Little Feat Announce Final Tour, Share New Song With Inara George: Listen

More than half a century after forming, roots-rock stalwarts Little Feat have announced the start of their final tour. The Last Farewell Tour kicks off in April with shows across the southern United States, though the band have confirmed a global tour to follow. Scroll down to see Little Feat’s full list of tour dates.

“Playing is the joy and satisfaction of touring, but it comes with the hard part—travel, the endless miles on a bus,” Little Feat shared in a statement. “It’s definitely not an absolute, never-gonna-play again statement.  This wind-down will take several years to accomplish, and while it does, Feat will continue to perform and record as long as they are able. It’s a retirement from the travel of touring.”

The Last Farewell Tour’s lineup will feature founding keyboardist Bill Payne alongside guitarists Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard, bassist Kenny Gradney, percussionist Sam Clayton, and drummer Tony Leone. Paul Barrere, the band’s longtime guitarist and singer, died in 2019.

Little Feat shared their latest album, Strike Up the Band, earlier this year. Alongside the tour announcement, they’ve shared “Feathers and a Smile,” a song written by the band’s late co-founder Lowell George and sung by his daughter, Inara George. Listen to it below.

Radiohead, Dua Lipa Petition UK Government to Cap Ticket Resale Prices

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

A group of more than 40 British musicians, including Radiohead, Dua Lipa, and Coldplay, have signed a statement to the U.K. government asking Prime Minister Keir Starmer to honor his pledge to tackle “extortionate and pernicious” websites that resell concert tickets.

In the statement, artists like Sam Fender, PJ Harvey, The Cure’s Robert Smith, Iron Maiden, New Order, and Nick Cave asked the government to take action against “secondary ticketing” platforms like Viagogo and StubHub.

“For too long certain resale platforms have allowed touts to bulk buy and then resell tickets at inflated prices, forcing fans to either pay above the odds or miss out entirely,” they wrote. “This erodes trust in the live events sector and undermines the efforts of artists and organizers to make shows accessible and affordable.”

The statement asks for a hard cap on on resale prices to “help fix elements of the extortionate and pernicious secondary ticketing market that serve the interests of touts, whose exploitative practices are preventing genuine fans from accessing the music, theatre and sports they love.”

Other signees include organizations like UK Music, FanFair Alliance, and the Football Supporters’ Association. The letter, created in tandem with a study from consumer group Which?, notes that the end of for-profit resale would make it “easier for fans to spot illegal behavior” and would not encourage fans to seek resale tickets on less regulated sites.

“Today’s joint statement makes clear that artists, fan organizations and consumers reject the broken ticketing market that has allowed touts to thrive for too long,” Lisa Webb, Which? consumer law expert, said in a statement alongside the letter. “The Prime Minister pledged to protect fans and a price cap on resold tickets will be a critical step towards fixing this industry, but he must commit to this legislation by including it in the next King’s Speech. Further reforms are also needed to ensure sellers actually own the tickets they advertise before listing them, that resale platforms ensure the identities of sellers and key information about a ticket are verified and that the new rules are effectively enforced.”

Editor’s picks

Starmer’s Labour government promised during the last general election to cap ticket resale prices, however hasn’t taken the necessary action yet. In January, the government launched a consultation on a cap amount that would limit the price increase to between zero and a 30 percent on the face value of a ticket.

Trending Stories

A government spokesperson told the BBC, “This government is fully committed to clamping down on touts and is going further to put fans back at the heart of live events. We have carefully considered evidence provided in response to our consultation earlier this year and will set out our plans shortly.”

Which? also released the results of a consumer study that took place in August and September. The organization looked into traders selling tickets for some of the biggest U.K. events on Stubhub and Viagogo. It found that many resale tickets were aggressively inflated in price. For instance, Oasis tickets for the band’s Wembley Stadium shows were listed for £3,498.85 on Stubhub and £4,442 on Viagogo. A ticket for the All Points East festival in London’s Victoria Park, headlined by Raye, was listed for £114,666 on Viagogo.

