Three years ago (almost exactly), Prince William raged and screamed about how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “like the Kardashians” because they did a Netflix docuseries. William and those close to him were using “Kardashian” as a pejorative, like Harry and Meghan should be ashamed of being associated with the Kardashian family (several of whom are billionaires), or ashamed of being “reality stars” or whatever (like the Windsors aren’t the trashiest reality show ever).

I bring this up because Meghan and Harry actually ARE friendly with the Kardashian-Jenners. Meghan sent As Ever gift baskets to various Kardashians and Harry is reportedly friendly with Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble. The K-Js even posed with Doria Ragland at a local charity event a few years back. Oh, and Emma Grede has clearly created an alliance with Meghan, and Grede is heavily invested in Kim’s Skims. Those are just some of the many connections between the two families. Which explains why Harry and Meghan were in LA on Saturday night for Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party, which was hosted by Jeff Bezos at his $165 million LA mansion. The party had a “James Bond” theme, because Bezos now owns the Bond franchise, get it?

Meghan’s look is reportedly Balenciaga. I like the general idea of it – black turtleneck, long black skirt with a thigh-high split and big, dangly earrings. The flash photography revealed that the blacks don’t match and that’s irritating to me! But I’m sure it looked fine at the party. It definitely looks like Harry and Meghan continue to nurture friendships with some of the biggest high-rollers in LA. But… but… I thought everyone in LA hates them? I thought they had alienated every important person in Hollywood? LOL.

Meanwhile, Tom Sykes whined on his Royalist Substack that the “optics” of Harry and Meghan attending a huge celebrity bash makes them look bad, because the left-behind Windsors were doing Remembrance events. First of all, Harry did like five Remembrance events in a row in Canada and everyone in Prince William’s office threw tantrums over that as well. Secondly, Harry and Meghan stepped out in LA on the same f–king night that William – the whole-ass Prince of Wales and heir to the throne – was too lazy to attend the Festival of Remembrance. “The Sussexes look superficial!” Yeah, well, William looks lazy, disrespectful, childish and stupid. So there.

It was a lavish night, and Kris Jenner went viral for her fresh, youthful glow in her strapless couture gown. Then, on Monday, she penned a sweet note for her “rock,” Corey Gamble, on his 45th birthday.

Kris Jenner Went Viral For Her Youthful Look

Kris Jenner turned 70 on Wednesday (November 5), but the fete was over the weekend. Several photos she posted on Instagram on Sunday had the internet going! “Magical night celebrating my 70th birthday with beautiful family and friends,” she wrote in the caption. The photos showed her wearing a Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Alexander McQueen from the runway fall/winter 2002

Her snatched face has been sparking conversation since May, when she accompanied Kim Kardashian to court in Paris. However, it’s no secret that Kris Jenner has undergone two facelifts. She said so, to Vogue Arabia.

“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” she confides. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy. Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything. But for me, this is ageing gracefully. It’s my version,” she told reporter Manuel Arnaut.

Social media is definitely clapping it up for  it up for the reported surgeon Dr. Steven Levine. Jenner told Vogue Arabia previously that she’s open about her surgeries because she believes it can help others.

Kris Isn’t Quitting Work (Or Her Man) Any Time Soon!

Kris Jenner’s guest list is a reflection of the momager’s poppin’ status and the earnings to match. Her net worth is estimated at over $200 million, per Vogue Arabia, and she’s reportedly taking a 10% management cut from several of her children’s businesses from Kourtney’s Poosh to Khloe’s Good American and Kylie’s cosmetic brand. Jenner told the outlet in August that she doesn’t plan to quit anytime soon. She’s aiming to beat her mom’s record of retirement at 82. She joked with the outlet that she’ll probably slow down at 85!

And the 70-year-old is keeping the same energy with her love life. She and Corey Gamble are still going strong after a decade together! He was by her side at her birthday bash, and on Monday she penned a beautiful message about his role in her life. She also shared a ton of photos of them spending time together.

WNC WhopBezzy / 70th Street Carlos: Out the Blue Album Review

In Ghetto Stories, a 2010 Baton Rouge hood flick that I like to think of as Trill Entertainment’s The Fast and the Furious, Boosie and Webbie are rivals from opposite sides of town. “You finna witness some other shit, nigga!” threatens Boosie at one point during a gas station confrontation, one of at least a dozen of his hilarious line readings. Unknowingly, the two have a mutual OG, Slimm, a big-time drug dealer with morals, although he’s cheating on his girlfriend, played by Hoopz, the winner of Flavor of Love season one. Eventually, Slimm is mysteriously killed, forcing Boosie and Webbie to come together to carry out his mission of getting rich or something and to find out who did the deed. Most of the second act is about the formation of their friendship, which is strengthened through strip club nights, getting money, cooking crack, and, of course, a makeover montage. Watch the movie once and you’ll understand the central idea of Baton Rouge rap: Nothing means more than brotherhood.

