Bollywood’s rising star Khushi Kapoor turned 25, and the actress celebrated her special day in true style — with laughter, love, and a whole lot of pink. The young diva, who continues to make her mark in the industry, welcomed her milestone birthday with a cozy midnight bash surrounded by her closest friends.

Khushi looked radiant in a cute pink pajama set, perfectly complementing the pink-themed décor that filled the room. Photos and videos from the celebration quickly went viral online, showing the actress joyfully blowing out candles on four stunning pink cakes. In another heartwarming photo, Khushi is seen cuddling her pet dog, adding an adorable touch to the festivities. Her friends Muskan Chanana, Kareema Barry, and Adhiraj Singh were among those who joined in the fun, ensuring the night was as cheerful and glamorous as the birthday girl herself.

As expected, social media was flooded with birthday wishes for the actress. Her family members, always her biggest cheerleaders, penned heartfelt messages to mark the occasion. Her cousin Rhea Kapoor shared a beautiful picture of Khushi on Instagram, captioning it, “Happy birthday Khushi Kapoor” with a black heart emoji. Meanwhile, her sister Anshula Kapoor wrote, “Happy Birthday to the girl who is all heart and who makes everything softer, goofier, and indefinitely more full of love. ILYSM,” accompanied by red hearts.

Fans eagerly watched for a birthday post from her rumoured boyfriend Vedang Raina, whose silence on social media has stirred curiosity.

Born to legendary actress Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor, Khushi has grown up steeped in cinema. While carrying forward her family’s legacy, she has steadily built her own identity as an actress, earning praise for her individuality, charm, and promising performances — from The Archies to her upcoming project, Mom 2.

‘We love him, we miss him…’ Westlife pay tribute to missing member Mark Feehily at 25th anniversary concert in London

29 October 2025

Westlife paid tribute to missing bandmate Mark Feehily as they celebrated their 25th anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday night (27.10.25).

Westlife performing at the Royal Albert Hall

The Irish boy band played the first of two sold out nights at the iconic venue in the UK capital but took to the stage as a trio – Shane Filan, Nicky Bryne and Kian Egan – following Mark’s decision last year to pull out of Westlife’s touring commitments due to a number of serious health issues which have included surgery, sepsis and an incisional hernia.

Halfway through the two-hour gig, Shane, 46, took a moment to remember Mark, 45, and tell fans that despite his absence from the stage Mark features on the group’s upcoming album.

Shane told the crowd: “I want to take a little moment now to speak about Mark who is unfortunately not with us tonight. But we love him, we miss him and we cannot wait to have him back on this stage with us.

“The good news is he’s obviously on the new music which you’ve heard already. And the next album obviously as well. We have a new album coming out in February.”

Shane and his bandmates then dedicated Flying Without Wings to Mark, citing it as his favourite song.

That wasn’t the only moment the Westlife boys took to speak with their loyal fans in attendance.

Nicky, 47, admitted he would never have believed when they started out 25 years ago that two guys from Dublin and three from Sligo would make it on stage at the Royal Albert Hall which has hosted music legends like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in the past.

Nicky said: “We were just five lads from Ireland – two from Dublin and three from Sligo – and now we are here.

“I was looking to see the legends and the people of notoriety, the list is endless, from kings and queens that have been standing on this stage to bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones … Frank Sinatra stood on this stage and now its Westlife.

“All our families are over here for a couple of days, the Irish are in town!”

Westlife’s set was packed with greatest hits from their two-and-a-half decade spanning career and highlights included World of Our Own, Queen of My Heart and I Have a Dream as well as swing classics Ain’t That A Kick in the Head and Mack the Knife.

Last year, Mark announced via his Instagram account that he was withdrawing from Westlife’s first tour of America and other dates after undergoing hernia surgery in the wake of other serious health issues.

He posted: “It’s Mark here… Most of you are aware that I have had some health challenges over the past while.

“It actually all started 3.5 years ago in August 2020 when I had surgery. Within a few days of this surgery I was in severe pain and was rushed into A+E.

