“It took 7 days to create the world, it only took one to disrupt its balance.” And let’s be honest – it’s all our fault. This mesmerizing animated short film is entirely worth a watch, especially if you love this planet and all the plants & animals on it. On the 8th Day is an 8 minute animated short film created by 5 students at the acclaimed Piktura animation school in France. The original French title is Au 8ème Jour and it was finished in 2023 – but it has been playing at film festivals and other events around the world for the pat 2 years. Now it’s online for everyone to enjoy thanks to Short of the Week. This is created with 3D animation but it has the same look & style of stop-motion animation, specifically felt & cloth & yarn animation usually made by hand. The short is an eco fable visualizing our interconnected world and the link between all living creatures on planet Earth. The pieces of yarn connect everything and everyone. Until darkness starts taking over… It’s a beautiful creation and the animals are so cute. Bravo to the team for crafting this stunning film.

Thanks to Short of the Week for the tip on this one. Intro via YouTube: “It took 7 days to create the world, it only took one to disrupt its balance. This award-winning 3D animation mimics hand-crafted stop-motion to tell an environmentalist parable about the interconnectedness of all life. What elevates it is the remarkable polish of its execution, the genuine emotion it stirs, and an apocalyptic sense of scale and foreboding that feels attuned to the current moment.” On the 8th Day is an animated short film created by students at the acclaimed Piktura animation school based in Roubaix, France. You can find out more about the school on their official site. This was made by Agathe Sénéchal, Alicia Massez, Elise Debruyne, Flavie Carin, Théo Duhautois. Originally completed in 2023. Produced by Carlos De Carvalho. With original music by Thomas Peyrounette with Adèle Chavy on the violin. View the making of video here. For info on the film, visit SOTW or the film’s main page. Josh Hutcherson may be one of the most famous movie stars in the world, but the I Love LA star keeps his relationship with girlfriend Claudia Traisac out of the spotlight. To learn more about Claudia and their low-key romance, keep reading.

Who Is Claudia Traisac?

Originally from Spain, Claudia is a film actress who rose to prominence for her role in the series Cuéntame cómo pasó. As an acclaimed television star, Claudia has also appeared in main roles in series such as 18 and Vivir sin permiso.

Claudia’s first movie role was in 2004’s El 7 Dia, and she later appeared in the musicals Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar and La Llamada.

How Long Have Josh and Claudia Been Dating?

Neither Josh nor Claudia has publicly confirmed the start of their relationship, but multiple outlets reported that they began dating in 2013. They first met on the set of their film Escobar: Paradise Lost. And as true star-crossed lovers, Josh and Claudia’s on-screen characters fall in love after he meets her on a trip to Colombia.

Since then, Josh and Claudia have been spotted on rare occasions in Los Angeles and traveling around the world together.

What Has Josh Said About Claudia?

The Five Nights at Freddy’s actor and the El 7 Dia actress rarely speak about their romance in public. However, they finally broke their silence about it during a 2015 red carpet interview with E!

“It’s pretty good. Distance is hard, but we make it work,” Josh admitted to the outlet, while Claudia added, “I’m really happy. It’s really great.”

Later that year, the Hunger Games franchise star got candid about the difficulties in managing a long-distance relationship. “There’s a lot of traveling, a lot of Skype,” he told Dujour magazine at the time. “I feel like I’m with you because I’m seeing you and we’re talking, but also you’re a f**king screen. It’s very frustrating.”

Nevertheless, the duo seemingly haven’t had a problem with spending some time physically apart. They’ve continued to land acting roles while maintaining a healthy relationship.

Nearly 10 years after they opened up about their romance, Josh made a rare comment about Claudia during his January 2024 appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Though he refrained from saying Claudia’s name, the Beekeeper actor discussed the whistle meme of him that became viral on social media.

“I had no idea [the whistle meme] existed, and then my girlfriend posted it,” Josh said to host Jimmy Fallon.

Are Josh and Claudia Still Together?

As of 2025, it appears that Josh and Claudia are still together. Although the couple keep their love away from the public eye, Josh affectionately talked about his girlfriend during an August 2025 interview with People while revealing the name she calls his dog, Smudge.

“My girlfriend is from Madrid, and she couldn’t really say Smudge — it’s a hard word to pronounce in Spanish,” he explained. “We looked up that Mancha is the Spanish for a smudge, and so, Manchi became the cute Spanish version.”

