Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown

New Anthony Bourdain Episodes Available on CNN Streaming Service

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

When CNN launches its new streaming service as part of its All Access subscription tier on Tuesday, it will have a tasty surprise for fans of the late Anthony Bourdain.

CNN says that its new subscription offering will include Bourdain programming that has never been available to stream, until now.

The program is called Prime Cuts, and it served as a companion series to the flagship show Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. Prime Cuts combined clips from the series with revealing interviews with Bourdain, who reminisced about the trips, people, food and cultures that he encountered, and gave a behind-the-scenes look at the show.

“These reflective, candid conversations reveal behind the scenes insights and Tony at his best — deeply honest about his travels, his work, and what the journey meant to him,” CNN says.

Prime Cuts episodes (an hour long, with commercials) ran on CNN ahead of each season premiere of Parts Unknown, serving as previews to get viewers hungry for the new episodes. But after airing on CNN (many of the episodes ran only once, more than a decade ago), they never ran again, and were not included in the streaming libraries available on CNN+ or CNN Max.

The new All Access tier will be the first time that the entire CNN Anthony Bourdain collection, including every episodes of Parts Unknown, Prime Cuts, and the 2021 film Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain, will be available to stream.

More than seven years after his death at age 61, Bourdain remains a cultural force, and a powerful draw for CNN, which poached him from his previous perch at the Travel Channel in 2012. Bourdain and Parts Unknown effectively kickstarted CNN’s original series push, giving it instant credibility and gravitas.

At the show’s series premiere party in 2013 at Porter House in New York’s Time Warner Center, he expressed excitement to this reporter at the possibility of CNN’s resources getting him places he couldn’t access before, and trepidation in acknowledging that his show’s format was a departure from what CNN was known for.

Of course, the show was a hit, and became a staple of CNN’s programming lineup.

A former chef at the New York brasserie Les Halles (the steak frites was the best in town), Bourdain first became a national name with the publication of his 2000 book Kitchen Confidential, a no-holds-barred memoir of his life as a chef and cook. That book led to a number of shows, from A Cook’s Tour and No Reservations to The Layover and, ultimately, Parts Unknown.

ARC Raiders release date: Price & platforms for new extraction shooter

ARC Raiders release date: Price & platforms for new extraction shooter

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

We’ve had technical tests, we’ve had the Server Slam open beta, and now, the ARC Raiders release date is almost upon us.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world wherein humanity has been forced underground by ruthless, sky-borne robots, ARC Raiders is an extraction shooter truly unlike any other.

It’s from Swedish developer Embark Studios, creators of fellow innovative shooter The Finals, and looks like it’s going to be another hit for the team.

So, when is the ARC Raiders release date, is it free-to-play and what actually is it? For the answers to all those questions and more, read on.

What is ARC Raiders?

The player taking on a Bastion. Embark Studios

ARC Raiders is an upcoming extraction shooter from Embark Studios, the developer of multiplayer FPS The Finals.

The game is set in a future version of Earth that has been “ravaged by a mysterious mechanised threat known as ARC”.

Players take the role of a Raider living in the underground settlement of Speranza, who ventures out to the planet’s surface to complete quests and scavenge for loot.

Anything found on the surface can be traded for new gear and upgrades to your base, giving you a means of progression over time.

ARC Raiders release date

ARC Raiders is currently scheduled to release 30th October 2025.

This was confirmed during Summer Games Fest 2025, which showed off some cinematic footage of the game’s world.

With there now being a big GTA 6 release date-sized hole in autumn, we can most likely expect to see more and more games rush to fill this vacuum.

There are already some big hitters dropping in the spookiest of months, such as Pokémon Z-A, Ninja Gaiden 4 and The Outer Worlds 2.

To better plan your gaming, be sure to check out all the upcoming video games in 2025 and beyond!

Is ARC Raiders free-to-play?

A screenshot of ARC Raiders showing a player taking cover behind a destroyed car with a giant robot in the distance.

All ARCreatures Great and Small. Embark Studios

No, ARC Raiders is not free to play.