“I eventually ended that awful day in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) where I was informed that due to a complication with the surgery, I had developed severe ‘Sepsis’, a life-threatening infection that would require immediate emergency surgery to rectify the problem and basically save my life.

“I spent the next few months in hospital. It was during lockdown. For months, due to strict Covid restrictions, I was not allowed any visitors including my fiance and my then 10-month-old daughter. It was physically and mentally a very difficult time, not to mention traumatic having to spend so long in ICU.

“In late 2021, I became very ill in Newcastle before a concert and ended up back in A+E, this time being told I had pneumonia. I was told I had to go straight home to recover and regrettably miss the rest of the concerts that December.

“I was referred to a consultant who told me I needed more surgery which I went ahead with in May 2022 meaning I was forced to miss more of The Wild Dreams tour.

“Three months after that surgery, I tried my best to soldier on for you guys and to go back on tour but unfortunately the physical demands of the concerts and extensive travel were proving too much for me.

“I developed a very large ‘incisional hernia’ and I was told that I needed further surgery to fix it. This would be my fourth major surgery since the start of it all, but I had no option.

“‘It is with the upmost level of regret that I must now temporarily stand down from all Westlife touring until a time that I have had the chance to fully recover from the turbulent journey I have been through as an individual.

“Believe me, I wish things could be different! I would like to thank you so very much for your support and understanding of me and my health over the past few years.

Tickets for Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour are on sale this Friday (31.10.25) at 10am and their album The Ultimate Collection is out 13 February 2026.

“Join the Whobilation, again!” Universal Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for the 25th Anniversary re-release of the beloved Christmas classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas – the live-action version with Jim Carrey from the year 2000. Many kids grew up watching and loving this one. Older generations grew up with the animated classic 1966 version from Chuck Jones. Both based on the beloved book created by Dr. Seuss – How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The movie, directed by Ron Howard, is a live-action version of the story about a grumpy green creature known as “The Grinch”, who lives above a town called Whoville – played under perfectly wicked make-up by the one-and-only Jim Carrey. (Rick Baker & Gail Rowell-Ryan won the Best Make-Up Oscar for this.) He plans to ruin Christmas for all of the citizens of the town, because he hates Christmas. His plan is foiled when he meets the young Cindy Lou Who (played by actress Taylor Momsen in her first film role) who teaches him the true meaning of Christmas. The cast includes Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski, Bill Irwin, and Molly Shannon. So many movies have been re-released this year and they’re continuing the trend by bringing this out again in theaters in December. Who’s going?

Here’s the 25th Anniversary trailer for Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, via YouTube:

How the Grinch Stole Christmas 25th Anniversary Poster

It’s not easy being green, especially when you’re the cranky, cantankerous Grinch. Brooding alone in the cave he calls home with only his dog Max, the reclusive Grinch wiles away his days ruminating on the horrible hatred he feels for the Whos down in the neighboring burg of Whoville. With their annual holiday festivities approaching, the Grinch hatches a vengeful plot to ruin the fun and purloin all the trappings that make Christmas so special. But he meets a surprising match in brave little Cindy Lou Who (played by Taylor Momsen), a tiny girl whose kindness and generosity of spirit just might help The Grinch begin to appreciate the beauty of the season. How the Grinch Stole Christmas is directed by the beloved American actor / filmmaker Ron Howard, directing his 14 feature film at the time just after EDtv (1999) and before A Beautiful Mind (2001) after this. The screenplay is written by Jeffrey Price & Peter S. Seaman. Based on the Dr. Seuss book of the same name first published in 1957. The movie was originally released in theaters in November 2000. Universal will re-release Ron Howard’s Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas film in theaters again starting December 12th, 2025 this winter. Who’s already a fan of this holiday classic?

