Variety will host its Future of Brand Summit presented by Acxiom on Oct. 7 in New York. The half-day event and cocktail reception will convene the industry’s most influential executives, marketers, creatives and cultural leaders to explore how brands are breaking through in today’s crowded media landscape.

The program features keynote conversations and exclusive panels with leaders across entertainment, marketing, tech, design and more, highlighting how today’s most innovative leaders are shaping the next era of brand storytelling, consumer engagement and cultural impact.

Gloria Estefan On Bad Bunny Performing At Super Bowl & Why She Declined Joining Shakira & Jennifer Lopez

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Gloria Estefan shares her thoughts on Bad Bunny performing at Super Bowl LV during halftime.

The Latin music icon is no stranger to performing on the Super Bowl stage, having made two appearances during her career. During an appearance on The Sherri Shepherd Show, Estefan expressed her excitement over the Puerto Rican singer being announced as the performer for next year’s big NFL game.

“I’m so happy for him … I think it’s great,” she said. “I think we need Latino representation in this particular moment. The Latinos have burned up that show. I have done two of them.”

Estefan first performed in 1992, where she sang hits like “Live for Loving You” and “Get on Your Feet.” Athletes from the 1992 Winter Olympics joined her on the stage at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1999, Estefan returned to the Super Bowl, where she performed alongside Stevie Wonder, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and Savion Glover.

During her appearance on the Shepherd’s syndicated talk show, Estefan revealed that Jay-Z (producer of the Super Bowl halftime show) asked her to perform in 2020 alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, but she declined.

“It would have been my third time,” she said. “First of all, they’re already dividing that time and it’s really quick. You’re in and out. And secondly, I was going to have to diet during Christmas. I did not. You know what? It’s their moment … I don’t want to push my luck. The two times went great.”

When Shepherd asked Estefan if she was to be asked by Bad Bunny to perform at next year’s Super Bowl, she said, “Again, it’s his moment. I think he’s killing it this year. for him it’s been phenomenal. I danced the day I saw him when he was singing in Spanish on SNL because that had never happened.”

Estefan suggested Karol G as a guest performer, given her resounding success. The Colombian singer recently performed during the NFL’s first international game of the season in São Paulo.

Walton Goggins Responds After Pete Davidson Says Fans Will Turn on Him

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Walton Goggins has a response to Pete Davidson after the latter predicted fans will soon “turn” on the White Lotus actor.

Last week, The Hollywood Reporter posted a story on Davidson’s comments, which were made on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast. The two were talking about how some people experience a quick rise to fame, only to see a shift in fan perception.

One example Davidson gave was that of Pedro Pascal. “Look at Pedro Pascal right now. Fucking two years ago he’s a hardworking, great actor.… He’s worked so hard and has been a struggling actor, [then] fucking blows up so fucking hard, everyone’s like, ‘Daddy, daddy! Yeah, daddy, daddy,’” he said. “And then a year later, he’s, like, in everything now ’cause he’s hot and big and everyone’s like, ‘Go the fuck away, dude.’”

Davidson then opined that “you got to give someone time to adjust to that new level of fame. He’s been banging at it for 30 years, and now he’s learning how to go get a cup of coffee or deal with someone that taps you on the shoulder while you have your earbuds in and freaks you out. You got to give that guy a fucking second to, like, adjust.”

The former Saturday Night Live star then mentioned Goggins as the next actor who may endure the same kind of treatment as Pascal.

“They’re gonna do it with Walton Goggins, [he] will be next,” he predicted. “It’s like, we build everybody up and now it’s so fast to turn. It’s within months.”

Goggins saw the THR story and posted about it on Instagram on Sunday.

He started out by writing, “I saw this article and had to respond. (Pete was talking about his own experience) Pete we don’t know each other but I appreciate the heads up. We agree on one thing…. Pedro Pascal isn’t a good man, He’s a great man. A dear friend of mine. As a 53 yr old I’m acutely aware that every experience has a shelf life. I appreciate so many of you going on this journey with me. I imagine a lot of you (and I don’t blame you) are tired of hearing my homilies. Trust me I’m tired of saying them. I have a few things coming out that I have an obligation to talk about…not for me mind you, but to honor all of those that worked so hard to bring these stories to fruition.”