AC/DC Shook Melbourne All Night Long, Scientists Confirm

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

AC/DC came to rock the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday night, Nov. 12 and the city felt it.

The opening date of AC/DC’s Power Up tour of Australia made waves that were detected by earthquake monitoring equipment, and could be felt, and heard, deep into this former Olympic City.

According to Adam Pascale, chief scientist at the Seismology Research Centre, the concert registered in the 2-5 hertz range at their office in Richmond, some 2 miles from the concert at the towering MCG.

Explore

See latest videos, charts and news

That’s enough force for people to feel the ground move.

“The sound waves that people were experiencing nearby and feeling something through their bodies, that’s the equivalent to what our seismographs feel,” Pascale told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. A resident some 6 miles away told the ABC they could hear the concert.

“We’re picking up the ground motion, we’re not picking up the sound from the air,” Pascale added.

“So, you’ve got speakers on the ground pumping out vibrations and that gets transmitted through the ground, but also the crowd jumping up and down is feeding energy into the ground.”

Although AC/DC came to rock, the largest signals received by the Seismology Research Centre were generated by Taylor Swift’s record-busting three-night stand at the MCG in 2024, Pascale remarked.

Stadium rock can move us, literally. Oasis’s now-completed tour of Live ’25 tour of Australia (via Live Nation) generated a “clear uptick in seismic signal” when fans “started pounding the ground” at Marvel Stadium during a show earlier in the month, the center confirmed earlier.

AC/DC doesn’t do things by halves. These latest round of shows require 300 tons of steel to build the production, with 28 tons of PA and speakers pumping out the sound. A crew of 155 are working each show, which consumes 500kw of power every night.

With Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney, the Rock Hall-inducted legends ripped out the classics at the MCG, including “Back In Black,” “Thunderstruck,” “Hells Bells,” “Riff Raff” and much more.

AC/DC last toured Australia and New Zealand in 2015, the domestic leg of their Rock or Bust world tour. On that visit, Young and Co. shifted more than 520,000 tickets across 11 coast-to-coast dates, including shows in Auckland and Wellington.

Next up, the second of two shows this Sunday (Nov. 16) at the MCG, followed by dates in Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

TEG Van Egmond, a division of TEG, is producing AC/DC’s nine-date national tour, with special guests Amyl & The Sniffers.

AC/DC 2025 “Power Up” Australia Tour Dates:

Nov. 12 — Melbourne Cricket Ground (completed)

Nov. 16 — Melbourne Cricket Ground

Nov. 21 — Accor Stadium, Sydney

Nov. 25 — Accor Stadium, Sydney

Nov. 30 – Adelaide bp Adelaide Grand Final

Dec. 4 — Optus Stadium, Perth

Dec. 8 — Optus Stadium, Perth

Dec. 14 – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

Dec. 18 – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

On South Park, Donald Trump and JD Vance Consummate Their Relationship

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

OpenAI’s generative AI platform doesn’t have many fans in the creative community, and it seems you can count Trey Stone and Matt Parker among them. The South Park duo largely center this week’s episode, “Sora Not Sorry,” around the AI video platform, with a plot in which Butters ignites a school-wide scandal after seeking revenge on his ex-girlfriend, Red, by using Sora to generate a video of her farting and getting urinated on by Santa.

Red retaliates with a Sora video of her own: one in which Butters is molested by the Studio Ghibli character Totoro, shown during a school assembly. Detective Harrison Yates responds to South Park Elementary and, believing Butters was the victim of an actual assault, attempts to interview him, only to be interrupted by Studio Ghibli creators who threaten Butters with a cease and desist. “It takes hundreds of artists three years to make Totoro. And in two minutes you spit out your shit,” they exclaim. “You cannot just do whatever you want with someone’s IP!”