Developers Embark Studios announced as much in a blog post on Steam, stating that “ARC Raiders will be released as a $40 premium title”.

For those of us in the UK, that equates to roughly £30 at the time of writing.

Embark Studios’ previous title, The Finals, is free-to-play, which led many to believe that the same would be true for ARC Raiders, but in the blog post, Embark Studios says that “a premium business model is a better fit for the type of game we’re building”, adding that a “premium model allows us to create a more focused, balanced, and engaging action-survival experience”.

Given the positive reception of ARC Raiders, it should hopefully avoid a similar fate to that of Concord, another $40 multiplayer game.

What platforms is ARC Raiders on?

A screenshot of ARC Raiders showing a player high up in a building looking down at other players in the street

PvPvE means you’ll do battle with players too. Embark Studios

ARC Raiders is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Now that the Nintendo Switch 2 is out, many are wondering if the game could come to the shiny new hybrid console. While there has been no official announcement of this, nor one at Summer Game Fest 2025, we wouldn’t entirely rule this out.

The Switch 2 is a much more capable device than the OG Switch, with faster memory, storage and power powerful graphics.

Given the game is to be released on the Xbox Series S and it has fairly humble minimal requirements on PC, there may be wiggle room yet for developer Embark Studios to optimise the game further for the Switch 2.

If such a feat is possible, it could be announced during a Nintendo Direct. This is all speculation on our part, however, but one can dream!

Is ARC Raiders crossplay?

A screenshot of ARC Raiders showing two players looking at each other in a forest.

Don’t let others get the drop on you! Embark Studios

Yes, ARC Raiders is crossplay!

On the official website, Embark Studios states that “ARC Raiders supports seamless social play across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC”.

You can always disable crossplay if you would rather not mingle with those not on your platform of choice. As it is a competitive game, you may not want to deal with PC players and their pesky mouse aim, or on the other hand, have to live with any sort of aim-assist.

But if you have friends on the other side, you will be able to enjoy the game together!

Is there another ARC Raiders beta?

A screenshot of ARC Raiders showing two players looking at each other in an industrial setting.

Friend or foe? Embark Studios

ARC Raiders no longer has an ongoing beta.

The last beta ran from 17th-19th October 2025.

Is there an ARC Raiders trailer?

Yes, there are a few trailers, actually!

We’ve already included the release date reveal trailer further up the page, but just above is a six-minute gameplay trailer Embark released in November 2024, showing off everything the game has to offer.

Check out more of our Gaming coverage or visit our TV Guide and Streaming Guide to find out what’s on. For more from the biggest stars in TV, listen to The Radio Times Podcast.

Nurse Unlocks Car & Much More in Wild Master Key Win

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • Albert De Guzman, a nurse and actor from Texas, won all three major prizes—including a brand new SUV—on Friday’s The Price Is Right.
  • De Guzman correctly guessed the prices of two small items, earning two key choices, one of which unlocked travel bags, a trip to Philadelphia, and the SUV.
  • He celebrated his win on social media, expressing gratitude for fulfilling his dream of appearing on the iconic game show.

A Price is Right contestant found the key to happiness on Friday’s (October 24) episode when he walked away with not one, not two, but three massive prizes, including a brand new car.

The contestant in question was Albert De Guzman, a nurse and actor born and raised in the Philippines and currently residing in Wylie, Texas, who won his way off Contestant’s Row and made it up to the stage for a chance to leave with some big money prizes.

Host Drew Carey revealed De Guzman would be playing Master Key, a game in which the contestant is shown two small prizes, each with a three-digit number displayed. The contestant must guess the correct price of each item by deciding whether to remove the first digit or the last digit. Each correct answer earns a choice of one of five keys.

The keys correspond to three locks, which contain prizes. For De Guzman, he had a chance to leave with Travel Bags, a trip to Philadelphia, and a brand-new SUV, if he selected the correct keys. Even better, if he happened to pick the Master Key, he could end up with all three prizes.