Goggins also urged fans to keep scrolling if they didn’t want to click on a story about him.

“So if you see something with my name on it I encourage you not to click on it…unless you want to…and if you do…I appreciate the support,” he continued. “See to me, being included in this headline isn’t a curse it’s a blessing. How lucky am I that this is even a possibility?!! I’ve had the good fortune of engaging in so many interesting conversations with so many of you…of collaborating with so many top-shelf people across so many disciplines over the last couple of years. Way more than a poor kid from GA would ever have the audacity to imagine. I wouldn’t take one back. So…If saying yes in life more than saying no is a crime, then I’m guilty as charged.”

Goggins also reflected on whether Davidson’s prediction might come to fruition and how he’d feel about it if it did.

“If this headline is a possibility or an inevitability…if this is my fate…. Well…. Fuck it. I’m going to enjoy the FUCK OUT OF IT,” he concluded.

Goggins was nominated for his role as Rick Hatchett in The White Lotus earlier this year. His upcoming credits include the animated film Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture and the climbing movie Batso, with Lewis Pullman and Jessica Biel. He also returns for Season 2 of Prime Video’s Fallout, which earned him an Emmy nom last year.

Will there be a Sakamoto Days season 2? Potential release date and more

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Despite that, the airing of season 1’s finale – episode #22, Each One’s Mission – hasn’t been followed with tons of information about a possible Sakamoto Days season 2, or the show’s 23rd episode that would start it off.

That said, we’ve put together all of the information available right now to tell you how likely a second season of the hit anime is and when it could happen.

Will there be a Sakamoto Days season 2?

Sakamoto Days season 2 will undoubtedly pick up from the start of the JCC Infiltration Arc. Netflix

At the time of writing, a Sakamoto Days season 2 hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but a follow-up season is practically inevitable with the anime’s massive success so far; season 1 was not only enjoyed by critics, but also achieved 24 million views during the first half of the year – as revealed by Netflix in July.

Whilst not the highest-performing show on the streaming platform altogether (Naruto scored 45 million views), that’s still a massive number for a brand new anime franchise.

With season 1 finishing after its final episode on 22nd September 2025, we likely won’t see a season 2 announcement for Sakamoto Days for some time; this is usually the case with anime – especially with studios like Sakamoto Days’ TMS Entertainment.

Nevertheless, with the success of the anime and the massive amount of chapters in the anime still to cover, we’re hopeful that plans for Sakamoto Days’ second season are being spoken about behind the scenes.

When could a potential Sakamoto Days season 2 release date be?

With the workload of its anime studio in mind, we estimate that Sakamoto Days could come back for season 2 (starting with episode 23) with a possible release date window of early 2027 for its first cour, followed by summer 2027 for its second cour.

Normally, we’d expect a launch of early to mid-2026. However, the studio behind Sakamoto Days, TMS Entertainment, is made up of an ambitious team that takes on multiple anime at the same time – Rent-a-Girlfriend, Dr. Stone, Honey Lemon Soda, etc – jumping between seasons for each season as it comes.

As a result, we believe Sakamoto Days’ second season could get pushed back as a result, as follow-up seasons of TMS’s other shows have taken at least a year to produce.

On the other hand, we’re aware of Netflix’s tendency to prioritise shows that are a definite success, marking the potential for TMS Entertainment to fast-track the next part of Sakamoto Days.

As soon as we hear any update saying we might see episode 23 of Sakamoto Days sooner, we’ll update this guide accordingly.

Didn’t Sakamoto Days season 2 already air?

Rather than season 2 of Sakamo Days, the batch of episodes we just saw finish in September 2025 was the second half of season 1 — known as a second cour.

In anime, cours are blocks of 10-14 episodes, either making up a series’ whole season, or two parts equalling 20 to 26 episodes. Whilst sometimes having a break in-between, or back-to-back with new openings and endings (like Jujutsu Kaisen season 1), both cours still count as a single anime season.

Sakamoto Days season 1 was a prime example of this: season 1’s episodes 1 to 11, airing between January and March 2025, made up Part 1; episodes 12 to 22, dropping between July and September 2025, made up the second cour to become Part 2.

With the many chapters of manga still to cover, we’d expect Sakamoto Days season 2 to follow the same pattern if it is renewed.