To Detective Yates’ horror, more Sora-generated videos featuring South Park students begin popping up, including one of Kenny being assaulted by Popeye and another of Droopy Dog pooping into Stan’s mouth. Unable to get any answers, Detectives Yates and his partner, Detective Murphy, decide to try to gain the students’ trust by going undercover dressed as Rocky and Bullwinkle: “We’re getting no cooperation… Kids won’t talk to a cop… We’ve got to go undercover as one of these predators,” they rational.

Related Video

Meanwhile, Peter Thiel — who believes Cartman is the key to ridding Trump of the Antichrist and is thus still holding him hostage — uses Sora to keep Cartman’s mother at ease by sending AI-generated videos of her son. Hilariously, the videos he sends Mrs. Cartman feature early-era South Park references: “I haven’t even talked about Cheese Poofs in five years,” Cartman tells Thiel. “This is the world you live in, kid. Anyone can make you do anything they want,” Thiel responds.

Over at the White House, Donald Trump finally admits to his Vice President, JD Vance, that he doesn’t want Satan’s baby. Their relationship soon crosses a new threshold when they find themselves scheming in a hot tub; one thing leads to another, and POTUS and VPOTUS get hot and heavy to the sounds of Foreigner in the Lincoln Bedroom.

In the final act of the episode, Butters, Stan, and Kyle find themselves in a courtroom with Bluey, who alleges, “They made me do things I’d never normally do.” Butters eventually cops to the truth, blaming Cartman for turning him on to Sora 2. Ever so slightly putting the puzzle together, the detectives decide to trace the videos Thiel has been sending Cartman’s mother, leading to Thiel’s arrest and Cartman’s freedom. “Looks like we just busted a huge community of online predator rapists called Sora 2,” proudly declares Detective Yates.

However, along the way, they also stumble upon video footage from the Lincoln Bedroom of Trump and Vance’s dalliance, stored on Thiel’s computer. “When Fox News sees this, they’re not going to be happy,” Detective Murphy surmises.

Fortunately for Trump, he has a good explanation: “It’s fake — it’s all Sora 2.”

Adele Making Acting Debut In Tom Ford Film

written by jummy84

Adele will make her acting debut in Cry to Heaven, an adaptation of the 1982 Anne Rice novel directed and produced by fashion maven Tom Ford. Production is underway in London and Rome, with a fall 2026 release in the offing.

Set in 18th century Venice amid a backdrop of opera, Cry to Heaven will also star Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Colin Firth, Paul Bettany and Mark Strong. It’d Ford’s third film, following the 2009 Oscar-nominated, Firth-starring A Single Man and 2016’s Nocturnal Animals.

Adele has kept a low profile since concluding a 10-show summer 2024 residency at Munich’s Sonderfreifläche Messe. The run sold more than 730,000 tickets, setting a new record for any concert residency outside of Las Vegas.

Afterwards, she told German broadcaster ZDF that she’d be taking a “big break” from performing. The U.K. superstar’s latest album, 2021’s 30, topped charts around the world and is certified for U.S. shipments of three million copies, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

Ja Rule Believes His Beef With 50 Cent Was Bad For New York Hip-Hop

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Ja Rule recently opened up about one of Hip-Hop’s most infamous feuds, expressing his belief that the heated rivalry between himself and 50 Cent during the late ’90s and early ’00s created a divide that ultimately negatively impacted the New York Hip-Hop scene.

Appearing on Carmelo Anthony’s 7PM in Brooklyn With Carmelo Anthony podcast, the Queens native reflected on how their animosity—once the center of rap’s most polarizing drama—did more harm than good for the culture that raised them.

“Look at Kendrick and Drake,” Ja said, referencing the various fallouts behind the two rap titans’ fiery battle. “Nothing good is coming out of any of these things.”