That might be why, even beyond Boosie and Webbie, Baton Rouge has been a city with strong rap duos for a minute: Scotty Cain and Mista Cain, TEC and Maine Musik, and at the moment, 70th Street Carlos and WNC Whopbezzy. Supposedly, Carlos and Whopbezzy met in the first grade when Bezzy walked into class with two golds in his mouth, a chain on his neck, and girls throwing themselves at him. In that instant, Carlos thought, “That lil bitch thuggin’,” and they’ve been boys ever since. (You should know by now to take rappers’ stories with a grain of salt, but I choose to believe this one.)

Years later, in the mid-2010s, back when Bezzy used to do Carlos’ tats, they started rapping on a whim. With a run of singles and a 2017 joint mixtape, the pair made a lot of noise in a competitive era of Louisiana rap—the rise of NBA YoungBoy and JayDaYoungan; Kevin Gates’ star turn—until they eventually took an unexplained break from dropping music together. On their return, with Out The Blue, they pick up right where they left off.

Police called to Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash

Police were reportedly called to Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party because neighbours made multiple noise complaints.

Kris Jenner had her 70th birthday party on Saturday (08.11.25)

Sources told TMZ that “loud music and disturbances” from Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, 61, and his 55-year-old wife Lauren Sanchez Bezos’ $165 million Beverly Hills estate – where the James Bond-themed bash took place on Saturday (08.11.25) night – was “echoing through the hills” and nearby residents could hear all of the action from the star-studded event.

The outlet also reported that the cops “spoke with security and issued a warning”.

When 40-year-old singer Bruno Mars performed at the media personality Kris’ party, the crowd “went absolutely nuts”, which caused a wave of cheers to crash out of Jeff and Lauren’s pad.

TMZ reports that “officers returned later when they learnt large fake hedges were blocking the street outside the property”.

As many celebrities were leaving the over-the-top bash, the dividers had to be removed because they did not have a permit.

Some of the A-listers who attended include talk show host Oprah Winfrey, 71, singer Mariah Carey, 56, actor Vin Diesel, 58, and 41-year-old Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

And the event also attracted royalty, as Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, 41, and his 44-year-old wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, went along.

Members of the extended Kardashian-Jenner family were seen at the event for Kris – whose actual milestone birthday was on Wednesday (05.11.25).

This included her daughters Kim Kardashian, 45, Kourtney Kardashian, 46, Kendall Jenner, 30, and Kylie Jenner, 28, as well as Kourtney’s husband, musician Travis Barker, 49, Kourntey’s ex-partner, media personality Scott Disick, 42, Khloe’s former partner, basketball player Tristan Thompson, 34, and Kris’ 44-year-old boyfriend, actor Corey Gamble.

Kris donned a strapless crimson ruffled gown that featured a train, and she completed her stunning look with sheer black gloves, as well as diamond earrings.

A source told People: “Kris looked stunning. It was a total Old Hollywood glam. Everyone was talking about how amazing she looked.”

And it was a truly private event as no cameras captured the party for the Kardashians’ Hulu reality TV show.

The insider added: “There were no TV cameras filming.

“It was just all about celebrating Kris, and it was everything you’d expect from Kris: over-the-top, glamorous and full of love from her family.

“It was obvious that she had the best night.”

Mariah Carey—the queen of glamour—wore an embellished slip dress, as did Paris Hilton in her beaded sky-blue number.

What did the birthday girl, Kris Jenner, wear you may be asking? We wouldn’t know: The business mogul arrived to the party via some sort of private entry, so her birthday outfit was not seen. But given her penchant for an elegant black power suit (her signature), you just know that whatever she wore to dance the night away was good. Maybe she wore one of the 65 custom designer looks that Kim bought her for her 65th birthday.

The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism, held on October 11 at EKA Arena, Ahmedabad, was a dazzling celebration of Indian cinema, filled with glamour, emotion, and unforgettable performances. Hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Maniesh Paul, the star-studded night brought together the biggest names in Bollywood.
From power-packed dance numbers by Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Abhishek Bachchan to heartfelt tributes, the ceremony captured the very essence of Hindi cinema. Cine Icons honoured at The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism

The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism took place tonight, October 11, at the grand EKA Arena in Ahmedabad. It was an evening filled with heartfelt moments, power-packed performances, and dazzling red-carpet looks. But the true magic of the night lay in a beautiful tribute, Filmfare honoured legendary artists from 5 decades, celebrating their everlasting impact on Indian cinema.

 

For the 1950s, Meena Kumari’s son, Bimal Roy’s son, and Shah Rukh Khan received the trophy on behalf of Dilip Kumar. The 1960s saw Pranutan and Mohnish Bahl receive the award for her grandmother Nutan.

The 1970s belonged to Jaya Bachchan, who was honoured as Abhishek Bachchan paid tribute to his father’s songs on Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday. In the 1980s, Boney Kapoor accepted the award on behalf of his late wife Sridevi.

The 1990s were celebrated with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Karan Johar being honoured together. 

This was a walk down memory lane, a celebration of cinema’s evolution, and a heartfelt thank you to the legends who made Indian cinema what it is today.