Where to pick up the Sakamoto Days manga after season 1

Taro Sakamoto and Shin Asakura fighting Mad Horiguchi in Sakamoto Days

Sakamoto Days season 2 would have more wild fights, like that against Mad Horiguchi in season 1. Netflix

With the wrapping up of season 1 with episode 22, the Sakamoto Days anime covers up to chapter 73 of the manga – meaning you should start reading chapter 74 of the manga and onwards if you want to start reading ahead.

There may be some slight crossover with what was covered in episode 22 and after chapter 73, but because Sakamoto Days season 1 essentially ended with kicking off with the Japan Clear Creation arc, it’s better to start from this point for consistency and to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Sakamoto Days streams exclusively on Netflix in the UK, US, and other territories worldwide. At the time of writing, Sakamoto Days is not on Crunchyroll or any other alternative anime streaming services.

Christina Haack Gets Candid About ‘Embarrassment’ of Her ‘3 Failed Marriages’

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

HGTV favorite Christina Haack is reflecting on her “whirlwind” past decade and her three divorces, which she admitted led to a long battle with “embarrassment” and learning to “forgive” herself.

The Flip Off star took to her Instagram page on Sunday (September 28), sharing a car selfie and a lengthy message, thanking fans for “still being here” after her rollercoaster journey, which she said she “decided it was time to get off” in early 2024.

“Since then I’ve gone through many battles with myself and my ego. Biggest battle has been Embarrassment. Embarrassment over allowing myself to be treated certain ways and having 3 failed marriages. Trust me that one hurts and still at times makes me cringe,” she wrote.

Haack was married to her Flip Off co-star Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2016; the pair share two children. After they split, Haack got into a relationship with Ant Anstead, marrying him in 2018 and welcoming a son together in 2019. Haack’s divorce from Anstead was finalized in June 2021, and later that same year, she married Josh Hall.

The Christina in the Country host and Hall filed for divorce in July 2024 after almost three years of marriage. Since then, the exes had been embroiled in an intense legal battle over spousal support and other financial matters, including the selling of Haack’s $4.5 million Tennessee farmhouse. The divorce was finalized earlier this year.

“I’ve had to forgive myself and trust that things happen for a reason. I had to finally look myself in the mirror, do the work (with my amazing life coach) and ultimately decide to take ownership over my choices and most importantly- to forgive myself,” Haack added in her latest post.

The reality star admitted she is “still a work in progress” but noted how she no longer has anxiety. “And this came from self awareness within (not from smoking a toad or trying a quick fix),” she stated.

“I’ve had the wind knocked out of me so many times I’m shocked I’m still happy, motivated, and excited about life. But I am,” Haack contineud. “I’ll credit this to wanting to change, putting in the work to better understand myself, and only surrounding myself with people who are also happy, motivated and genuinely want me to succeed. That last one is SO important.”

In February 2025, Haack went public with her new relationship, sharing an Instagram photo with her new beau, Christopher Larocca, the president and CEO of Network Connex.

“I’ve been tested, humbled, and reminded of what truly matters: my kids (especially communication and them ultimately learning from my mistakes), my inner circle, and NEVER giving up on my dreams!” Haack concluded. “If you’re in the tornado, don’t give up. I promise if you decide to make a change and stick with it, life can truly be peaceful, FUN and free.”

Ronan Day-Lewis’ Debut Suggests Nepotism Is… Good?

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

That a movie like “Anemone” could only have been made by the forces of nepotism that govern it — it’s directed by Ronan Day-Lewis, and co-written by his father and the film‘s star Daniel Day-Lewis — is not something to ignore, but this dark, dense, deep two-hander about the Troubles in Ireland turns out to be quite better than you’d expect from that notion.

Daniel Day-Lewis stars as a former British soldier who defected from the Irish Republican Army after a particularly traumatizing incident involving a dead civilian, with his brother, played by Sean Bean, taking over his life in the process: his wife (Samantha Morton) and son (Samuel Bottomley), who in the present day has become a traumatized beater.