Drawing a direct comparison between today’s lyrical wars and his own with 50 Cent, Ja reflected on how their feud fractured the unity that once defined New York’s rap landscape. “Me and 50’s sh*t, that sh*t f**ked up New York Hip-Hop. It really did because it separated a lot of ni**as in New York.”

Ja’s honesty painted a picture of a man looking back on his legacy with both pride and perspective. Though acknowledging the damage their feud caused, he didn’t shy away from his competitive nature. “I feel like I was the better rapper,” Ja said.

“I felt like I made the better records. I feel like my records aged better, still. So, that’s how I feel inside. I don’t know how everybody else feels.”

Yet even amid self-assurance, Rule extended a nod of respect to his longtime rival. “At the end of the day, you’ve gotta kinda love both or you gotta kinda respect both,” the “Always on Time” rapper said of himself and 50.

“You don’t gotta love both, but you gotta respect both. You gotta appreciate both, and that’s just what it is. Even in rap competitions and battles and beefs and sh*t like that, I have a very different take on it than everybody does. He has a take on it that was his take.”

50 Cent

The rivalry between Ja Rule and 50 Cent was one of the most intense in Hip-Hop history, marked by diss tracks, public confrontations, and even real-life altercations.

Though both men achieved immense success, their battle symbolized a turning point—one that, as Ja now admits, left lasting cracks in the city’s once-unified rap foundation.

San Jose’s Not So Silent Night Abruptly Canceled

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

This year was supposed to mark the return of Not So Silent Night, the once-annual modern rock event that went down in the Bay Area each winter holiday season from 1991 to 2019. But today Live 105, the radio station that’s hosted the big gig, announced that Not So Silent Night 2025 has been canceled. No further explanation was provided.

This year’s Not So Silent Night was scheduled for December 14, set to feature Sublime, Evanescence, Wet Leg, the Paradox, and Yellowcard. It would’ve also been the first Not So Silent Night since the broadcasting company Audacy relaunched Live 105 back in 2023; the popular alt-rock station endured a botched rebranding effort, including a pivot to adult hits, before Audacy brought it back to its usual alt-focused format.

“We know this is disappointing news, and we truly regret that we won’t be able to bring the show to you this year,” Live 105 wrote in their announcement.

NewJeans to Return to Label Following Legal Dispute

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

K-pop group NewJeans have announced that they will return to record label Ador following a prolonged legal dispute. In a statement to Pitchfork, Ador—an imprint of Hybe—said that members Hyein and Haerin had “decided to respect the court’s latest ruling and adhere to their exclusive contract.” The group’s other members, Hanni, Danielle, and Minji, subsequently confirmed that they would be returning to the label as well, BBC News reports.

Hanni, Danielle, and Minji shared that their decision was made “after careful discussion” and “was relayed late as one member is currently in Antarctica, but as [Ador] is not responding at the moment, we are inevitably announcing this through a separate statement.” They added, “We will continue greeting you with sincere music and performances.”

NewJeans first announced their intention to split from Ador last year, after the dismissal of label CEO and the group’s mentor, Min Hee-Jin. Its members then accused the label of mistreatment, with singer Hanni alleging multiple instances of workplace harassment. NewJeans also attempted to rebrand to NJZ in an effort to work around their exclusivity deal with Ador; however, a Seoul court ruled that the group had failed to prove significant negligence on the part of the label.

At a concert last March, NewJeans announced that they would be indefinitely pausing all band activities. In June, a South Korean high court ruled—in a decision that was upheld by a Seoul district court last month—that the group would have to honor their seven-year contract with Ador, which extends through 2029. At the time, a legal representative for NewJeans told Rolling Stone that the group planned to appeal October’s ruling.

Ador’s statement to Pitchfork continued, “[Ador] is committed to providing its full support to [Haerin] and [Hyein] to ensure the seamless continuation of their artistic endeavors. We request the warm support from the fans and respectfully urge you to avoid engaging in unfounded speculation regarding the members.”