That is exactly what happened as De Guzman correctly guessed the prices of a hot plate and a pair of bookends, allowing him to select two keys. Luck was on his side, as one of those picks turned out to be the Master Key, unlocking all three prizes.

After opening the Travel Bags, Carey suggested De Guzman try the SUV lock next, and, sure enough, the key fit. “Nice job, go get it,” Carey said as De Guzman ran across the stage to hug his new vehicle. The host then checked the final lock himself, revealing De Guzman also won the trip to Philly.

De Guzman, who had a small part in the Paramount+ series Lawmen: Bass Reeves, took to Facebook after his PIR episode aired to share his amazing experience with his followers.

“Thank you for the blessings! I GOT THE MASTER KEY! I won everything in my round – the best package showcase in this episode of The Price is Right! – the hybrid 2025 Hyundai SUV, a 6-night stay in a 5 star hotel including roundtrip airfare, 7 item-luggage, two electric bikes, bookends and oven,” he wrote. “Life is truly amazing!”

He added, “Thank you to all those who waited and watched the episode. Thank you to all of your messages of support thru text & FB messenger on my 1st U.S. game show appearance. May our dear Lord bless you more! The Price is Right is the world’s longest running TV game show! While growing up, it is one of my dreams to be in this show and it happened (after passing the interview and audition).”

What did you think of De Guzman’s big win? Let us know in the comments below.

Taylor Sheridan's New Deal Shows A-List Creators Are Still King

Taylor Sheridan’s New Deal Shows A-List Creators Are Still King

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

Taylor Sheridan may never produce another series as wildly popular as “Yellowstone.” NBCUniversal will not suddenly steal away the rights to “Yellowstone” from Paramount. But the changing of the guard that will result in Sheridan taking his services from Paramount to NBCUni is seismic all the same because his name brand is more valuable than almost any individual IP he’s created.

As Puck first reported on Sunday night, Sheridan intends to strike a new overall deal for both film and TV with NBCUniversal once his commitments to Paramount are completed. Sheridan’s film deal with Paramount expires in March and his new film deal with Universal will begin next year, and he’s tied up with Paramount on the TV side until 2028, at which point he’ll then be able to start making shows for NBCUni. He’ll still be expected to stay plenty busy with Paramount until that time, but his time making a mountain of entertainment for Paramount has an end date.

Nobody Wants This Season 2 stars Timothy Simons as Sasha, Jackie Tohn as Esther, shown holding each other in front of the Hollywood sign

Paramount and NBCUniversal each declined to comment for this story.

It’s a shocking coup for a few reasons. For one, Paramount’s new CEO David Ellison recently fawned praise over Sheridan as his new company’s top creator, calling him a “singular genius” with a “perfect track record.” “My goal is to have Taylor call Paramount his home for as long as he wants to be telling stories,” Ellison told CNBC in August.

Paramount too since it merged with Skydance is the one that has been doing the poaching. One of the new regime’s first major deals was to woo the Duffer Brothers away from Netflix, offering them the chance to make culture-defining movies for theaters in a way Netflix would’ve been reluctant to offer. James Mangold signed an overall deal with Paramount and will now call it home for years to come. It was also unafraid to bring back Will Smith and Johnny Depp from Hollywood jail and make them the face of new franchises. Paramount even locked up “South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker for $1.5 billion, because it would be a blow if they walked out the door too.

'Yellowstone'
‘Yellowstone’Paramount Network

What Paramount realized, just as Donna Langley did at NBCUni, is that it’s the people that are worth spending on, not brands. Langley is making the bet that Sheridan will continue producing hits at the pace he’s done at Paramount, but also that audiences are coming to watch because it’s a Taylor Sheridan project. That they’re spinoffs of the Dutton family or are star vehicles for Sylvester Stallone or Nicole Kidman are secondary.

Thus far Paramount had been willing to write Sheridan a blank check because his shows — “Mayor of Kingstown,” “Tulsa King,” “Landman, “Lioness,” “1923,” the reality competition series “The Road,” and upcoming series “Y: Marshals,” spinoff “NOLA King” starring Samuel L. Jackson, and “The Madison” — comprise the majority of Paramount+’s streaming strategy. Those and new episodes of “Knuckles.” The shows may be expensive, which Puck reported may have been part of the reason that led to the divorce, but they deliver, continually topping streaming charts.