“Anemone” is a miserable movie top to toe, but it’s directed with enough promising skill to suggest actual smarts and talent on the part of its director/writer. Ones that aren’t only linked to its star, who comes back out from the acting retirement hole to deliver a performance that is typically great, with a monologue about taking an actual shit on a priest that formerly abused him (and spared his brother, Sean Bean) that goes up in the Daniel Day-Lewis hall of fame.

Or did he really do that? We are ever meant to question the narrative reliability here. While “Anemone” stutters in its final gasp of breath, with a closing segment that too tidily binds up its prickly narrative branches, the movie does manage to suck you into a whirlpool of pain and suffering that becomes oddly addictive.

“Anemone” isn’t destined for box office gold, despite its star’s seasoned imprimatur, the movie too cold to the touch and reliant on Irish-British history that forces you to listen closely to plot details expounded in drawn-out speeches. It’s scored by Bobby Krilic, aka Ari Aster’s composer Haxan Cloak, with what sounds like the indie-rock acoustic-and-synth tools of someone at the nadir of their life on the cold tile floor of the world’s most depressing bathroom. It’s shot by cinematographer Ben Fordesman with the style and grayed-out flourish of a supernatural horror movie, even as Ray Stoker’s (Daniel Day-Lewis) traumas are completely grounded in the real world. He’s contending with “a crack in the ice that wouldn’t heal over” after fleeing, some years ago, to the woods to live out the rest of his days after being deemed a war criminal by his compatriots.

His brother Jem (Sean Bean) took on duties of caring for Ray’s abandoned wife and child in the process, and now that grown-up son Brian (Bottomley) has himself been conscripted into the military, and was recently sent home for attacking a fellow serviceman for daring to speak his father’s name. Or daring to speak the rumors around him, as Brian is not aware of the fact that the man he thinks is his father is actually his uncle. Ray lives in filth in a hovel outpost in the middle-of-nowhere woods of North England, filthy enough that it’s noticed by Jem, who’s been jettisoned to recover him in order to speak some sense into Brian after his latest brush with pain, that he can barely wipe his own ass. And even refuses to. “You’re going to hell,” Jem tells Ray. “Family reunion!” Ray replies.

“Ever hear about the Troubles?” Nessa (Morton) bluntly asks her son after he brings a box of Ray’s former war correspondences down from the attic. “Anemone” does not proceed to give us a history lesson about the particulars of the thorny battles between Catholics and Protestants, royalists and independents. In fact, if you’re not caught up on your 20th-century European history, “Anemone” might not mean a whole hell of a lot to you, though Ronan Day-Lewis harks back to a bombing that emotionally scarred Ray with spareness and reserve.

There are also shots of Daniel Day-Lewis contemplating his own despair against the flickering flames of a bonfire that will bring “There Will Be Blood” and Daniel Plainview to mind, a man who has built up his hatred little by little over the years, and now has only venom to spew. “I did the crime, and I’m still serving the time,” Ray says at one point amid a spiky, literary screenplay that appreciates the lusciousness of good dialogue.

There is a hallucinatory late sequence in which Ray encounters a translucent dream creature that may or may not resemble his son; then, there is a hailstorm whose ensemble-linking gravitas recalls just a bit too closely that final frog-raining scene in “Magnolia,” a deus ex machina event tacked on to tie the whole thing together, but less pungent here.

While “Anemone,” which effectively captures the feeling of dropping a shot of coffee into your Guinness or the reverse, uppers and downers combined to maximal effect, is often too damp and dreary to a fault, the confidence behind the camera justifies the miserable ends. It’s a movie about lost souls, and how abuse begets further abuse and violence, even as Ray, the self-styled fugitive, has abandoned his life to try and prevent his son from absorbing his worst aspects.

This is a dense, unforgiving movie in the classic sense, an adults-only drama that doesn’t placate despite its stylistic overreaches. It’s disappointing that in its final moments, the movie has come so far off its own hinges, so deconstructed its own rivets, that it can’t put them back together again. But everything that’s come before is so rich that you’re ready to forgive it. The title, by the way, comes from the flowers that bloomed from Ray’s own father’s planting. Ronan Day-Lewis seems to have plucked and pruned the best lessons from them, too.

Grade: B

“Anemone” premiered at the 2025 New York Film Festival. Focus Features releases it Friday, October 3.

