Ganni Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Ganni choosing a presentation over a catwalk show for spring was not only unexpected; it was arguably an even more rebellious move than jumping from the Copenhagen calendar—where the brand became known for its blow-out shows—to the Paris one. “I think every time people do something that’s a little bit unexpected, it’s just interesting,” said creative director Ditte Reffstrup. Choosing this way of showing, she explained, was “a big change, and we’re not saying that we are not going to go back to [the runway], but it’s our third time in Paris and everything is on such a fast track. I really wanted to try to take this collection a little bit more slow. I really wanted people to be able to see the actual product and see the craft qualities and the details.”

Visitors to the exhibition at the Bastille Design Center, an industrial building dating to the 19th century, were greeted by dressed wooden mannequins standing among flowers. Behind them played a dreamy movie meant to evoke a sense of summers past, captured in blurred images as if seen from a moving vehicle—“fragments of a dream,” as the designer put it. At the top of the stairs was a wall of bags and on the second floor the collection was presented, again on wooden mannequins, styled less dramatically. Even so, the pieces defied expectation.

Reffstrup carried on with the warped floral prints introduced last season, and added a leopard one: she said they capture the feeling of time passing, and the way memory alters things. This season’s double-belted trench had an extravagant pannier-like volume; its belled shape was that of a tulip, in keeping with Reffstrup’s desire to explore “the flower universe.” Dense appliqués of flowers on denim, and crochet pieces with dimensional blooms looked heavy; the less literally flower-like pieces were more sophisticated and had less of a loving hands at home feeling. “Posy,” Ganni’s take on a gardening bag, looked poised to be a hit. A khaki dress in recycled patent was smocked in such a way that the usual puckers took the form of flowers. A white printed dress was given a crinkle treatment so it resembled peeling wallpaper, a sort of manifestation of those dream fragments the designer had mentioned. “I’m always a very nostalgic person, but especially when the world is a little bit rocky or noisy, I’m always longing to go back. So the whole journey to this collection has really been to dive into the childhood memories,” said Reffstrup, who traces the birth of her creativity to the free summer days she happily passed in a seaside town in Jutland.

Clogs were the most typical Scandi element. There were few monochrome looks; these included a drop-waisted gray dress, and its sibling, an off the shoulder buttoned top, lined in a print fabric with jeans. The Nordic region is known for layering, but what was on show was of a different kind entirely, with bandeau tops worn over everything from a red satin dress to a crinkled organza jacket. Most looks featured trailing scarves that fell from shoulder straps, or otherwise embraced the body. “I think there have been so many seasons now where it has all been so muted and simple, and I have this need of exploring a more feminine side,” said Reffstrup, adding “this is for sure not dressing up for a man, this is really dressing up for you.”

There was another dress-up aspect to this collection, too: That of standing in front of a mirror, often in borrowed clothes, and knotting and belting them not only to adjust the fit but as a way to arrive at one’s personal style. There was a physicality to many of the pieces, which were pulled and tied, that really was best appreciated up close and personal.

A Week In Victoria, BC On A $150,000 Household Income

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Was there an expectation for you to attend higher education? Did you participate in any form of higher education? If yes, how did you pay for it?
Yes, my parents both come from cultures where education is important and my dad worked in academia. However, I took an alternative route and went to a private fashion and beauty college rather than a regular college or university. I took out a student loan to pay for it, which I paid off in 2020.

Growing up, what kind of conversations did you have about money? Did your parent(s) educate you about finances?
I was told when we were doing ok financially, and when we needed to focus on saving. Apart from that, my parents did not really educate me about finances.

What was your first job and why did you get it?
I worked at a rock climbing gym in high school. I wanted to have my own spending money, and I also got to climb for free on the days I worked.

Did you worry about money growing up?
Not too much. My mom was a hard worker and she always made sure we were comfortable, but she was transparent about not being able to afford certain things. Still, I never felt that we were seriously struggling.

Do you worry about money now?
Somewhat. Things have gotten a lot easier since J. started working again (and got a six figure job to boot), but I also know that life is unpredictable and anything can happen. Even though our household income has essentially tripled since he started working again, I haven’t changed my spending habits very much because I know that our situation could change again.

At what age did you become financially responsible for yourself and do you have a financial safety net?
I moved out of my mom’s place when I was 20. My husband and I have about $50,000 in savings, which we’d like to invest more in the future.

