Simu Liu & Melissa Barrera in ‘The Copenhagen Test’ Official Trailer

“From this moment forward, your life is mine.” What would you do if they were watching your life through your eyes? Peacock revealed an official trailer for a sci-fi thriller streaming series called The Copenhagen Test, which will be launching on Peacock at the end of December just before New Years. A first-generation Chinese-American analyst realizes his brain’s been hacked, allowing access to his senses and vision. Some kind of “wifi signal in his head” broadcasting it to some other secret organization or criminals or whoever. Stuck between the agency and hackers, he must act normal to reveal the culprits and find out who is tracing him. Simu Liu stars as Alexander Hale, with Melissa Barrera, Sinclair Daniel, Brian d’Arcy James, Mark O’Brien, and Kathleen Chalfant; along with Saul Rubinek and Hannah Cruz. This reminds me of the movie Source Code. The title is apparently a reference to this idea: The Copenhagen Interpretation, developed by Bohr and Heisenberg, is the foundational understanding of quantum mechanics stating that particles lack definite properties (like position or momentum) until measured, existing in “superpositions”. Very interesting – although I have to say this does look a bit too TV show cheesy for my tastes. Have a look.

Here’s the full official trailer for Peacock’s thriller series The Copenhagen Test, from YouTube:

The Copenhagen Test Series

This new espionage thriller series follows first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Simu Liu) who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees & hears. Caught between his shadowy agency & unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies. The Copenhagen Test is a series created and written by the screenwriter Thomas Brandon, mainly of The CW series “Legacies” previously. With writing by Adam Benic, Jamie Chan, Marilyn Fu, Hannah Rosner, and Thomas Brandon. Featuring episodes directed by Nima Nourizadeh, Kevin Tancharoen, and Jet Wilkinson. Showrun by Thomas Brandon and Jennifer Yale. Executive produced by Thomas Brandon, Jennifer Yale, James Wan, Michael Clear, Rob Hackett, Mark Winemaker, Jet Wilkinson, Simu Liu. NBC will debut The Copenhagen Test series streaming on Peacock starting December 27th, 2025 right at the end of this year. Who’s intrigued? Look any good?

Get ready for a major throwback — Hannah Montana first aired nearly 20 years ago, and the beloved Disney Channel series is still making headlines in 2025. Premiering on March 24, 2006, the show became a global phenomenon and launched Miley Cyrus into international stardom as Miley Stewart, the teen living a secret double life as pop star Hannah Montana.

Miley was just 12 years old when she stepped into the role, and nearly two decades later, she and the rest of the cast are fully grown, living wildly different lives from their Disney days. Miley has openly reflected on her journey over the years — including in her emotional 2023 single “Used To Be Young,” where she looked back on her “wild” younger years with honesty and nostalgia.

With the show’s 20th anniversary approaching in 2026, Miley recently addressed reboot rumors. She told Billboard that she doesn’t see a traditional revival happening — “this is the only Hannah,” she said — but teased that she does want to do something special to honor the milestone.

Now 33 and recently engaged to musician Maxx Morando, Miley continues to be a major force in entertainment with new music and visual projects. Meanwhile, Hannah Montana remains as popular as ever, with all episodes currently streaming on Disney+ for anyone ready to relive the magic. Find out what the cast is up to these days.

Miley Cyrus became a global star and teen idol when she began playing Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel series in 2006. The show ran for 4 seasons and ended in 2011. Miley also portrayed the character in the 2009 film, Hannah Montana: The Movie.

Since leaving Disney, Miley has built a hugely successful music career with albums including Bangerz, Plastic Hearts, and Endless Summer Vacation, as well as chart-topping singles like “The Climb,” “Party in the U.S.A.,” “Wrecking Ball,” and “Flowers.” In August 2023, she released the reflective single “Used to Be Young,” where she looked back on her “wild” younger years. She has continued releasing new material, including her 2025 visual album Something Beautiful, which earned strong critical attention.