“25 years later – the wound is still alive.” Mubi has revealed a brand new 25th anniversary re-release trailer for the iconic, indie classic Amores Perros, the first feature by Mexican director Alejandro G. Iñárritu. This initially premiered at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival in the Directors Fortnight sidebar, launching the career of Iñárritu who would go on to win Oscars and make a handful of all-timer movies. An amateur dog fighter, a supermodel, & worn out assassin, all separately struggling to find love, find their lives transformed by a devastating car wreck in Mexico City. The film stars Emilio Echevarría, Gael García Bernal, Goya Toledo, Álvaro Guerrero, Vanessa Bauche, Jorge Salinas, Adriana Barraza, Humberto Busto. The film’s official title is a pun in Spanish; the word “perros”, which literally means “dogs”, can also be used to refer to misery, so that it roughly means “bad loves” with canine connotations. The film was released under its Spanish title in the English-speaking world, although it was sometimes translated as Love’s a Bitch in marketing. The soundtrack includes songs by Latin American rock bands including Café Tacuba, Control Machete, and Illya Kuryaki & the Valderramas. This new 4K version was restored from the 35 mm original camera negative, which was scanned in 16-bit 4K resolution. The color & final grading was supervised and approved by director Alejandro G. Iñárritu, as well as director of photography Rodrigo Prieto. View it below.

Here’s the re-release trailer (+ poster) for Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s 2000 film Amores Perros, via YouTube:

Amores Perros Trailer 25th Anniversary

A fatal car crash in Mexico City sets off a chain of events in the lives of 3 people: a supermodel, a young man wanting to run off with his sister-in-law, and a homeless man. They are catapulted into unforeseen situations instigated by the seemingly inconsequential destiny of a dog. As a groundbreaking moment for early 2000s Mexican cinema and winner of the Grand Prize at the 2000 Festival de Cannes Critics Week, Amores Perros retains its full and undiminished power. Let us meet with Alejandro G. Iñárritu to celebrate the anniversary of his first film. Amores Perros is directed by acclaimed Mexican filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu (aka Alejandro González Iñárritu), his very first feature film at the time before going on to make 21 Grams (2003). The screenplay is written by Guillermo Arriaga Jordán. Also produced by Iñárritu. This initially premiered at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival, and also played at NYFF that year, then didn’t open in theaters until the next year – starting in March 2001. The film recently premiered again as a restoration at this year’s Cannes. Mubi will re-release Iñárritu’s Amores Perros in select theaters starting in early October – and will be streaming on Mubi starting October 24th, 2025 coming soon this fall. Any fans of this film?

OutKast Announces Stankonia 25th Anniversary Edition

OutKast Announces Stankonia 25th Anniversary Edition

by jummy84 September 22, 2025
written by jummy84

If Dua Lipa covers and washing machine jingles aren’t enough to satisfy, OutKast have announced a 25th anniversary deluxe edition of Stankonia.

Due out October 31st from Legacy Recordings, Stankonia (25th Anniversary) is a three vinyl set packed with musical and merchandise goodies galore. Chief among those bounties are three new bonus tracks: “Speed Ballin’” (released on streaming platforms for the very first time); remixes of “B.O.B.” by both the Beat Bullies and Cutmaster Swiff; and the Goodie Mob-featuring “Sole Sunday.”

Meanwhile, the piece de resistance of the packaging is brand new cover art from André 3000. There’s also unreleased photos taken during the album’s 2000 promotional cycle, a glow-in-the-dark poster, and deluxe gatefold packaging. Sadly, they didn’t go for our idea of selling “‘Gasoline Dreams’-scented air fresheners.” The CD and vinyl versions of Stankonia are available now for pre-order.

Related Video

For fans seeking even more OutKast merch, the duo’s teamed up with Ceremony of Roses for an exclusive merch drop on October 2nd. The limited edition drop includes tees with graphics taken from the original Stankonia photoshoot, a “neon-inspired Mount Rushmore-style graphic of OutKast,” and hoodies, caps, and posters. Fans will also be able to purchase all-new merch, including an André 3000-designed poster featuring an alternate Stankonia CD cover as well as hoodies and a corduroy cap. You can also pre-order everything via OutKast’s official merch store.