Do you or have you ever received passive or inherited income? If yes, please explain.
No.

Libra Tarot Horoscopes: October 2025

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

By the solar eclipse in Virgo on September 21, you’ll likely feel an inner shift that will help you release outdated patterns and prepare for a new cycle of growth. With Mars entering Scorpio on the 22nd, this is a time to act boldly when it comes to long-term stability. The month is less about external validation from others and more about listening to your inner voice and making intuitive choices that lead you to where you’ve always wanted to go. You are being called to align with your purpose, even if it requires a big commitment or making a high-stakes decision. Trust that you’re protected, Libra!

August 2025

Three of Cups: Mars enters your sign on August 6, activating the desire for connection and joy and encouraging you to be more boldly “you.” The Three of Cups is about attracting aligned friendship, community, and celebration, reminding you that not all growth has to be painful or serious. Sometimes, belly laughing with people you love is the most healing medicine we have.

This is a month for reunions, creative collaborations, and feeling more seen in the spaces you frequent. If things have felt emotionally heavy lately, August can bring levity and love back into your world. Say yes to spontaneous invitations, especially around the time that Mercury stations direct on the 11th. You may find soul-nourishing magic in the most unexpected of places this month.

July 2025

the hermit tarot card

The Hermit: Without your feeling defeated or distraught, this month is pushing you inward in the temporary before catapulting you into being with the right people for the long-term. Take this moment to enjoy your alone time before rushing to fill it with distractions.

The Hermit is your permission slip to step back and reconnect with what matters most to you, especially when no one is watching. Reflect on what you’re craving from your relationships of all kinds…romantic, platonic, and professional. Are you being honest about your own needs and desires? Sometimes being social can be a form of avoidance. Let this be a sacred pause instead. With Mercury entering its retrograde period Leo on the 18th, your sense of the world is going through a total metamorphosis. When you reemerge, it won’t be out of loneliness but from alignment. This quiet chapter is not about isolation; it’s about preparing you to be deeply seen.

June 2025

Six of Cups: June brings memories, nostalgia, and the sweet ache of reconnection, Libra. The Six of Cups asks you to revisit your past—not to dwell, but to reclaim lost parts of yourself. When Mercury enters Cancer on June 8, your intuition sharpens, especially when it comes to family dynamics and emotional memory. This month, look to your inner child for clues: What used to bring you joy before life told you to grow up? Whether it’s rekindling an old hobby, reaching out to a childhood friend, or simply letting yourself feel safe in softness, June offers emotional restoration.

The Prettiest, Most Expensive-Smelling Iris Perfumes of 2025

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Fragrance compliments are my favorite kind of compliments, so you better believe I return the favor as often as I can—and lately, I can’t help but swoon over iris-infused blends. Though, to be honest, I didn’t immediately clock the underrated note at first; then after praising a fourth stranger on their perfume, I decided to look into each rec for potential similarities (you know, in true beauty journalist fashion). The verdict, as you can probably guess, was iris—soft, pretty, expensive-smelling iris. Now? I specifically seek out the note when shopping for perfumes, especially as we gear up for crisp fall weather. You see, I’d describe iris as the cashmere sweater of the fragrance world—classic and eternally chic. And just like the buttery-soft separate, the velvety note goes well with just about everything. Need proof? Take a scroll through my favorite iris perfumes below.

Before diving into the list, I should clarify: The term “iris” actually refers to the odorless plant, while “orris” is the title typically used in fragrance blends. “In perfumery, the rhizome of the flower (roots) is the part that is treated to extract the orris concrete and absolute,” Pascal Gaurin, VP senior perfumer at IFF, further explains. That said, you’ll see both “iris” and “orris” interchangeably throughout these 10 picks—just know they’re referring to the same, powdery note.

The Best Iris Perfumes of 2025

neimanmarcus,

Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle

Lipstick Rose Perfume

Key notes: Grapefruit, rose, violet, iris, raspberry, vanilla, sandalwood, musk

Olfactory family: Floral

Old Hollywood glamour in a bottle, Lipstick Rose evokes swiping on the perfect shade of crimson in a softly lit powder room. Perfumer Ralf Schwieger created the scent with his mother’s lipstick in mind, but don’t think that means it smells too stale or waxy. No, violet, iris, and rose mingle for a delicate, beautiful aroma that exudes luxury. Trust, this is a perfume that makes you smell like a million bucks.