Meet Isaac Middleton, the Artist Who Never Stopped Betting on Himself

by jummy84 November 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Isaac Middleton is one of those artists you can’t quite put in a single box, and that’s exactly what makes his story compelling. Whether you know him as 8010az on Twitch, Isaac M when he’s singing, or Da Fire Hawk in his streaming world, he’s been building his path brick by brick, long before social media made hustling look glamorous.

He grew up in small towns, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia and Alabama, but he never saw that as a limitation. If anything, it made his dreams louder. Isaac jokes that he’s been grinding since the dial-up days, and honestly, it shows. Every move he’s made has been about growth, about learning, about refusing to let circumstances shrink his ambition.

Now based in California, Isaac is open about the ups and downs that come with chasing a creative career. “I’m not getting younger, but age doesn’t matter, I want my name everywhere, and I’m not letting a number slow me down,” he says. It’s a mindset that’s carried him through moments where motivation dips, grounded always by his faith, his family, his friends and the fans who believe in him.

Isaac’s creative world is wide. Acting is his main focus, but he doesn’t stop there, he’s also producing, directing, writing books, making music and running projects like the IME iRadio Station. He treats every opportunity like it’s the one that could change everything, and that’s why he doesn’t let any slip through his fingers.

His creative output includes the Guardians of the Dawn book series and his music track “Time Just Float Away,” produced with DJ Fire Hawk and featured on IME iRadio. His acting work spans everything from indie sets to union productions, each role adding another layer to the career he’s building with intention and purpose.

But what sets him apart isn’t just the work, it’s the person behind it. Isaac is easy to root for because he’s real. He loves burgers, pizza and sweets (even when he’s trying to cut back), spends hours on video games, hits the gym, enjoys the beach and is a fan of superheroes and anime. He was born on November 8, went to Eastside High, then continued his studies at San Diego City College and San Diego Christian College. He’s an everyday guy with extraordinary drive.

If you’ve supported him along the way, Isaac wants you to know he doesn’t take it lightly. “Thank you for supporting me as an actor, singer, songwriter, author, and podcaster. I’m grateful every day,” he says.

Because at the end of the day, Isaac Middleton isn’t waiting for someone to hand him a breakthrough, he’s creating it himself. And if his journey proves anything, it’s that big dreams don’t need big beginnings. They just need someone willing to keep going, no matter what.

Dr. Steven Gundry Shares His Celeb-Approved Wellness Hacks for Staying Healthy All Holiday Season

by jummy84 November 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Have a happy and healthy holiday! Dr. Steven Gundry, the expert behind transformations from stars like Kelly Clarkson and Usher, is sharing his top wellness tips with ET just in time for the 2026 holiday season.

Before you hit a holiday party, Gundry says a little prep can go a long way.

“Eat a handful of the right nuts beforehand to you’re not starving and tempted to eat things you wouldn’t normally have,” he advises.

Think: Hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, and walnuts. But proceed with caution when it comes to pistachio nuts before a long night out.

Getty Images

“Pistachios are a natural source of melatonin, so they might make you sleepy,” he notes.

Once you’re in party mode, hydration is key, especially if you’re enjoying celebratory cocktails.

“If you plan on drinking alcohol, have a big glass of water between each beverage, or aim to sip one drink throughout the event,” he says.

If alcoholic beverages aren’t on your menu, Gundry still has a festive fix.

Gundry MD

“Get a cocktail glass full of sparkling water, add a lime slice, and act like you are sipping on a gin and tonic. … Drinking sparkling water will also help fill you up,” The Gut-Brain Paradox author explains.

When it’s time for dinner, load up on greens before diving into other dishes.

“Fill your plate with a majority of veggie sides and make the carb-rich sides and meat the minor part of your plate.”

After you’ve eaten, don’t just settle into a seat. Instead, take a lap around the party.

Gundry MD

“Studies show that going for a quick walk after eating aids in digestion and supports maintaining a healthy weight,” Gundry shares.

Of course, if you stray from the plan, The International Heart and Lung Institute and The Centers for Restorative Medicine founder recommends giving your body a little extra love at the end of the night.

“Overindulging on either food or alcohol can happen if the conversation is flowing and you’re having a good time, but before you go to bed, take chlorophyll and H2 water to help flush out the toxins.”

