and receiving a heap of player feedback during closed tests. But now the launch is finally upon us.

Here is a breakdown of everything you need to know about the Skate release date, its gameplay, and its business model.

‘Skate’ release date

Skate will release on September 16, 2025, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC. This will be an early access release, so the full scope of the game’s content won’t be available, and several key features won’t be added until post-launch seasonal updates.

This includes beloved features like Darksliders and Impossible tricks. Additionally, replay editor improvements will also arrive with Season 2 and Season 3, in addition to party voice chat.

‘Skate’ gameplay

Skate‘s gameplay was officially unveiled in the release date trailer. The game features the return of the Flick-It System, which has been rebuilt for the modern generation in Frostbite, with new tricks added in.

The Skatepedia also offers a one-stop guide to tricks, skills, and tips to help players get acquainted with the gameplay or revisit any tutorials they have missed.

What does Early Access mean for ‘Skate’?

Early Access for Skate means that the game is launching without its full range of features or finalised visuals. The plan is to continue building the game out with the community across the in-game seasons so EA and Full Circle can respond to feedback in an agile way and tackle the most important issues first.

This is an unusual release strategy for EA, which rarely ever utilises Early Access. However, it makes sense for the game as a full release is likely still at least a year or two away.

Will ‘Skate’ be free to play?

Skate will be completely free to play, so you can hop in for no upfront fee. The catch is that the game will have microtransactions, but these will all be cosmetic, and you won’t be able to buy power items or gear to make performing tricks easier.

Skate releases on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC on September 16, 2025.

Judge Grants Drake's Legal Team Access To Review Redacted Contract

Judge Grants Drake’s Legal Team Access To Review Redacted Contract

by jummy84 August 26, 2025
written by jummy84

A judge has granted Drake‘s legal team permission to review a previously redacted version of Kendrick Lamar‘s recording contract. This win for Drizzy comes a week after he filed a motion in federal court to gain access to the restricted documents. In the initial lawsuit, Drake’s legal team argued that UMG’s redactions made the 22-page agreement “unreadable and incomprehensible.”

A statement from Judge Jeanette Vargas of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York read, “Plaintiff and UMG’s request… for permission to file under seal a contract between UMG Recordings, Inc. and Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, as produced by UMG in redacted form with the designation Attorney’s Eyes Only, is GRANTED.”

She ruled that “UMG has made a sufficient showing that the information that he seeks to seal qualifies as confidential, ‘sensitive business information.’”

The document, though, will remain sealed from the public. Judge Vargas explained this is because “in this instance, the ‘interest in protecting confidential business information outweighs the qualified First Amendment presumption of public access.’”

The document will remain publicly protected because “the Lamar Contract reflects an ‘ongoing contractual relationship’ between UMG’s business partner and Lamar, the Court agrees that sealing the contract would best protect UMG’s ‘business relationships and interests, and the privacy interests of non-parties.’”

The contract in question is the main focal point of Drake’s case against Universal Music Group. He accused UMG of having contractual authority over the “Not Like Us” rapper’s music and intentionally releasing and promoting the aforementioned diss track.

Previous court filings show that Drake was seeking “extensive documentation” from UMG while the label called his complaint a “hundred-plus page ‘legal’ blather” that ignores his own history of songs with “equally provocative taunts against other artists.”

Despite them arguing that Drake initiated the exchange, they wrote, “Drake’s lawyers believe that when Drake willingly participates in a performative rap-battle of music and poetry, he can be ‘defamed’ even though he engages in the exact same form of creative expression. Drake’s lawyers can also keep seeking to ‘uncover’ evidence of wild conspiracies as to why one song that upset Drake had massive global appeal, but there is nothing to ‘uncover.’ Except for this: by working tirelessly in partnership with our artists, we achieve global success for them and their music.”
