What do we have here? Invada Films has debuted an official UK trailer for a survival thriller indie film titled Game, made by filmmaker John Minton as his feature directorial debut. Not to be confused with the Gerard Butler video game action movie Gamer from 2009. Game is a thriller set during the ’90s British rave scene, where two men, one a thief and one a poacher, must use their wits to survive after a car crash in the woods. It’s produced by Geoff Barrow of the band Portishead, trying out something new. Starring Marc Bessant & Jason Williamson. The official UK premiere will be on October 16th at the opening night of Mayhem Film Festival in Nottingham, before the film hits UK theaters in November. Though still no US release set yet for this one. The film looks like some funky experimental indie horror creation, mixing nature and raves and psychological mania and more. What’s going on with these blokes in the forest? Keep an eye out for it…

Here’s the official UK trailer (+ poster) for John Minton’s film Game, from YouTube (via Live for Films):

Game Film Trailer

Game Film Poster

Late summer 1993. After stealing a stash of money and drugs, aging raver David (Marc Bessant) crashes his car deep in the woods – trapped in the wreckage, injured and helpless, he hangs suspended between life & death. When a mysterious poacher (Jason Williamson) discovers him, no rescue comes, only a watchful, unsettling presence that seems intent on letting nature finish the job. As the hours stretch and the elements close in, a tense and claustrophobic battle of wills, and wits, unfolds – where survival hinges on outlasting both the wilderness and the predator at its edge. Game is directed by British filmmaker John Minton, making his feature directorial debut with this new project. The screenplay is co-written by Geoff Barrow, Marc Bessant, John Minton, and Rob Williams. It’s produced by Geoff Barrow & Deborah Rawlings. This is premiering at a few small festivals before it hits theaters. Invada Films will debut Minton’s Game film in UK cinemas starting November 21st, 2025 this fall. No US release date is set yet – stay tuned. Who’s curious?

Taylor Swift confirmed that TS12 is on the way! With her 12th studio album in the works, Swifties everywhere are eagerly awaiting the track list, nickname, and whether she’ll return to the stage. Meanwhile, she’s also planning to drop a new concert film, Showgirl, in theaters in October.

In a September 19, 2025, Instagram post, Taylor teased that it was “time [for her] to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan…”

As we get updates from the mastermind herself, Hollywood Life has gathered everything we know so far about Taylor’s new album below.

What Is Taylor Swift’s New Album Title?

Taylor’s 12th album is titled The Life of a Showgirl. She announced the name during a teaser from her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast past midnight on August 12, 2025.

When Does TS12 The Life of a Showgirl Come Out? Release Date

Taylor revealed that her next album will be out on October 3, 2025.

How to Watch the ‘New Heights’ Podcast

Jason and Kelce drop new episodes of their “New Heights” podcast on Wednesdays via YouTube. The August 13, 2025, episode was released at 7 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. PT.

In another clip from the podcast episode, Taylor was seen holding up a briefcase with her initials, T.S., on it, as Jason said, “What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it. What’s in it?” Taylor then replied, “This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl,” as Jason cheered in excitement.

Is Taylor Swift Engaged to Travis Kelce?

Yes — Taylor and Travis confirmed their engagement on August 26, 2025, via a joint Instagram post that showed Travis proposing in a garden full of roses, with the playful caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Is Taylor Swift Going Back on Tour for Life of a Showgirl?

Taylor has not mentioned a tour for The Life of a Showgirl, but Swifties have faith that she’ll plan one. Besides, her last one, The Eras Tour, was a massive hit around the world, so touring for her next album is likely in the cards.

Previously, a source informed Us Weekly that Taylor told her team to “give her one year” to make a decision about touring because “a lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis.”

“She had such a great experience on Eras. She really wants to do it again,” the insider told the outlet in December 2024. “She loves being with all her fans; it inspires her. … She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”

The Life of a Showgirl Tracklist Revealed

The tracklist for The Life of a Showgirl album was unveiled by Taylor in an Instagram post right as her “New Heights” podcast appearance aired on August 13. The tracklist is as follows:

  1. “The Fate of Ophelia”
  2. “Elizabeth Taylor”
  3. “Opalite”
  4. “Father Figure”
  5. “Eldest Daughter”
  6. “Ruin the Friendship”
  7. “Actually Romantic”

“How to cancel Disney+” became a major online search in September 2025 for a few reasons — one of them being ABC’s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! While not all users cited this as their motive, many complained that they couldn’t even terminate their accounts in the first place.