From Childhood Camcorder to Directorial Debut: Garrett Patten Rediscovers His Calling Behind the Camera

From Childhood Camcorder to Directorial Debut: Garrett Patten Rediscovers His Calling Behind the Camera

by jummy84 November 14, 2025
written by jummy84

The path to becoming a filmmaker rarely follows a straight line. For Garrett Patten, it started with his childhood Sony camcorder and love for creating. His path detoured through over a decade in the corporate world, but has now circled back to where it began. This time, however, with the seasoned perspective of someone who understands what he’s been missing.

Patten’s early experiments were humble: two-minute shorts cobbled together on outdated Adobe editing software. But those amateur projects planted the seeds to keep him rooted in filmmaking. He surrounded himself with fellow creatives and film students while studying at the University of Southern California. He had a successful run of careers outside of the industry, but knew his heart yearned to go back to what he’s always loved doing most.

“All in all, I love filmmaking in every form writing, directing, acting, editing,” Patten reflects. “It’s a complete expression of creativity, collaboration, and truth.”

That reunion with film required strategic reentry. Rather than rushing behind the camera, Patten approached his return as a producer, working alongside talented directors on projects including “Bandit” and “Die Alone.” The experience gave him an insider’s look into the logistics and artistry of directing. He then deepened his craft at Ivana Chubbuck’s renowned acting school, initially seeking to better direct actors but discovering an unexpected passion for performance itself.

Now, Patten brings both perspectives as director and actor to his debut short film “Self Custody,” co-directed with Fernando Ferro and written by Daniel McCann. The suspense thriller stars Odette Annable, Michael Monks, and UFC champion Henry Cejudo in a story exploring redemption, technology, and the devastating price of lost access in the digital age.

The premise emerged from the startling reality that an estimated 30 to 40 percent of all Bitcoin has been lost or stolen permanently. “The idea that someone could hold a fortune worth hundreds of millions of dollars on a single drive, with no backup, no bank, no safety net,” Patten explains. “It’s complete self-reliance but also complete isolation.” Often drawing from this balance of reliance and independence with his characters and story.

That duality extends to the film’s title, which operates on two levels. Beyond the cryptocurrency concept, “Self Custody” also describes the psychological imprisonment of being trapped within one’s own mind. “Both meanings mirror my character’s journey,” Patten notes. “He’s someone searching for control and in the process, he becomes his own prisoner. The title reflects that tension between freedom and isolation, power and loss.”

Patten’s preparation process involved months of living inside his character’s world, breaking down objectives, obstacles, and emotional triggers. “To get into that headspace, I drew from moments in my own life. It’s a process of letting go of yourself and allowing the character to take over,” he explains. The intensity of that immersion often left him mentally drained on set, but he views that exhaustion as evidence of full commitment. “When you fully surrender to the role, that’s when it starts to feel real. This role took me to emotional places I didn’t know I could go. When you fully commit to a character like this, it strips away a lot of what’s comfortable—and that’s where the real growth happens.”

Having completed post-production, “Self Custody” begins its film festival run this month. For Patten, not only is this project his debut as director and actor, but it represents rediscovering his childhood spark for filmmaking. This time, however, refined by years of experience and a hard-won understanding of what it means to be a versatile filmmaker.

Sometimes the longest route home teaches you the most about where you’re going.

Goofy Italian Comedy ‘Sicily Express’ Trailer – A Magical Garbage Bin

by Alex Billington

“Work in Milan and sleep in Sicily? This Christmas, it will be possible.” Ha! I wonder if this a funny concept only Italians will understand? Netflix has revealed an official trailer for a an extra wacky comedy mini-series titled Sicily Express, ready for streaming on Netflix starting in early December. Another holiday offering from Netflix – this one is really made just for Italians to laugh about. With Christmas around the corner, two blundering Sicilian friends working in Milan discover a dumpster that transports them to their families in seconds. It’s a fun concept where this trash bin allows them to travel instantly between North Italy (where Milan is) and South Italy (where Sicily and Palermo and Naples are located). The new miniseries is written, directed, and starring Ficarra & Picone. The beloved Sicilian duo returns with a five-episode holiday comedy launching in December. Along with Salvatore Ficarra & Valentino Picone, the cast also includes Katia Follesa & Barbara Tabita, along with Max Tortora, Sergio Vastano, Enrico Bertolino, Adelaide Massari, & Angelo Tosto, plus a special appearance by Giorgio Tirabassi. This is exceptionally goofy & the humor is dumb, but I gotta say – it does look fun enough to watch. Especially during the holidays. Enjoy.