Sheridan also has rare clout to operate the way he wants. He’s the auteur creator who writes all his series on his own, he stays put on his Texas ranch and shoots most of his series from his home state, and he’s had the clout to push back on even his stars like Kevin Costner when it comes to who really calls the shots on the direction of the show.

There are only a handful of TV creators who have such clout in the industry. Shonda Rhimes and Ryan Murphy have virtual free reign at Netflix. Non-writers like Dick Wolf and Jerry Bruckheimer are still immensely important name brands. People like Donald Glover, Greg Berlanti, Chuck Lorre, Noah Hawley, Mindy Kaling, Jesse Armstrong, Kenya Barris, and Lisa Joy & Jonah Nolan inspire that kind of loyalty and (for most of them) back it up with prolificness. Sheridan though is 1-of-1, and soon he’ll be taking his mess of shows, the type of output you can literally build a streaming service around, to NBCUni and Peacock.

L-R: Sylvester Stallone as Dwight
‘Tulsa King’Brian Douglas/Paramount+

When the 2023 writers strike arrived, it became clear how valuable of currency it was to have an overall deal with one of those top names. Studios en masse suspended all of its first look and overall arrangements with writers, and the studios used the opportunity to purge from its ranks some of the expensive ones with talent that weren’t actually resulting in any shows. The ones that remained are the cream of the crop, and lack of activity has never been Sheridan’s problem.

By setting him up with a film deal as well, Sheridan is in a position to be a top filmmaker and a top showrunner. Universal knows how to market its auteurs, be it Steven Spielberg, Jordan Peele, or coming movies from The Daniels and Christopher Nolan. Those are similarly names who can get the clout to do what they want at the pace they want because they have a track record and an audience that is now showing up because it’s a Nolan movie or Peele movie, not because of the IP they’re working with.

We’ll see if Sheridan can join that company on both sides of the aisle. He has a film for Warner Bros. called “F.A.S.T.” likely arriving next year, and before “Yellowstone,” he looked like he was on a hot streak of movies thanks to the unofficial trilogy of “Sicario,” “Hell or High Water,” and “Wind River.” His last feature, “Those Who Wish Me Dead” with Angelina Jolie, fizzled at the box office with just $19.1 million worldwide.

Eventually, Paramount+ will get the streaming rights back to “Yellowstone” itself, which famously was licensed to none other than NBCUni’s Peacock. By that time though, Peacock could have its own new Taylor Sheridan shows to make up for it.

“Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts interviews former first lady Michelle Obama in a new ABC News Studios special, “Michelle Obama: The Style, The Power, The Look – A Conversation with Robin Roberts – Special Edition of 20/20,” set to air this Sunday, Nov. 2 on ABC.

The special, which air at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday and will stream the next day on Hulu, is timed to Obama’s upcoming book “The Look.” Roberts’ interview, which was filmed at Marymount University in Virginia, focuses on Obama’s style and other fashion-oriented topics.

“The Look,” which is set to be released by Crown on Nov. 4, was written by Obama with help from Meredith Koop, who worked as Obama’s stylist and creative consultant both during the President Barack Obama administration and after. “The Look” centers on the former first lady’s style from when she first entered the public eye.

Per the description for the ABC News Studios special, “Obama shares the important role and at times complex role fashion has played in her life, from designing her own prom dress at a young age to navigating living in the spotlight as the first Black first lady of the United States and helping define who she is today. A passionate supporter of future generations and education, Obama surprises past and present students who are working to make their own marks on fashion.”

Other interviews in the special include Koop, as well as Obama’s makeup artist Carl Ray and hairstylists Yene Damtew and Njeri Radway. Also in the special are designers Diane von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Tracy Reese and Narciso Rodriquez, as well as several fashion commentators.