Below, find out the necessary steps to cancel a Disney+ subscription.

How to Cancel a Disney+ Subscription (According to Disney+)

The following are steps on how to cancel a Disney+ subscription if you’re billed directly by Disney+, according to the website.

  1. Log in to your Disney+ account through a computer or mobile browser
  2. Select your Profile
  3. Select Account
  4. Select your Disney+ subscription under Subscription
  5. Select Cancel Subscription

However, if you signed up for Disney+ through a third-party billing partner, cancelation methods vary.

Subscribers can also try contacting Disney’s customer support.

In September 2025, numerous online commenters claimed they were unable to easily cancel their subscriptions. A Reddit thread labeled, “Am I the only one that can’t cancel a Disney+ subscription?” started the conversation. Meanwhile, commenters across multiple media platforms, such as YouTube and Instagram, complained they too couldn’t quickly cancel their Disney+ subscriptions because the platform struggled to load properly.

How to Cancel a Disney+ Bundle Subscription

Canceling a Disney+ bundled or add-on subscription follows the same protocol as long as you’re billed directly by Disney+ and not through a third-party.

— Dr. Shade (@drshadetree) September 18, 2025

Why Do People Want to Cancel Their Disney+ Now?

Disney+ subscribers are canceling their accounts for a variety of reasons. One of them is the price increase. The previous Disney+ basic plan with ads cost $7.99 per month, which was updated to $9.99 per month. The no-ads model also hiked $2 from $13.99 to $15.99 per month in 2024. The Disney+ and Hulu bundle with ads costs $10.99 per month, and the no-ads “premium” bundle subscription is $19.99.

Other subscribers threatened to cancel their Disney+ accounts after Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by ABC, which is owned by the Walt Disney Company. The news came on September 17, 2025, when a spokesperson from ABC said, “Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be pre-empted indefinitely.”

Kimmel and Disney have yet to publicly comment on the situation, but it quickly caused division between right-wing and left-wing Americans.

“I’ve spent my entire life trying to escape… But after a few years, my life turned to shame… Maybe I could earn a second chance.” Apple TV has debuted another chilling full-length trailer for the forest fire thriller The Lost Bus, made by acclaimed director Paul Greengrass. After premiering at TIFF (to very positive reviews), it’s opening in theaters first this weekend – before streaming on Apple TV+ in October. Inspired by real events, The Lost Bus is a white-knuckle ride into one of the scariest wildfires as a school bus driver (played by Matthew McConaughey) and school teacher (America Ferrera) save 22 children from the inferno. It also explores what went wrong in California’s Camp Fire in 2018, America’s deadliest wildfire in a century (85 were killed), and how to prevent future tragedies, also including the story of a bus driver & school teacher who helped kids through the blaze. In addition to McConaughey & Ferrera, the cast includes Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson, and Spencer Watson. Yet another haunting forest fire movie following Kosinski’s Only the Brave (in 2017) and Rebuilding Paradise about this same fire. This is the best trailer yet – better than other official trailer! Looking like it might actually be damn good. Greengrass delivering again.

Which Series Were Taken Off the Air? – Hollywood Life

2025 has been a tough year for television, with networks cutting back on fan-favorite series and audiences saying goodbye to beloved characters. The list of canceled shows continues to grow, and CBS has led the pack with some of the most surprising decisions, most notably the cancellation of S.W.A.T. Executive producer and showrunner Andrew Dettmann called the S.W.A.T. cancellation “heartbreaking news,” telling Deadline at the time that the cast and crew were ” an extraordinary group of people who have all worked so hard and have been so dedicated for all these eight seasons, overcoming countless challenges.” ABC also shook late-night TV when it announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live! would be suspended “indefinitely,” though the network stopped short of calling it a full cancellation.

Below, take a look at the growing list of TV shows that have been canceled in 2025.

S.W.A.T

In March, the S.W.A.T. cast and crew assembled to rally support to potentially bring their show back. After all, this wasn’t the first time that CBS had canceled the program. Series lead Shemar Moore took to Instagram and thanked fans but noted that he’s “no quitter.”