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Netflix’s comedy series Sicily Express, direct from YouTube:

Sicily Express Poster

Sicily Express is a comedy series that tells the story of Salvo and Valentino, two Sicilian nurses who split their lives between their work in Milan and their families back home in Sicily at the bottom of Italy. Sicily Express, also known as Sicilia Express in Italian, is a comedy mini-series created and made and written and directed by the Italian actors / comedians Salvatore Ficarra & Valentino Picone – aka Ficarra and Picone – also directors of La matassa, It May Be Love But It Doesn’t Show, Andiamo a quel paese, L’ora legale, Once Upon a Time in Bethlehem, and the series “Framed! A Sicilian Murder Mystery” previously. With additional writing by Fabrizio Cestaro, Nicola Guaglianone, Fabrizio Testini. Produced by Tramp Limited. Netflix will debut Sicily Express streaming on Netflix starting December 5th, 2025 coming up. Who wants to watch?

Who Is Scott Kelly? Man Behind the Résumé at Jonas Brothers Concert – Hollywood Life

by jummy84 November 14, 2025
written by jummy84

If your name is Scott Kelly, you’ve probably received a lot of questions this week, but one man with the name received unwavering amount support on the internet — and it was all thanks to the Jonas Brothers. On November 10, 2025, TikTok user @your.girl.jen uploaded a video of an unidentified audience member reading a job résumé during a Jonas Brothers concert. The document was labeled, “Scott Kelly Resume Sept 2025.”

“scott kelly your resume was being reviewed at a jonas brothers concert tonight. good luck,” the user captioned her post, which garnered 8 million likes and more than 30,000 comments in four days. Even Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas showed their support for Scott in the comments section once the clip went viral.

@your.girl.jen

Good luck Scott Kelly i hope you get the job #jonasbrothers #jonasbrotherstour #jonasbrothersbuffalo #resume #greetingsfromyourhometown

“Scott Kelly’s work ethic and critical thinking inspired me to write the line ‘red dress,’” Nick commented, while Kevin chimed in by writing, “I’m one of Scott Kelly’s references.” And leave it to Joe to bring it home, as he commented, “Bro, Scott Kelly was there for me plenty of times. Hired ✅.”

Days later, the real Scott joined the Jonas Brothers on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he dropped a major bombshell: he didn’t even know who the famous band members were!

Here, Hollywood Life has compiled everything we know about Scott and his new relationship with the Jonas Brothers.

Did Scott Kelly Get the Job?

It turns out that Scott never applied for a new job in the first place. The person reading his credentials was a man named Brandon Bieron, who manages Reimer Home Services and hires veterans. Brandon and Scott served in the same U.S. Army infantry battalion in 2014 at Fort Drum, New York, and Scott wants to help fellow veterans transition out of military service.

“Brandon’s been very successful in his post-military career,” Scott explained during his Tonight Show appearance alongside the JoBros. “He’s the president of a company out there called Reimer that does home services in the Buffalo, [New York], area. And he’s always looking to bring on veteran talent. The transition from being in the military to being a civilian can be very challenging. So, he actually goes out of his way to hire veteran talent in the area for his company.”

Scott then pointed out, “And so [I] wasn’t looking for a job, but he and I are going to link up.”

Is Scott Kelly an Astronaut?

There is a retired astronaut named Scott Kelly, but he is not the same man whose résumé was viewed at the Jonas Brothers’ concert.

What Does Scott Do for a Living?

Scott told The Washington Post that he is “gainfully employed” by his telecommunications company. He is also taking a virtual class for his master’s of business administration (MBA) program.

However, his unplanned 15 minutes of fame brought him a ton of job prospects, he told the Post.

“My inbox is so flooded with opportunities right now,” Scott said. “It’s hard to know where I’m going to start, but right now I’m working on growing my opportunities where I am.”

Countless major brands — from Maybelline to Butterfinger — showed their support for Scott in the comments section of the viral TikTok.

Scott Kelly Didn’t Know Who the Jonas Brothers Were

Before he stumbled into TikTok fame, Scott had no idea who the Jonas Brothers were, he revealed on The Tonight Show on November 13, 2025.

“Can I share a real thing? I had never heard of you before this,” Scott admitted as the crowd laughed. “My wife had to tell me. I didn’t have Disney Channel growing up. I didn’t know. … Hey, I’m huge fans now. Love you guys.”

Scott’s contact, Brandon, was at the brothers’ concert earlier that week with his wife, Ange, according to the Post.