Miley has also continued acting, starring in 2010’s The Last Song — where she met Liam Hemsworth — and returning to the screen for an episode of Black Mirror in 2019. She also served as a coach on The Voice for two seasons.

Her personal life has been equally high-profile. Miley and Liam dated on and off starting in 2009, got engaged in 2012, split in 2013, reunited in 2016, and married in 2018 before divorcing in 2020. Over the years, she has also been linked to Patrick Schwarzenegger, Stella Maxwell, and Cody Simpson, and publicly came out as pansexual in 2015.

Today, Miley is in a long-term relationship with musician Maxx Morando, whom she began dating in 2021. In late 2025, the couple became engaged.

Billy Ray Cyrus

Billy Ray Cyrus — who is Miley Cyrus’ real-life father — played her on-screen dad, Robby Ray Stewart, on Hannah Montana. He became one of the show’s core figures throughout its 2006–2011 run. During his time on the show, he even competed on Dancing With the Stars season 4, finishing in 5th place. Following the end of Hannah Montana, Billy Ray continued releasing music — dropping five studio albums — and later starred in the CMT sitcom Still the King from 2016 to 2017.

His career saw a major renaissance in 2019 when he appeared on Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” remix, which went on to break records with a 14× platinum certification in 2021 — making it one of the most awarded singles in RIAA history.

In 2020, Billy Ray told HollywoodLife there had been talks of a Hannah Montana prequel centered around Robby Ray, joking that he’d jump at the chance to bring back his iconic mullet. Although the prequel never moved forward, interest in the show has surged again as its 20th anniversary approaches.

On the personal side, Billy Ray married Australian singer Firerose in 2023, but the relationship was short-lived. The pair filed for divorce in 2024, and the split was finalized in 2025 after months of public tension and legal back-and-forth.

Emily Osment

Emily Osment starred as Lilly Truscott — best friend to Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana — on the hit Disney Channel series and appeared in Hannah Montana: The Movie. After the show ended, she built a diverse acting career across film and television.

Osment’s early post-Disney work included family and teen films like The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About It, Dadnapped, Cyberbully, and Christmas Wonderland. She gained broader visibility with her lead role on the Freeform sitcom Young & Hungry (2014–2018), and later starred in the Fox drama Almost Family, which ran for one season.

On television, Emily has had notable recurring roles on acclaimed series like The Kominsky Method and Mom, displaying her range across comedy and drama. She also voiced a lead character on the Netflix animated series Dead End: Paranormal Park.

Mitchel Musso

Mitchel Musso

Mitchel Musso played Oliver Oken, one of Miley Stewart’s closest friends on Hannah Montana. Alongside his live-action role, he voiced Jeremy Johnson on Phineas and Ferb, a character he later reprised in the 2020 film Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe. Musso also starred on the Disney XD series Pair of Kings and hosted PrankStars on Disney Channel. In music, he released his self-titled debut album in 2009, which produced the fan-favorite single “The In Crowd.”

After his Disney years, Musso stepped back from the spotlight, though he continued occasional voice work and low-profile acting projects. His personal life made headlines in 2011 when he was charged with two counts of drunken driving, later pleading no contest to one count and receiving probation, a fine, and mandatory alcohol education courses, TMZ reported. At the time, he publicly took accountability, saying he wanted to move forward and learn from the experience.

“In becoming an adult, I have learned first hand that stepping up and taking responsibility is the best way to move forward,” he told E! Online at the time. “I am especially thankful to my family and fans for their unwavering support and encouragement. I am glad to now put this in the past.”

Musso returned to headlines in August 2023 after being arrested in Texas on charges including public intoxication and theft (for allegedly taking a bag of chips), according to police reports. The charges were later dismissed, with the court citing insufficient evidence and Musso’s cooperation; he said the incident stemmed from a misunderstanding and that he was grateful to have it resolved. The case became a viral moment online, prompting Musso to issue statements thanking fans for support and emphasizing that he has been focusing on sobriety.