Customer review: “This perfume smells very elegant, sweet powdery violet and rose, subtle but strong. I only spray once on my dry skin and it lasts 6++ hours. Love it.”

Glossier You

Key notes: Pink pepper, iris, ambrette, ambrox

Olfactory family: Floral woody musk

Did you know that the cult-favorite Glossier blend relies on iris for its soft, familiar embrace? The note has a slightly earthy quality that enhances the sparkling pink pepper and warm, subtly sweet ambrette, and while the blend settles differently on everyone (yes, really), I personally love how those powdery elements shine on my own skin.

Customer review: “This is my 3rd bottle of Glossier You. I just love the freshness of it and it’s a unique scent. Always get asked what I’m wearing. Even when I can’t smell it, others can.”

N°19

Key notes: Green galbanum, iris, rose, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley

Olfactory family: Floral green

Here, we have the last fragrance launched and worn by Gabrielle Chanel (its name, N°19 pays homage to her birthday, August 19). Fresh, floral, and slightly woody, this green scent certainly sings in the springtime, though I’d argue it’s lightweight and sophisticated enough for year-round wear. In fact, I recommend spritzing it on the dreariest of winter mornings for an instant pick-me-up.

Customer review: “I love everything about this parfum. I’m a faithful Chanel wearer. All of my fragrances are Chanel. I never thought I’d love another as much as I love N°5 and then came N°19. It is soft, easy to wear, and goes with everything.”

Dior, Bois D'argent Eau de Parfum

Dior

Bois D’argent Eau de Parfum

Key notes: Wood accords, iris, frankincense

Olfactory family: Woody floral

Iris fragrances don’t always have to be soft and feminine. Case in point? This luxurious Dior blend, which is a wood-forward blend “pricked with iris,” per the brand. It’s earthy and comforting, while that pinch of iris adds a clean element not unlike fresh laundry. It’s a fabulous unisex scent to share with a partner, IMO; the smooth composition just can’t help but draw people in.

Customer review: “I had a sample and loved it enough to use it all so I bought the big bottle. It’s a fresh, not cloying, scent that smells softly clean. When I get a hug, people comment that I smell wonderful and what is it? I don’t want a fragrance that enters the room before I do.”

bergdorfgoodman,

Eauso Vert

Sintra Eau De Parfum

Key notes: Bergamot, lemon, mimosa, lavandin, orris, sandalwood, musk

Olfactory family: Floral musk

You’ll find iris in a smattering of skin scents (like Glossier You), given the note’s soft, comforting dry-down, but when paired with musk—another skin scent hero—the juice becomes all the more captivating. The brand compares this seductive blend to “getting lost under the open sky,” and I’d have to agree. Sintra is somehow light and familiar yet mysterious all at once—a skin scent you can’t quite put your finger on but want to keep getting to know.

Fleur De Peau Eau De Toilette

Diptyque

Fleur De Peau Eau De Toilette

Key notes: Iris, magnolia, pink peppercorn, mandarin, musk, ambrette

Olfactory family: Floral

A perfect harmony of juicy citrus and delicate florals with a hint of spice. Fleur de Peau is a perfume that will stop people in their tracks to say you—not your fragrance, a notable difference—smell divine. It also has some impressive longevity for a skin scent eau de toilette (which tends to evaporate faster than parfums and extraits); while delicate, the whiffs of powdery iris and sweet ambrette seeds do linger.

Customer review: “Fleur de peau has such a beautiful scent – spicy scent but not overpowering. It really lasts well and everyone asks what it is that I am wearing. The bottle looks beautiful too, so lovely to keep it out on display. Another stunning product from Diptyque would definitely recommend to others.”

Le Dix Parfum

Key notes: Iris absolute, isolated iris aldehydes, violet leaf, incense essential oils

Olfactory family: Floral

ICYMI, Balenciaga launched a collection of 10 wildly expensive-smelling fragrances. All of them are worth a whiff, but I do have my personal favorites—one of them being Le Dix, a re-creation of the first Balenciaga fragrance from 1947. It may transport you to an entirely different era, but this perfume is far from old fashioned. It combines historic elements with modern innovations (like high-tech isolated iris aldehydes) to elevate the juice for today’s fragrance consumer. Add some incense essential oils for a hit of smokiness, and you’re left with one complex, iconic blend.