Andrew Garfield Not Returning for ‘The Social Network’ Sequel

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Bad news for “The Social Network” fans: Andrew Garfield won’t be reprising his role as Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin in Aaron Sorkin’s follow-up “The Social Reckoning.”

The Oscar-nominated actor, who broke out with his role in “The Social Network” in 2010, was asked by IndieWire at the New York Film Festival if he’ll appear in the upcoming sequel. “No, no,” he said, adding: “Eduardo is in Singapore having a good time.”

After ending on bad terms with his fellow Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg (a rift immortalized on film by Garfield’s scene-stealing “fuck you flip flops” monologue), Saverin emigrated to Singapore in 2009 and caused controversy when he renounced his U.S. citizenship two years later. Though some speculated Saverin made the move to avoid paying taxes, he denied the claim and said it was purely due to his “interest in living and working in Singapore.” In 2015, he co-founded the venture capital firm B Capital and is currently the richest person in Singapore.

Sorkin’s “Social Network” follow-up revealed its title, “The Social Reckoning,” and Oct. 9, 2026 release date on Friday. The Sony Pictures film will star Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen White, Bill Burr and Jeremy Strong, who is taking the reins from Jesse Eisenberg to play Zuckerberg.

Written and directed by Sorkin, “The Social Reckoning” is described as a companion piece to “The Social Network” and takes place two decades after the founding of the platform. It will tell the true story of how Frances Haugen (Madison), a young Facebook engineer, enlists the help of Jeff Horwitz (White), a Wall Street Journal reporter, to go on a dangerous journey that ends up blowing the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets.

Though Garfield won’t be returning to the world of Facebook, he’s set to revisit the tech world in Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming “Artificial,” in which he’s reportedly playing OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Garfield recently collaborated with Guadagnino on the drama “After the Hunt” alongside Julia Roberts and Ayo Edebiri, which just screened at New York Film Festival after premiering at Venice.

Sinclair and Nexstar Boycott of Jimmy Kimmel Live Ends

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

The local TV station boycott of ABC‘s Jimmy Kimmel Live! appears to be ending.

Sinclair and Nexstar each said that they would end preemption of the late night show Friday night.

Sinclair said it made the decision after “thoughtful feedback from viewers, advertisers, and community leaders representing a wide range of perspectives.”

That said, while Sinclair appears to have been seeking notable concessions (including an ombudsman at ABC), a source says that no editorial or content concessions were made by Disney.

“In our ongoing and constructive discussions with ABC, Sinclair proposed measures to strengthen accountability, viewer feedback, and community dialogue, including a network-wide independent ombudsman,” Sinclair said in a statement. “These proposals were suggested as collaborative efforts between the ABC affiliates and the ABC network. While ABC and Disney have not yet adopted these measures, and Sinclair respects their right to make those decisions under our network affiliate agreements, we believe such measures could strengthen trust and accountability.”

Nexstar said that it made the decision after having “had discussions with executives at The Walt Disney Company and appreciate their constructive approach to addressing our concerns.”

It is not clear whether those talks will lead to anything more concrete.

“As a local broadcaster, Nexstar remains committed to protecting the First Amendment while producing and airing local and national news that is fact-based and unbiased and, above all, broadcasting content that is in the best interest of the communities we serve,” Nexstar’s statement continued. “We stand apart from cable television, monolithic streaming services, and national networks in our commitment – and obligation – to be stewards of the public airwaves and to protect and reflect the specific sensibilities of our communities. To be clear, our commitment to those principles has guided our decisions throughout this process, independent of any external influence from government agencies or individuals.”

It was pressure from the station owners Nexstar and Sinclair that initially forced Disney to take Kimmel’s show off-air, with the two companies who collectively control nearly one quarter of all ABC stations saying they were going to preempt the show in the wake of comments he made on the program.

Sinclair is the largest owner of ABC stations, with 38 spread across the country, including in major markets like Washington, D.C., and Seattle.

Disney ultimately brought back the show a few days later, saying that executives “made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.”

However, Sinclair and Nexstar said that they would not be airing Kimmel’s return Tuesday night, reiterating the concerns they had that sparked the initial suspension. The result was that Kimmel’s show was dark in cities like Washington, D.C., New Orleans and Salt Lake City, and nearly one quarter of all households across the country.