Jason Earles

Jason Earles

Jason Earles starred as the wacky and lovable Jackson Stewart, Miley Stewart’s older brother, on Hannah Montana, earning praise for his physical comedy and memorable one-liners. After the series wrapped in 2011, he went on to star as Rudy on the Disney XD martial arts sitcom Kickin’ It, which ran from 2011 to 2015 and became one of the network’s most popular shows.

Since then, Earles has continued acting with guest appearances on various TV projects, including a 2020 episode of Just Roll With It. He’s also appeared in shows like WTH: Welcome to Howler, Mood Swings, and Hotel Du Loone.

In his personal life, Jason was married to Jennifer Earles from 2002 until their divorce in 2013. He later married Katie Drysen in 2017, and the pair continue to support each other’s creative endeavors. Jason also dedicates time to mentoring young actors and working with theater programs, reflecting his long-standing passion for performance and comedy.

Moisés Arias

Moisés Arias played the fan-favorite character Rico on Hannah Montana. After a recurring role in the first season, Moises became a series regular. Following Hannah Montana, Arias built an impressive career in film. He earned critical praise for his role in the 2013 coming-of-age film The Kings of Summer, and has appeared in major projects including Despicable Me 2, Ender’s Game, Pitch Perfect 3, and Five Feet Apart. His work continued into the 2020s with standout roles in The King of Staten Island (2020), as well as appearances in Samaritan and American Murderer.

Hollywood’s New Obsession: The Rise of the “Quiet Icons” Changing the Fame Game

Hollywood’s New Obsession: The Rise of the “Quiet Icons” Changing the Fame Game

by jummy84 December 8, 2025
written by jummy84

There’s a new wave sweeping through Hollywood, and it’s not about blockbuster franchises, scandal-driven headlines, or overnight viral fame. This season, the industry’s coolest energy is coming from what fans are calling the “Quiet Icons”  celebrities who don’t need chaos, controversy, or clickbait to dominate the conversation.

From red carpets to social media feeds, these stars are redefining what it means to shine in Hollywood. Instead of loud drama, they bring authenticity, intention, and a vibe that feels refreshingly human in an industry built on noise.

Leading the trend are multi-hyphenates like Lily Collins, who continues to blend classic elegance with modern cool; Barry Keoghan, whose mysterious charm has turned him into the internet’s favorite unpredictable actor; and rising artists like Maya Hawke, who has quietly become the muse of a generation craving softness and originality.

What makes these stars magnetic is simple:
realness is their brand.
They show up to premieres with effortless fashion, post unfiltered behind-the-scenes content, and speak with honesty about their process instead of perfection. No over-curated personas, no performative drama, just vibes, talent, and a sense of grounded confidence.

Even in fashion, the Quiet Icon movement is booming. Stylist-favorite brands like The Row, Khaite, and Tove are leaning into minimal silhouettes and luxe textures that whisper instead of shout. The red carpet has officially entered its “silent luxury with personality” era, and fans can’t get enough.

What’s fascinating is that this shift isn’t accidental, it’s cultural. Audiences are exhausted by spectacle. They want stars who feel real, who make fame look sustainable instead of chaotic, and who bring emotional intelligence to an industry that sometimes forgets what emotion even means.

This new Hollywood energy proves one thing:
You don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to be the most iconic.
Sometimes, the ones who speak softly make the biggest impact.

“All I’ve ever thought about is avenging my father.” Sony Pictures has revealed two more official trailers for the animated revenge action movie by Mamoru Hosoda (of the films The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast, Mirai, Belle) titled Scarlet, arriving in theaters this December. It first premiered at the 2025 Venice Film Festival and will hit theaters exclusively worldwide. Hosoda’s Scarlet follows the story of a brave princess who transcends time and space. Also known as Scarlet Without Limits or Endless Scarlet in Japan, is an isekai-adjacent tale about a princess named Scarlet, voiced by Mana Ashida (from Children of the Sea). After her father, the king, is murdered, she leaps across space & time to get revenge. But finds herself in the “Land of the Dead”, where those who fail to fulfill quests for vengeance risk disappearing into nothingness. On her quest, she meets a modern-day Japanese man named Hijiri (voiced by Masaki Okada) who aids her on her perilous mission. This looks like another exciting adventure by Hosoda! Reviews state it’s a “beautiful take on Hamlet. Fresh new version of the classic story.”