This release bonanza comes mere weeks before OutKast is inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. (Yes, still-ravenous merch-heads, there will also be a limited-edition reversible bomber jacket to coincide with the November 8th ceremony.) And while there’s many accomplishments that lead to this honor, Stankonia has to be up there in encapsulating OutKast’s musical/cultural contributions. The LP revolutionized the way hip-hop is made and consumed across the board, creating a new regime of inventive, left-of-center music that resonates to this day. Stankonia helped rap embrace all that was weird, silly, and wild (but still emotionally robust), and in doing, so nothing has ever heard, looked, or felt the same.

If you’d prefer to celebrate your OutKast fandom in a slightly less commercial manner, Legacy and Sony are also launching the “So Fresh, So Green” initiative. On October 29th, fans across Atlanta will gather for a community recycling drive at the Headland Delowe shopping center. (OK, yes, the first 100 people on site will also receive a limited-edition OutKast T-shirt, but think not of “Ms. Jackson” but rather Mother Earth!)

Slipknot: Slipknot (25th Anniversary Edition) Album Review

by jummy84 September 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Those two were accomplices more than enemies, though; Robinson amplified the demands Jordison made of his bandmates as nu-metal’s first master technician. Slipknot had sheared off most of the instrumental excess that came with coming up in Des Moines’ death metal scene (home to band names like Modifidious, Vexx, and Inveigh Catharsis), but not Jordison. His kick drum could replicate the sound of a jet engine or an industrial thresher. And then it gets punctuated by the sound of a guy bashing a steel shipping container or a beer keg, a perfect merger of virtuosity and dumb violence; I imagine this is what Lars Ulrich thought he was hearing during the St. Anger recording.

Though Slipknot is a nearly flawless execution of a single idea, Slipknot, the band, were still figuring some things out. “Tattered & Torn” and especially “Prosthetics” are Slipknot’s “experimental tracks,” showcases for Jones and turntablist Sid Wilson that argue for an alternate history living out their earliest dreams of signing to Ipecac and touring with Fantômas or Mr. Bungle. “Spit It Out” lives on the complete opposite end; this is the song that got the interest of Robinson and Roadrunner Records and sounds like Static-X in a Spirit Halloween. When Taylor remembers that Slipknot are a metal band, they sound like the subject of a congressional investigation. When he raps, he sounds like the backpacker you’d avoid in the school cafeteria.

The most revealing document of Slipknot figuring it all out comes not from the bounty of demos and live cuts, but the official video for “Wait and Bleed.” Though Slipknot are playing in front of a dazed, crazed crowd of thousands, it doesn’t look glamorous, because it’s not; the footage is from Mancow’s Lazer Luau II, a 1999 shock-jock radio festival at Ankeny Airfield in Des Moines. The video is overlain by a hazy scrim, like the camera was sitting on the tarmac in the oppressive Iowa summer. Compare that to the live clip for “People = Shit,” off their 2001 follow-up, Iowa. In “Wait and Bleed,” Taylor mutters, “This song is called ‘Wait and Bleed.’” Before the beat drops in “People = Shit” he hollers, “Let me see your fucking hands in the air, London!” They now have higher-end, custom-made gear, they do crowdwork, they headbang in unison instead of flopping all over the stage. Even if you still get them confused with Insane Clown Posse, there’s no denying how incredible it looks.

Yet by 2001, there was a lingering sense that this style of music was on its way out. Korn’s Issues, Limp Bizkit’s Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, “Back to School,” all of it was still doing numbers, but the returns were diminishing; Linkin Park proved that nu-metal was more likely to merge with their TRL competitors than vanquish them. I distinctly remember leafing through an issue of Rolling Stone with Slipknot on the cover and a four-star review of the Strokes’ Is This It, and thinking it could be a cultural turning point à la Guns N’ Roses and Nirvana duking it out at the Video Music Awards. The next issue was their 9/11 tribute; Clear Channel stations banned songs ranging from 311’s “Down” to Drowning Pool’s “Bodies” and Jimmy Eat World had to temporarily self-title their breakthrough album. No one knew what America needed to heal at that time, but it probably wasn’t “People = Shit.”