“SWAT IS CANCELED…. AGAIN!!!” Shemar captioned an Instagram post. “After 8 seasons… CANCELED… maybe this time for good!!! But my momma didn’t raise NO QUITTER!!! No Matter what, I AM GRATEFUL n THANKFUL!!! Almost 31 years in this game of Hollywood… JOURNEY OF A DREAMER!!! To my Homies, Fans, Baby Girls, SWAT CREW, and Hollywood…. I say THANK YOU!!!! And “FILL THE GAPS n STAY LIQUID… ROLL SWAT” [sic]!!!!”

FBI: International

Along with S.W.A.T, CBS axed any future for FBI: International. Deadline attributed its cancelation to the network making room for other shows still on the air.

FBI: Most Wanted

On top of International, CBS also canceled FBI: Most Wanted.

The Neighborhood

After eight seasons on the air, CBS announced that The Neighborhood will conclude. CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach commented on the news, per Variety, and noted that the “brilliant cast and creative team” had “brought levity, laughter and poignant storylines to Monday nights for seven incredible seasons.”

Despite being a “strong ratings performer for CBS and one of the top comedies on TV,” Amy concluded that they believed “loyal fans deserve a proper farewell season full of the trademark humor and heartfelt moments that are synonymous with the series.”

Poppa’s House

After just one season, Poppa’s House was axed by CBS in April 2025. Series star Damon Wayans shared via Instagram, “Though Poppa’s House is coming to a close, I’m walking away with deep gratitude, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable memories. This show gave me more than I could’ve ever imagined. To everyone who watched, supported, and believed in us thank you. Your love means everything. On to the next chapter, with nothing but love in my heart.”

The Old Man

Hulu shocked fans when it canceled The Old Man following two seasons. The Jeff Bridges-led show was not renewed for a third season after production was paused several times, according to Deadline.

Night Court

Why Was 'Night Court' Canceled? Find Out the Reason
NBC

Right after its season 3 finale aired — which featured a Big Bang Theory reunion between Melissa Rauch and Simon Helberg — NBC canceled Night Court.

Suits LA

NBC gutted the Suits spinoff Suits LA right before its season 1 finale had the chance to air. The show was led by Stephen Amell, who played Ted Black, an ex-New York City prosecutor-turned Los Angeles entertainment lawyer.

FBI: Most Wanted

The drama series FBI: Most Wanted ran for six seasons before coming to an end in May 2025.

According to Deadline, CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach shared in May 2025, “Ultimately those deals and the shows just weren’t penciling out for us for an economic perspective.”

The Wheel of Time

Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time was not renewed for a season 4 and was canceled in May 2025, one month after its season 3 finale aired. According to Deadline, the reason behind its cancellation was financial. Despite previously being one of the streamer’s most successful and top-rated series, its viewership declined in season 3.

The Equalizer

The Equalizer, starring Queen Latifah, was officially canceled by CBS in May 2025 after five seasons. The reimagining of the classic crime series premiered in 2021 and was a consistent performer for the network in its early years.

The Irrational

NBC’s The Irrational was canceled in May 2025 after two seasons. The procedural, starring Jesse L. Martin as a behavioral science expert, premiered in fall 2023 and maintained modest ratings through its run.

Duster

After just one season on HBO Max, Duster was canceled. The short-lived series received positive reviews and starred Red, White & Royal Blue‘s Rachel Hilson and Yellowstone‘s Josh Holloway.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert‘s decade-long-running comedy series, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, was officially axed by CBS amid its parent company Paramount Global’s merger with Skydance Media and after CBS’ $16 million settlement with Donald Trump. CBS insisted in a statement that the cancelation was a “financial decision.” Stephen’s show will end in May 2026.

E! News

After more than 30 years on the air, NBCU canceled E! News, The Hollywood Reporter reported on July 24. The entertainment news television series will end on September 25 of this year.

Resident Alien

Resident Alien, which first premiered on Syfy in 2021, has been officially canceled. The USA Network announced in July 2025 that the show will conclude with its fourth season, bringing the series to a close on August 8, 2025.

“I knew going into it that this was likely going to be our final season,” creator and showrunner Chris Sheridan told TV Insider.