ABC News Studios and 20/20 are behind “Michelle Obama: The Style, The Power, The Look – A Conversation with Robin Roberts – Special Edition of 20/20”; Janice Johnston and Karen Leo are executive producers while David Sloan is senior executive producer.

Matt Copson Adapting His Buzzy Opera ‘Last Days’ Into Feature Film

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

EXCLUSIVE: Following successful runs at the Royal Opera House in London and the LA Phil, the buzzy English-language opera Last Days has been adapted for the big screen by artist and filmmaker Matt Copson, who co-created the original opera with Oliver Leith.

Inspired by Gus Van Sant’s 2005 film of the same name and financed by Mubi, Spain’s AF Films, and LUMA, with additional support from Nina Pictures and Artemis Rising Foundation, the film is currently in production in Spain.

Copson will direct the screen adaptation, with Agathe Rousselle (Titane) signed on to star. Rousselle also starred in the original opera production. Last Days is produced by AF and Many Enterprises and Riccardo Maddalosso, in collaboration with Mubi and Joslyn Barnes’ Louverture Films (Nickel Boys). Mubi has world rights, excluding Spain, on the pic. AF retains all rights in Spain.

Last Days dramatizes the final period in the life of a successful but reclusive musician, Blake, played by Rousselle. Blake has just escaped rehab to return home, but the peace of his household is soon disrupted by a series of unwelcome visitors. Adding to the chaos are constant calls from his manager and the presence of a private investigator and a superfan stalking nearby. As the turmoil around him reaches its peak, the ghostly figure of a magician appears, offering him a way out. In the end, Blake is left alone, facing only what remains: himself.

French cinematographer Claire Mathon, best known for her acclaimed work with Céline Sciamma (Petite Maman, Portrait Of A Lady on Fire), will serve as the Director of Photography. Sound Design will be led by Nicolas Becker (Sound Of Metal), Production Design is by Liam Moore, Nicolas Chaudeurge is the Editor, and Anna Morrisey is the movement director. Costume Design is by Nat Turner.

The score by Oliver Leith, original to the opera, features an aria sung by Caroline Polachek.

Last Days will mark Copson’s feature directorial debut. The British artist and filmmaker is best known for his work in the worlds of contemporary art and opera. Copson is most widely acclaimed for his theatrical installations, which fuse lasers, sculptures, and sound. He has exhibited internationally at the KW Institute in Berlin, Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, Aspen Art Museum, and Serpentine Galleries in London.

Copson has also closely collaborated with Polachek, co-directing all her music videos with her since 2019. The 2005 Van Sant film was an experimental and fictionalized account of a  Seattle musician’s life and career, reminiscent of those of Kurt Cobain.

Monsters Inc. Monday Night Football Game Coming to ESPN, Disney+

Sulley, meet Saquon.

The Walt Disney Co. will once again present a live animated alternative broadcast of an upcoming NFL game, this time featuring characters and a stadium set in the world of Pixar‘s Monsters Inc. ESPN announced the game during halftime of Monday Night Football.

The special edition of Monday Night Football, called Monsters Funday Football, will be televised Dec. 8, when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Los Angeles Chargers. It’s the third straight iteration of the animated altcast for Disney, following a Toy Story-themed effort in 2023, and Simpsons-themed game last year.

The new Monsters Inc. altcast comes as Disney inked a multi-year deal with Sony’s Beyond Sports to develop more animated altcasts for NFL, NHL, NBA, and WNBA games across The Walt Disney Company and ESPN platforms through 2027.

The game will taker place inside the Monsters Inc. building, and will feature appearances by Mike Wazowski and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan, joining Jalen Hurts [and Saquon Barkley] and the Eagles and Justin Herbert and the Chargers, respectively. Billy Crystal and John Goodman will reprise their roles in prerecorded voiceover work for the game, with Drew Carter and Dan Orlovsky set to call the game joined by Katie Feeney as social media correspondent.

Notably, this year’s game won’t just stream on ESPN+ and Disney+, but will also be available on linear TV via ESPN2, Disney Channel and Disney XD.