Jouissance,

Jouissance

Les Cahiers Secrets

Key notes: Fresh-cut lilies, cumin, pressed powder, heliotrope, orris, musk

Olfactory family: Floral

A self-described “grandma scent,” Les Cahiers Secrets harks back to a time when perfume was considered a true delicacy—rare, symbolic, and cherished. “Our LCS is a tribute to these timeless creations and the vanished era they evoke,” says Cherry Cheng, founder of Jouissance. As such, the spicy floral is meant to evoke the little delicacies found in everyday life: good coffee, silk stockings, and skin “so luminous it glows in the dark.”

Customer review: “One of the most visceral scents I’ve ever experienced. It feels like having sex in an attic surrounded by dried flowers and vintage yet luxurious clothes. Fresh air drifts in, momentarily awakening you before everything turns carnal again. With this scent, you’re always on edge in the most irresistible way.”

Les LÉgendaires Après L'ondée - Eau De Toilette 75 Ml / 2.53 Oz

GUERLAIN

Les Légendaires Après L’Ondée

Key notes: Carnation accord, iris, vanilla

Olfactory family: Floral

“I think Guerlain’s Après L’Ondée and L’Heure Bleue are still some of the most beautiful iris fragrances out there, even though both of the originals were created more than 100 years ago!” Cheng adds. “To me, they both smell distinctly ‘blue’ and nostalgic. These are fragrances that whisper melancholic, tender melodies—something that’s rarely done anymore in today’s oversaturated fragrance market.” It’s difficult to portray such a wistful fragrance in words, but trust me (and Cheng) when I say that this is one luxurious iris-infused blend.

Customer review: “This is a beautiful scent. I have heard it described as haunting and melancholic. It is aptly named – it does give you the sense of smelling the air “after the rain.” It has a distinct character. It may not appeal to all. But if you love it you won’t want to be without it. This purchase was for a back up bottle.”

Father Figure Eau De Parfum

Phlur

Father Figure Eau De Parfum

Key notes: Fig, jasmine, sandalwood, orris root, vanilla Madagascar

Olfactory family: Green

I have yet to meet a single person without glowing things to say about this Phlur number. The juicy fig-forward blend is sweet (yet not too cloying), bright (yet has some depth), and soft (thanks to orris root!) without sacrificing longevity. Essentially, this is the Goldilocks of eau de parfums—it has something for everyone.

Customer review: “I love, LOVE this perfume, it’s sweet and a little bit zesty yet not too feminine, it’s incredible and it became my signature perfume! Will definitely buy again.”

What Does Iris Smell Like?

Many associate iris with smelling like red lipstick: powdery, soft, and slightly waxy. That said, the note can also give off a woody, earthy quality in specific blends. “To me, orris has a very soft and creamy odor with earthy, powdery, violet, [and] suede notes with dry fruits and woody undertones,” adds Gaurin. It’s a versatile note, however, which means it complements a host of fragrance families. Says Cheng, “With very small amounts, it works magic to enhance other ingredients to make them softer and prettier. I think its elegance comes from its subtleties.”

What Scents Go Well With Iris?

Well, really anything, given its versatility—although the ingredient particularly shines in soft floral and woody aromas. “I think it pairs most beautifully with sensuous and cocooning florals like heliotrope, ylang and orange blossom,” Cheng shares. Gaurin agrees on the floral front, noting that iris can even add complexity to fresh citrus fragrances. “It can [also] give depth [and] richness, thanks to its animalic/leather tonality, or amplify and elevate gourmand notes with its creamy and powdery effect,” he adds.

Stella McCartney Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

I was just thinking about how good so many of Stella McCartney’s guests looked in their Stella McCartney, which you can’t say of every brand’s front row, when one of them, Helen Mirren—Helen Mirren! I was beside myself, fanboying like crazy—got up dressed in her Stella suit, and black square-toed Stella pumps, a microphone in her hand, and began to speak. “Here come old flat-top, he come groovin’ up slowly, he got ju-ju eyeball, he one holy roller…” Mirren intoned. Oh hang on, I know this. It’s…. “He say, ‘I know you, you know me, one thing I can tell you is you got to be free….’” No, really, I do. It’s… it’s…. “Come together, right now, over me.” Well, duh, of course: It’s “Come Together” by The Beatles.