And Just Like That

Showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed on August 1 that And Just Like That will end following the season 3 finale.

“And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end,” King wrote in his statement. “While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12.”

After two seasons on Disney+, Goosebumps was canceled by the streamer, according to Variety. The outlet further reported that series producer Sony Pictures Television intends to shop the show around to other platforms.

“You’re disgusting – these are my work clothes!” HBO Max has revealed the first official trailer for a kooky comedy series called The Chair Company, co-created by the comedy writers Tim Robinson & Zach Kanin (both worked for “SNL” for years). So this sees to be the spiritual sequel to the hilarious Friendship movie from earlier this year? The series stars Tim Robinson as a man who investigates a far-reaching conspiracy after an embarrassing workplace incident. The main cast includes Lake Bell, Sophia Lillis, Will Price, Joseph Tudisco, & Lou Diamond Phillips. With episodes directed by Andrew DeYoung, director of the film Friendship. So what did he discover? They don’t reveal in here – would could it be? This reminds me of a Charlie Kaufman comedy, it has very similar vibes to Being John Malkovich or even a bit of Boots Riley’s Sorry to Bother You. I hope it gets crazier & crazier as it goes on! Ready to watch and find out later this fall.

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for HBO Max’s series The Chair Company, direct from YouTube:

Featuring episodes directed by Andrew DeYoung and Aaron Schimberg. Made by Wolfmask, Inc., Zanin Corp, Hyperobject Industries. Executive produced by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, Adam McKay and Todd Schulman for HyperObject Industries, plus Andrew DeYoung, and Igor Srubshchik. How Much Money the Singer Has Today – Hollywood Life

d4vd — born David Anthony Burke — quickly rose from uploading songs in his sister’s closet to becoming one of music’s fastest-rising stars with viral hits like “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” By 2025, the Houston-raised artist had dropped his debut album, toured internationally, and built a devoted fan base. But his career has also faced turbulence this year after shocking headlines linked his name to a police investigation, putting his future under scrutiny.

Learn more about him and his net worth below.

Who Is d4vd?

Born in Queens, New York, in 2005, d4vd grew up in Houston, Texas, where he first began experimenting with music. He started uploading songs recorded in his sister’s closet and quickly found a platform on TikTok, where his moody, lo-fi tracks struck a chord with Gen Z listeners. His breakout singles “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me” went viral on the app in 2022, racking up millions of streams and catapulting him into the mainstream. That momentum led to a deal with Darkroom and Interscope Records.

By 2025, d4vd had released his debut album Withered, solidifying his reputation as one of alternative pop’s rising stars.

Before mainstream fame, d4vd gained traction in the Fortnite community by pairing his tracks with gameplay clips. In September 2025, he came full circle by teaming up with Epic Games to release “Locked & Loaded,” the game’s first official anthem.

“Fortnite has been such a big part of my life and it’s what led me to make music in the first place,” he told Variety in an interview published on September 4, 2025. “Being able to create the official anthem for Fortnite feels like a true full-circle moment. Fortnite gave me a space to be creative and connect with people all over the world, and that same energy is what I wanted to put into this track.”

He continued, “It’s more than a song—it’s me giving back to something that’s shaped my story as an artist. And even now, playing Fortnite is still my true passion.”

What Is d4vd’s Net Worth in 2025?

Estimates of d4vd’s net worth for 2025 generally put him at around $2 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

However, his financial future has come under scrutiny in light of recent headlines. In September 2025, police discovered the body of missing teenager Celeste Rivas in a Tesla registered to the singer, sparking a homicide investigation. As a result, several of his scheduled appearances have been affected, including a planned show in Seattle on September 17, which was canceled. According to TMZ, major brands have also pulled promotional content featuring d4vd, while some collaborators have distanced themselves from the singer.

Despite the controversy, a spokesperson confirmed that d4vd remains on his Withered World Tour and is “fully cooperating with the authorities.”