“Each iteration of Funday Football has pushed the boundary of what’s possible in sports technology. By blending real-time NFL data and tracking with cutting-edge animation, we’re transforming the way fans experience an NFL game,” said Michael “Spike” Szykowny, ESPN VP of graphics innovation. “Our continued innovation with partners like the NFL, Beyond Sports and Disney+ showcases how technology can turn a live game into a fully immersive world, giving fans an additional way to consume sports.”

Cleverley has urged his Greens squad to be more aggressive and play with more edge as they look to climb back up the table.

Eve Harlow Breaks Down Ingrid and Beck’s ‘Thrilling’ Dynamic

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • In the latest Watson, Ingrid encounters Beck, a fellow sociopath from group therapy who challenges her in ways few others have, sparking intrigue and potential trouble.
  • Eve Harlow explains why Ingrid finds Beck to be “thrilling.”
  • Despite her efforts to reintegrate with the team and prove her loyalty, Ingrid continues to struggle with balancing her darker impulses and her desire to belong.

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Watson Season 2 Episode 3 “Expletive Deleted.”]

Uh-oh, it seems like there may be trouble on the horizon for the Holmes Clinic yet again on Watson. Ingrid (Eve Harlow), as she’s leaving at the end of the day after her first case back with the team, finds a fellow group therapy member, Beck (Noah Mills), waiting for her. He’s someone with a similar sociopathy to Ingrid, about whom Watson’s (Morris Chestnut) question in Season 1 was, is she more like sleuth Sherlock Holmes (Robert Carlyle) or the villain James Moriarty (Randall Park).

Beck wants a look at the clinic — he’s opened a start-up in town, connecting tech kids with his people out west — and what’s going on behind the closed doors. But as she points out, they met in group therapy for sociopaths, so there won’t be any sort of business relationship here. She also rules out a personal one when he asks her out for coffee. When it becomes clear he’s not taking that as a hard no, she warns him if he comes back, maybe she’ll kill him — and it wouldn’t be the first time — but that still doesn’t scare him off.

Below, Eve Harlow explains why Ingrid is intrigued by Beck, her dynamics with the team, and more.

How does Ingrid feel her first case back with the team went? Does she still feel like it’s her place, like she said in the group therapy session?

Eve Harlow: Yes. I think the feeling of the clinic being Ingrid’s place has never gone away, even through everything that happened at the end of last season, the beginning of this season. It’s the only place that has challenged her and I think that feeling has been really difficult to let go of. It’s the place that feels like home.

But speaking of group, Beck. This character is so intriguing. What is Ingrid’s impression of this guy so far who came into therapy late, was waiting for her outside the clinic, wants to know more about the clinic, asks her for coffee, and isn’t bothered by her murder threat?

I think that because of his response or lack of response to the murder threat, that’s what hooks Ingrid because I think there are very few people that come along that challenge her in any way. And so she meets this person that isn’t intimidated by her, that stands up to her and it’s someone who she feels that can play the game with her.

Yeah, he’s more intrigued by her because of all of this.

Yes. It’s kind of like meeting your match. I think that with Watson, the reason why she has so much respect for him, the reason why she has respect for the fellows, it’s their intelligence, they meet her at the same level. And with Beck, it’s that same sociopathy. He meets her at her level.

What’s the dynamic like going forward? What’s coming up there?

It’s fun, without giving too much away. [Laughs] Ingrid is trying to be better. She’s trying to deal with this symptom of hers, this condition of hers, and she wants the respect of the fellows, of Watson. She wants to play well with them, but also she very much has this other side of her and I think that Beck is a way of still kind of having that.

Is romance possible?

I guess you’re just going to have to wait and see.

It’s almost a test for, does she tell the team about this guy who’s interested in the clinic? That could be another threat like Moriarty last season. So is she telling anyone about Beck?

Of course. I mean, I think that she says that she wants to get better. She is trying, but obviously there are actions versus words and what will ultimately win out, and it’s a constant thing with Ingrid as in the first season of which side will win the good side or the bad side, the side that sees the way that she should be versus the way that nature wants her to be, which is lack of shame, lack of guilt, the ability to do really cruel things.