The Osbournes reveal Ozzy was secretly hospitalised two weeks before final gig

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

The Osbournes have revealed that the late Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne was secretly hospitalised just two weeks before his final concert.

  • READ MORE: Ozzy Osbourne, 1948-2025: culture-smashing revolutionary that redefined rock and reality TV

The Prince of Darkness passed away in July at the age of 76, just 17 days after he played one final show as the frontman of Black Sabbath at a concert at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Now, in the first episode of The Osbournes Unfiltered podcast since Ozzy’s passing, Sharon, Kelly and Jack remembered the metal pioneer, revealing several unknown things about his final year.

While Ozzy had long been battle a number of medical conditions and setbacks – including Parkinson’s Disease – Jack shared that “things started getting worse” in the first week of December last year, when Ozzy “took a little fall”.

Later on in the podcast episode, the family opened up to reveal that Ozzy had been hospitalised just two weeks before his final concert with Black Sabbath, and no one knew. Reflecting on Ozzy’s hospitalisation.

While they didn’t reveal why Ozzy was hospitalised in that instance, Sharon turned to Jack with a funny story: “The story, I don’t think even you know it, we had him in the hospital and we were just terrified that people were going to find out.”

“So we had all the security and the hospital – the hospital was amazing, they really were – the people at the front desk were told ‘nobody, if they ask for Ozzy, he’s not here. Nobody’s allowed up’, all of that. They had pictures of all of us who were allowed up, and names, and this guy comes up and says ‘I want to see John Osbourne (Ozzy’s legal name)’ so of course there’s a red light and they go ‘who are you?’ and he goes ‘I’m his brother.’”

“So they call up to the security, and they say ‘Ozzy’s brother is here,’” Sharon continued. “‘He’s asked to see him. He knows he’s here.’ I’m like, there’s no way, his brother doesn’t even know he’s in here. His sisters, his brother didn’t know. So I sent security down and I said ‘find out who this guy is, he’s definitely from the press.’”

“They’re not the most polite in the world, they’re the most threatening. This guy kept saying ‘He’s my brother, he knows I’m coming.’ After harassing this poor man, there was [another] John Osbourne in the hospital, and it was his brother. We felt so terrible.”

Osbourne had experienced a number of health issues in recent years, including a 2019 fall that aggravated an earlier spinal injury, requiring numerous surgeries. In addition to suffering pneumonia and a longstanding infection, he had also been diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s.

Recently, Jack Osbourne said the final Black Sabbath show became a “living wake” for his late father Ozzy Osbourne. Speaking to Good Morning America he shared his memories of being present for the final show. “Before he went on stage, I ran back into the dressing room and I just gave him a big hug and I just kissed him and I just said, ‘Crush it, you’re going to do so good’,” he explained.

“I was in the crowd and I was with my brother and we both were just crying – it wasn’t because of feeling sorry for him, it wasn’t because we were sad for him, I think it was because we knew it was the last time…In hindsight, it kind of was a living wake, if you think about it. He got to say goodbye to everyone.”

The final stage of Osbourne’s life has been captured in the new BBC documentary Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, which is available to watch on the BBC iPlayer for UK viewers here.

In poignant scenes at the end of the doc, Ozzy reflects on the experience of playing in front of 44,000 people for one final time. “The only thing I really got… what was terribly frustrating for me, I had to sit there instead of running across the stage,” he said. “That was fucking torture, because I wanted to get off that [chair] so much.”

He continued: “It was very humbling, to sit in that chair for nine songs. What a great way to go out, that gig was.”

Another new documentary, Ozzy: No Escape From Now, details the Prince Of Darkness’ final six years is available to stream on Paramount+ now. Osbourne’s memoir Last Rites was also published in October and included Ozzy speaking about a heart problem days before his passing and how the late Friends actor Matthew Perry once attended AA meetings at the Osbourne’s house.