Here’s the two more official trailer (+ new poster) for Mamoru Hosoda’s film Scarlet, direct from YouTube:

An adventure beyond imagination. A never-ending struggle. A fateful encounter that transcends time and space. Can Scarlet find a way to live at the end of her endless journey? Scarlet, also known as 果てしなきスカーレット in Japanese or Endless Scarlet, is written and directed by acclaimed Japanese animation filmmaker Mamoru Hosoda, director of the anime movies Digimon: The Movie, One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast, Mirai, and Belle previously, as well as “Samurai Champloo”. Produced by Yûichirô Saitô, Nozomu Takahashi, Toshimi Tanio. Studio Chizu, Nippon TV, and Sony Pictures. The film is premiering at the 2025 Venice Film Festival this fall. Lenny Founder Lindsey Davidson Shares Why Stars Look So Good in Their Vintage Denim and How You Can Too

by jummy84 December 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Lindsey Davidson, founder and CEO of Lenny, is making denim dreams come true from her Studio City, California vintage jean outpost.

Rachel Bilson, Whitney Port, Hannah Berner, Carole Radziwill, Katie Lowes, and more are flocking to the destination for perfectly worn-in Levi’s, Wrangler, Lee, and rare European styles in every wash imaginable, plus Davidson’s expert eye.

“My connection to vintage denim began early. I was a total tomboy growing up and practically lived in jeans, so when it came time to build a brand of my own, it felt only natural that it would center on denim and the romance of vintage,” she tells ET.

Whitney Port/Instagram

That adoration comes down to the history woven into every pair she carries.

“We put a lot of effort into finding truly unique washes and silhouettes because that’s the magic of vintage. No two pairs are the same. What captivates me most about vintage denim is the life it has lived before you. … The whiskering, the fading, and the subtle imperfections are all part of the charm and what makes vintage so special and one-of-a-kind,” Davidson explains.

To make them even more original, the entrepreneur offers one-on-one in person and virtual appointments where she provides tailored tweaks to the waist, hips, and seat for a flattering fit, along with custom embroidery options.

Lenny

“The best tip for creating the perfect pair of jeans is to start with a size that’s close to your own. A lot of people think they need to go up two or three sizes, but that really only works if you’re going for a baggy, oversized look.”

Instead, her approach prioritizes the integrity of the denim and the person wearing it.

“We only offer customizations that make sense for that specific pair to ensure the fit, quality, and character remain intact. … By honing in on those key fit points, we can make thoughtful changes that enhance shape and comfort while keeping the craftmanship of the jeans,” she shares.

Carole Radziwill/Instagram

And while requests vary, one universal desire remains. “When it comes to denim, everyone wants their booty to look good. … Shaping in that area can make all the difference. … There’s no better feeling than wearing a pair of jeans that fits you perfectly. It’s the ultimate confidence booster.”

That attention to detail and emotional understanding is exactly why It-girls gravitate toward her.

Hannah Berner/Instagram

“Everyone, celebrity or not, appreciates something personal and intentional. … We take the time to understand the fit, the fabric, and how someone wants to feel when they put on their jeans,” Davidson says.

“Denim can be such a battle for so many women, so our goal is to make the experience fun and supportive. … We love helping people feel good in a pair of jeans that truly feels like them.”

The Soft-Luxury Lifestyle: Why Everyone Is Choosing Calm Over Chaos in 2025

The Soft-Luxury Lifestyle: Why Everyone Is Choosing Calm Over Chaos in 2025

by jummy84 December 6, 2025
written by jummy84

If 2024 was all about bold wellness trends and high-intensity routines, 2025 has officially entered its soft-luxury era a lifestyle vibe where calm, comfort, and quiet indulgence are the new status symbols.

Think: slow mornings, clean spaces, warm lighting, intentional shopping, curated playlists, and a mindset that says “less, but better.” It’s not minimalism, and it’s not maximalism it’s intentional living with personality.