A look at the always informative The Stella Times, the newspaper McCartney distributes at every show, told us that come together is, yes, a double entendre—this is Stella McCartney, people, and as a Brit, I am here for her Brit humor. Yet more importantly for McCartney, the idea of come together is a statement about the uniting of people, and of us with the natural world, and from there, into McCartney’s own world, of fashion, and how its oppositions—masculine/feminine, structure/softness, rebellion and romance—can, and need to, co-exist.

McCartney’s collection played to all of this: The now McCartney-classic snappy wide shouldered suiting, some of it scissored away at the sides of the jackets, loosening up even more her roomy silhouette; the peplum shirts over wiiiiiide utility pants; softly Grès-like draped evening dresses dramatically contrasted with sculpted bodices; and, more of her brilliant (in both senses of the word) biodegradable sequins splashed over a jacket atop slouched up denims, or embellishing the front of cotton drill pants worn with a supersized tee.

Elsewhere, perusing McCartney’s paper also gave some background on two of the strongest elements of the collection: the jeans and the feathers. For the former, she used denim, woven with PURETECH, which, the notes said, “literally cleans the air we breathe.” It’s a material which could have uses, and implications, beyond fashion—though for now, its use in the standout jeans, one pair in striations of different blues, another with a curving back panel which looked like a denim jacket had been knotted at the waist, was very satisfying. As for the feathers, well, they weren’t. They were Fevvers, a plant based feather alternative, and lovely they looked, too, on Alex Consani, who fluttered down the runway to close the show in a strapless column dress in purple eco-plumage.

Of course, division is all we seem to live, breathe and experience these days, a gloomy, despondency-inducing state of affairs, and yes, you can say what good does raising this at a fashion do. But I for one am glad McCartney did; a rare acknowledgement that things are really quite desperate and dreadful, but speaking about it doesn’t detract from also celebrating creativity, and reminding us of some much needed joy and lightness. Quite the opposite. Come together, indeed.

But don’t mistake activity for alignment. It’s not about being busy for the sake of progress, but about choosing what truly excites you. The second half of July brings clarity around next steps and may even include a surprise opportunity that comes from afar. Stay open. Your future is calling, and it’s much bigger than what you’ve allowed yourself to imagine!

June 2025

Temperance: Balance is your superpower this June, Sagittarius. Temperance asks you to integrate all the moving parts of your life into something meaningful and sustainable. With a full moon in your sign on June 11, clarity dawns. What needs to be released so your spirit can soar? This card suggests that healing and harmony are your priorities now. You’ve been through a lot lately, and this month offers you a chance to restore. But restoration isn’t passive—it takes intention. Are you overworking, overgiving, or overthinking? Take inventory. Temperance reminds you that moderation is not mediocrity, it’s mastery. Look at your routines, your relationships, your reactions. Where can you create more space and less urgency?

June supports your inner alchemy: blending together the old and new, the light and dark, the mundane and the magical. This is a sacred period of time for recalibration. Trust that you can find your rhythm again, and that when you finally do, you’ll start to move with more purpose than ever before!

May 2025

Temperance: Implementing balance will be practically medicinal for you this month, Sagittarius. Temperance reminds you to find harmony in the in-between, between effort and ease, giving and receiving, speaking and listening. The gray-space parts of life truly do hold all of the magic.

With the sun entering your opposite sign of Gemini on May 20, relationships may come more into focus. Can you start to meet others halfway without losing your center? This card suggests a time of integration, when your past lessons and present goals begin to align. There’s no need to rush any connections in your life. In fact, the more you trust divine timing, the smoother the ride forward (together) can be. Let May be a month of moderation, healing, and intentionality. Your energy is sacred, and your peace is priceless. So let’s choose to spend your time wisely this May and beyond.

Leset Pants Try-On and Review 2025

We’re now 10 months into 2025, and if we take a moment to reflect on the shifting style landscape, one thing is clear: Jeans have taken a back seat, and trousers are having a major moment. This year, fashion people are swapping denim for fluid silhouettes, and much of that momentum can be credited to Leset.