Sergei Bachlakov/CBS

Ingrid and Sasha (Inga Schlingmann) have a couple nice moments in this episode, which I loved. Does Ingrid truly miss Sasha as much as she can miss someone? Was she being completely honest about that?

Yes. I think it’s the first time that Ingrid has been seen by someone and has had someone care so much. It’s not something that she’s used to. And so even though it was difficult to incorporate initially and she was pushing it away in the first season, she kind of got used to it and then it went away and you don’t know what you’re missing until it’s gone. She didn’t know what was missing until it went away.

Then there’s Ingrid diagnosing Stephens (Peter Mark Kendall) with depression. Did she really think he knew?

I think that she thinks that he was in denial. He knows, but it’s not something that’s easy to admit. So, it’s like shining a flashlight on the thing that was so obvious.

It seems like the tension between Ingrid and the team is at least lessening by the end of this episode. They’re finding their footing again and everything. How are things going forward? Are they settling into this new dynamic?

Yeah, I do think that what Shinwell [Ritchie Coster] said to them in the first episode about Ingrid being the only one who really lost anything, it resonated and that’s also part of the reason why they put her profile forward when Watson was saying that he needs a neurologist because they all recognize how much she adds to the team and that they’re giving her another chance essentially.

Something I noticed was there wasn’t a conversation between Ingrid and Adam (Kendall) in this episode. Is one coming? I feel like Adam has stuff to say about what happened.

Yes.

What can you say about it? Who has the upper hand in that conversation?

I think all of the conversations that Ingrid is having with all the fellows, they are taking place from a space of good faith because they have accepted her back in, they’ve said yes to her, and I think that everything moving forward is just an attempt to help her on this journey.

What’s coming up between Ingrid and Watson?

I think it’s the same thing, that Watson sees the danger of Ingrid but also sees how much she brings to the clinic, how much her dynamic is necessary there. So, you can’t say yes to somebody and then be rejecting them at the same time. So it’s a full on, yes, you’re part of the team again. Yes, you’re working together and hopefully there won’t be another betrayal.

Is Mary (Rochelle Aytes) the most cautious about Ingrid, would you say, at this point?

Yes, without a doubt.

What can you say about what we’ll see there?

Actually, we haven’t had anything together yet, but I think that just from energy wise, when Mary and Ingrid are in the same room, it’s kind of like, I have my eye on you.

How willing is Ingrid to continue these therapy sessions as she’s really settling back into the Holmes clinic and I feel like that could take precedence.

I do think that the therapy is very important and I think it’s because if she doesn’t continue with the therapy, she knows that her career at the clinic is in jeopardy because she can’t have the same thing happen again that happened last season, obviously not to the same extent, but acting selfishly or putting anybody at risk at the clinic. She got a second chance. There’s not necessarily going to be a third.

Sherlock being alive — I feel like Ingrid would be so intrigued to just pick his brain. If she were to hear about him being alive, what would she want to know?

Oh my God, I think I’d want to be Sherlock’s right hand woman. “I’m here to solve mysteries with you, sir.”

That would be really interesting because last season was about, is she like Sherlock or Moriarty? Could Sherlock have the most power to sway her in a direction?

I definitely think that the people that Ingrid is drawn towards and can be influenced by are people who challenge her and challenge her intelligence, like I said, the way that Watson does and Sherlock is another one of those people that would definitely do that.

Is anything coming up there?

You know what, I told Craig [Sweeny] that I want scenes with Bobby Carlyle.

What else is coming up for Ingrid?

I think adventures with Beck, let’s say that. Also, integration of this new personality and this new kind of life and approach to things that was foreign to her before.

Is she out of her comfort zone around Beck?

I don’t think it’s out of comfort. I think it’s thrilling. And scary in terms of he is everything that she’s trying to walk away from.