The soft-luxury lifestyle is inspired by a mix of Scandinavian comfort, Japanese simplicity, and the new American wave of “quiet confidence.” It’s about building a life that feels good from the inside out, not one that simply looks good on social media.

TikTok creators call it “soft living with edge”  cozy but cool, peaceful but stylish, grounded but aspirational. And honestly? It’s the lifestyle shift many people didn’t know they needed.

Here’s what defines the trend:

Home as a sanctuary
People are investing in quality pieces: plush throws, ceramic mugs, gentle textures, and calming scents. The goal is to walk into your home and instantly breathe out.

Rituals over routines
Matcha in the morning, digital sunsets at night, skincare that feels like self-care instead of a 20-step marathon.

Health without the hustle
Balanced meals, long walks, stretching, hydration, simple habits with big impact.

Fashion that feels as good as it looks
Think soft knits, buttery neutrals, timeless silhouettes, and quiet-luxury accessories.

Reset days becoming normal
People are actually scheduling rest  and treating it as a power move, not a lazy one.

At its core, the soft-luxury lifestyle is about choosing peace in a world that thrives on pressure. It’s giving yourself permission to slow down, breathe deeper, and enjoy the small things without guilt.

And the best part?
It’s accessible to everyone.
Soft luxury isn’t about money, it’s about intention.

2025 is officially the year we stop chasing burnout and start choosing balance. And honestly, it looks (and feels) iconic.

Netflix has unveiled a 5 minute promo featurette for the Norway monster movie sequel Troll 2, which is now playing on Netflix right now. We posted the full official trailer a few months ago – this video focuses on the VFX work and the design & creation of the main trolls that will rumble in this sequel. Heated Rivalry brings rivalry on the ice to a whole new level. Based on the popular novel by Rachel Reid, the drama follows two rival hockey stars whose fierce competition turns into a secret romance that spans seasons, cities, and loyalties. Now streaming, the series blends sports, romance, and emotional tension as the pair navigate fame, pressure, and their feelings behind closed doors.

Below, we break down the plot, where to watch, how many episodes are out, and more.

What Is Heated Rivalry About?

Heated Rivalry centers on two rival pro-hockey players — Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov — whose on-ice rivalry masks a passionate and secret romance. Their story evolves from animosity and competition to a years-long relationship filled with love, denial, and self-discovery.

According to the official synopsis, Shane and Ilya are “bound by ambition, rivalry, and a magnetic pull neither of them fully understands.”

“What begins as a secret fling between two fresh-faced rookies evolves into a years-long journey of love, denial, and self-discovery. Over the next eight years, the pair chase glory on the ice while struggling to navigate their feelings off it. Torn between the sport they live for and the love they can’t ignore, Shane and Ilya must decide if there is room in their fiercely competitive world for something as fragile and as powerful as real love.”

Heated Rivalry Cast

The show is led by Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander, the confident hockey captain of the Montreal Metros, and Connor Storrie as Ilya Rozanov, the fiery Russian star and captain of the Boston Raiders.

The supporting cast includes François Arnaudas fellow player Scott Hunter, alongside Christina Chang and Dylan Walsh as Shane’s parents. Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova appears as Svetlana Vetrova, a figure tied to Ilya’s past, while Sophie Nélisse plays Rose Landry.

Where to Watch Heated Rivalry Episodes

In the U.S. and Australia, Heated Rivalry streams on HBO Max. In Canada, the show is available on Crave.

Other international platforms, including Neon in New Zealand and Movistar Plus+ in Spain, also carry the series.

How Many Episodes Are There of Heated Rivalry?

Season 1 of Heated Rivalry consists of six episodes. The first two episodes dropped on November 28, 2025, followed by weekly releases every Friday through the finale on December 26.

Is There a Season 2 of Heated Rivalry?

As of now, there is no official confirmation of a second season.

However — though not guaranteed — the show’s creators have expressed openness to continuing the story, especially since the source material (the book series by Reid) includes more content involving the main characters.