New Trailer for ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’ 4K Re-Release for its 40th Anniversary

by Alex Billington
September 18, 2025
Source: YouTube

“All I can remember… is the seven of us always together.” Sony Pictures has revealed a brand new trailer to celebrate the 40th Anniversary re-release of the 80s classic film St. Elmo’s Fire, a story about life and love and friendship made by Joel Schumacher. This is a big favorite among Gen Xers, an important film for the time – first released in June 1985. The Brat Pack is BACK. Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of St. Elmo’s Fire, newly restored in 4K and back in select theaters starting on October 17th this fall. A group of friends, just out of college, struggle with adulthood. Seven friends – Alec, Billy, Jules, Kevin, Kirby, Leslie, Wendy – are trying to navigate through life & their friendships following graduation from Washington DC’s Georgetown University while often at their ol’ dive known as St. Elmo’s Bar. Starring Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Emilio Estevez, Mare Winningham, Andie MacDowell. Critics don’t seem to like this film much. One review states that the film reminds “us that the eighties were far, far worse than any of us can recall today, and by helping these monsters get their careers off the ground, we will be paying for our sins for decades to come.” Ouch! They’re not so bad. Anyone else enjoy this movie?

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Joel Schumacher’s film St. Elmo’s Fire, direct from YouTube:

St. Elmo's Fire Poster

The hottest young actors of the day star in this film about seven friends, recent college grads, searching for a place in “the real world,” as they face the issues of career & commitment. Leslie & Alex (Ally Sheedy & Judd Nelson) try to save a crumbling romance. Wendy (Mare Winningham), a shy virgin, hides a love for Billy (Rob Lowe), a reluctant father still searching for goals. Kevin (Andrew McCarthy) is a cynical writer who scorns love until he realizes he’s in love with his best friend’s girl. Kirbo (Emilio Estevez), law student, obsessively pursues an older woman. The beautiful, neurotic Jules (Demi Moore) paints a poignant picture of life in the fast lane. Against the backdrop of St. Elmo’s, their local hang-out, they save, betray and love one another as only the closest friends can. St. Elmo’s Fire is directed by filmmaker Joel Schumacher, his sixth feature film at the time after making D.C. Cab (1983) and before making The Lost Boys (1987). The screenplay is by Joel Schumacher & Carl Kurlander. This first opened in theaters in late June, 1985 during the summer – earning a solid $37M at the box office during its run. Sony will re-release Schumacher’s St. Elmo’s Fire film in 4K in select US theaters starting October 17th, 2025 this fall. Any big fans of this one?

For more than two decades, Jimmy Kimmel has been a fixture in late-night television, fronting Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC since 2003. His sharp humor and hosting skills have made him a go-to personality not just for his nightly show but also for major events like the Oscars and the Emmys. In September 2025, Kimmel picked up a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Game Show thanks to his work on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Yet the win came at a turbulent moment: ABC moved to suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live! after backlash over his comments about Tyler Robinson, the suspect accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The decision has thrown his future into question. The decision sparked strong reactions. “Some of the sickest conduct possible,” said FCC Chair Brendan Carr, who praised ABC affiliates like Nexstar for pulling the show. “We at the FCC are going to force the public interest obligation. There are broadcasters out there that don’t like it, they can turn in their license in to the FCC,” he added.

With his show on hold, many are now curious about the late-night star’s salary, career earnings, and overall net worth. Find out more below.

What Is Jimmy Kimmel’s Net Worth in 2025?

As of 2025, Jimmy Kimmel’s net worth is estimated at around $50 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

His decades-long career in late night, combined with hosting major events like the Oscars and producing other TV projects, has made him one of the wealthiest figures in comedy. Despite his show’s current suspension, Kimmel’s long run on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and steady stream of side projects have cemented his financial success.

What Is Jimmy Kimmel’s Salary From ABC?

Kimmel reportedly earns $15 million per year for hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC.

What Did Jimmy Kimmel Say?

Kimmel sparked backlash after his monologue comments about Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old suspect accused of killing Kirk. On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host accused “many in MAGA land” of trying to “capitalize on the murder of Charlie Kirk” and said conservatives were “desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them” in order to score political points.

An ABC spokesperson confirmed on September 17 that Kimmel’s show “will be pre-empted indefinitely” over the comments.

But prior to his monologue, Kimmel had posted a more somber message on social media. “Instead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it is horrible and monstrous to shoot another human? On behalf of my family, we send love to the Kirks and to all the children, parents and innocents who fall victim to senseless gun violence,” he wrote.