‘Terrifier’ Actress Claims Breach of Contract, Sexual Harassment

Catherine Corcoran, the actress whose brutal death scene in “Terrifier” (2016) helped make the smash-hit horror franchise a success, has sued filmmaker Damien Leone and producers for breach of contract. The case was filed in a California federal court on Sunday, beginning legal proceedings that will determine whether Corcoran has been wrongly denied her fair share of profits.

The lawsuit also alleges extreme working conditions, a broken SAG-AFTRA agreement, and on-set sexual harassment — naming producer Phil Falcone in a reported incident that Corcoran says involved Falcone photographing her nude without her consent while she was trapped in a special effects rig.

“Were it not for Corcoran’s willingness to take a risk on this production and receive her compensation on the back-end, the series would not exist as it could not have been made on a shoe-string budget otherwise,” the plaintiff’s filing argued. “When it came time to pay what was owed, the producers chose to cheat her. This injustice must be rectified.”

An attorney for Leone told The Hollywood Reporter (which broke this story), “Damien and Phil deny the claims in the complaint and will vigorously defend this lawsuit.” Neither responded to IndieWire’s request for comment.

Corcoran claims she’s entitled to 1 percent of proceeds from a backend deal that covers ticket sales for all three films in the series — as well as any money made from the licensing and use of “Terrifier” IP. To date, the actress says she’s been paid less than $8,400 for her contribution to the killer clown icon.

“Terrifier 2” and “Terrifier 3” were distributed theatrically by Cineverse, and the franchise has a lifetime gross of more than $106 million at the box office. The suit lists major brand names in horror, including Spirit Halloween and Hot Topic, as proof of the artistic success Corcoran’s scene helped spark. Dawn’s death is currently featured as part of the walk-through “Terrifier” attraction at Halloween Horror Nights.

“The producers of the film paid Corcoran her royalties for a brief period of time several years after the release of the film, but when the film series’ success started to grow exponentially and exceeded the producer’s original expectations, the royalty payments became more and more sporadic and dwindled to amounts nowhere near commensurate with the revenues generated,” read the complaint, which also lists Dark Age Cinema, Fuzz on the Lens Productions, and the Art the Clown trademark as defendants.

Among the first victims of Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton), Corcoran sys she played Dawn — notoriously vivisected from crotch to cranium, while the actress was suspended upside-down — for just $100 a day. Corcoran’s performance reportedly fell under a special SAG contract for ultra low budget performers that, coupled with the terms of a mutual nondisclosure agreement Corcoran’s team has submitted as evidence, lead her to believe she would be compensated more robustly if the $35,000 film became a success. The suit claims Corcoran was later told Falcone “didn’t keep records.”

“The low-budget nature of the production carried over into the working conditions on set, including long hours in below freezing temperatures in condemned buildings, all without heat and some without bathrooms,” continued the complaint. “The so-called ‘practical effects’ that made ‘Terrifier’ so compelling on screen involved the director placing prosthetics with actual rat feces on Corcoran’s skin and real duct tape over her mouth.”

“Further, when creating the silicone mold for Corcoran’s body cast, the producers of the film required Corcoran to lie nude on a piece of plywood while she was covered with a quick-drying liquid silicone agent,” the court document said. “However, the process was done incorrectly and the silicone dried and essentially glued Corcoran to the plywood, requiring a long, painful process to remove the dried silicone from her body. To make matters worse, Falcone took numerous still photographs of Corcoran’s nude body while she was glued to the plywood sheet without her consent.”

The case further challenges the terms of Corcoran’s employment on “Terrifer,” arguing that Leone and producers never got her written approval for the nude scene as required by SAG. The actress claims that Leone, Falcone, and more “Terrifier” contributors have continued to profit off the unauthorized use of her nude image by using it to sell products. Corcoran says the sawing scene for “Terrifier” took ten hours to shoot and caused blood to pool in her head, resulting in reported cranial swelling and eardrum damage.

The public disagreement comes on the heels of more “Terrifier” controversy, involving the treatment of sequel stars Lauren LaVera and David Howard Thornton earlier this year. Neither actor has commented on the case. Production on “Terrifier 4” has not yet started and the film does not have a distributor.