Both companies, however, noted that talks continued between them and ABC.

It is worth noting that Nexstar is in the midst of a $6.2 billion deal to acquire Tegna, a deal that if allowed to go through would make it by far the largest owner of local TV stations in the U.S. That deal requires FCC approval. Sinclair, meanwhile, has also said that it wants to engage in M&A, moves that would also require attention from the FCC.

Sinclair says that the FCC did not play a role in its decision.

“Our decision to preempt this program was independent of any government interaction or influence,” the company said. “Free speech provides broadcasters with the right to exercise judgment as to the content on their local stations. While we understand that not everyone will agree with our decisions about programming, it is simply inconsistent to champion free speech while demanding that broadcasters air specific content.”

Of course, the way consumers view their late night shows has changed. Kimmel’s monologue broke his own YouTube viewership record, underscoring that as the primary place where people were engaging with the program.

Coldwater location guide: Where was the ITV thriller filmed?

While it seems they have hit the jackpot, John soon finds himself entangled in a series of horrific acts that he can’t get himself out of. But the events are made all the more worse by the feel of the warm and inviting village and their friendly locals.

With such an impressive backdrop and so much chaos, just where did all the action take place?

Here’s what you need to know about where Coldwater was filmed.

Thankfully, Coldwater is a fictional Scottish town, created just for the show. The location was therefore a composite of areas in and around Glasgow.

Speaking of the decision to set the story there, Ireland explained: “I’ve always loved small towns in Scotland and I’ve always wanted to live in one but never had the chance to.

“I love a lot of small towns in Northern Ireland so Coldwater is my little fantasy. You’ve got the beautiful Church, beautiful coffee shops… it’s an idealised version of rural Scotland.

“Everybody is friendly, and a little bit strange. Everyone knows your business and people don’t seem to judge you, but maybe they do.

“My life bringing up a family in Scotland, I was trying to get away from writing about violence, tribalism and identity and all the issues in my other work, but I couldn’t escape it,” he added.

Eve Myles, who plays John and Fiona’s neighbour Rebecca, also discussed how the setting ties into Ireland’s narrative (via The Mirror).

“I think the lay of the land and the precinct is incredibly important to this because the character John runs away from the hustle and bustle of London and is running away from his problems only to land in the jaw of the biggest monster of his life in this idyllic, beautiful setting that intoxicates us with its beauty and the mystery of it,” she said. “And how ethereal the land is in Scotland, only to find what John and his family find in a tiny, tiny nook of it.

“So it’s about not judging things by its cover but the cover is very enticing and seductive.”

Myles added: “What the show does really well is that it goes against any sorts of expectations and surprises you with those reveals.”

Ewen Bremner, who plays Rebecca’s husband Tommy, went on to talk about the “power” that Scotland holds “in the minds of Southerners, especially in London”, adding: “It has ancient, mythical significance.”

Speaking to The Sunday Post, he said that is was “really pleasurable to see how much Eve, Indira and Andrew fell in love with Glasgow”.

“They just completely fell head over heels,” he continued.

“And we were eating some fantastic food. We’d all very frequently be meeting up after work to have a nice meal.”

Here’s a breakdown of the main areas they used.

Dunlop, East Ayrshire

Dunlop is a small village around 20 miles southeast of Glasgow city. It is where the main external scenes were filmed of Coldwater, and is home to the church, which proves central to the community on the show.

The area prides itself on local produce, including its own cheese shop, as well as a selection of independently owned stores, and of course, the local pub, The Smuggler’s Inn.

Director Lee Haven Jones said of the village: “The key thing for me was to make the place as real as possible. We have to understand why John and Fiona want to live in this rather lovely village, because they’ve come from London and they’re in search of a new life.

“So it was really important that this place felt aspirational, that it was beautiful. But at the same time, it felt very real.”

Glen Fruin and Loch Lomond

For the more scenic scenes, the team used Glen Fruin to capture the picturesque nature of Scotland, with valleys, streams and woodland.

It is located adjacent to Loch Lomond, a freshwater lake that’s part of the Trossachs National Park.

While on the show it is part of the village, in reality it is northwest of Glasgow, and approximately 40 miles north of Dunlop, where the show films its external village scenes.

Coldwater continues on Sunday 28th September at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