Fashion editors and content creators, from Paris and London to NYC and L.A., are relying on Leset for its effortlessly chic pants. The brand has carved out a unique space between casual loungewear and refined ready-to-wear, proving that comfort and sophistication aren’t mutually exclusive. Even celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Hailey Bieber, Kaia Gerber, and Dakota Johnson—i.e., every A-lister you’d probably want to dress like—are fans of the Los Angeles–based brand. Whether heading to a meeting, the airport, or their local farmers market, these insiders reach for the pants, pairing them with everything from a sweater and flats to a tee and sneakers.

One of the main reasons Leset has built such a loyal following is the impressive versatility of its pants. With a range of silhouettes and fabrics—from sleek pull-on satin pants that can be dressed up to structured cotton poplin pants for a more tailored look to stretch-knit styles that move from the couch to the street with ease—there’s truly something for every wardrobe and lifestyle.

Since Leset launched in 2019, I’ve been closely following its rise and the now-iconic pant styles, especially the brand’s best-selling core silhouettes: Barb, Kyoto, Lauren, Margo, and Yoshi. I’ve read countless reviews, watched try-ons, and saved more Instagram posts and TikTok videos than I can count. But somehow, I’d never gotten the chance to try them myself—mostly because they tend to sell out within minutes of restocking. I decided to use my work perks to reach out to the brand and request the five favorites. Keep reading to hear my thoughts about these pants and learn why the desire to own a pair increases each season. The best part? They’ve all just been restocked, so if you’re eyeing a pair, I suggest you grab it fast.

Leset Lauren Pants

My review: I would say the Lauren is Leset’s most popular pant style. Why? Over the years, the brand has designed new iterations while maintaining the name and DNA of the original pants. For example, there are the Lauren Wide-Leg Pants, Lauren Crop Drawstring Pants, Lauren Crop Pleated Pocket Pants, and regular Lauren Pocket Pants, which I have tested. These pants are crafted from a soft, crêpe-like fabric that flows gracefully with every movement, lending an upscale appeal. The design is both practical and comfortable, featuring a gentle pull-on style adorned with sleek side slit pockets and a delicate elastic waistband that hugs without constricting. Although the brand recommends sizing up, I’d suggest sizing down, as they tend to run large.

My review: As I sit on my 15-hour flight to Hong Kong writing this story, I am actually wearing Leset’s Margo Pants. Since I have a lot of time to spare, let me tell you all about them. One way to describe them is essential. If you, like me, have been searching for elevated sweatpants like Rag & Bone’s Miramar pants that don’t look anything like sweatpants, then these are your answer.

The silhouette is described as a straight-leg style, but it’s slightly more relaxed with a subtle shape that resembles a barrel-leg tapering at the ankle. The waist features a comfortable, medium-elastic band, and there are pockets located on the front and back because Leset knows fashion people love practical details. The fabric is a cozy cotton blend that feels high-quality yet keeps me warm, even with the plane’s AC on full blast. While I styled them with a crewneck shrunken sweater and ALO Sunset Sneakers for my flight, I’d also pair them with a more polished look, like a white tee, a leather jacket, and pointed-toe flats to dress them up.

Size range: XS–XL

Colorways: One

Material: 100% cotton

Sizing tip: Size down

Leset Barb Pants

My review: Okay, I may have slightly exaggerated at the top of the story when I said that all pant styles have been restocked—that isn’t the case for the specific Barb Pants I tried on. The pair I received features a high waist, pleats, large pockets, and an elastic waistband only in the back. They’re essentially traditional trousers but have a more refined, draped silhouette and an overall expensive look. What makes them really stand out is a satin material that feels like rich silk, and this fabric is found across all of the Barb styles. The fabric is thick enough that it’s not sheer but still lightweight and breathable, so it doesn’t weigh you down.

In terms of the fit, the Barb Pants run long and slightly large, which is consistent with other Leset pants. I’m 5’1″, and even paired with 1.5-inch heels, they were still dragging on the floor. That said, the elongated leg creates a beautiful drape that makes me appear taller, especially when styled with a fitted top. While my specific style is sold out, I’d still suggest adding any of the Barb pants to your cart, given that they’re chic and comfortable. Plus, fashion people in 2025 are wearing silk and satin pants like these when they want to look elegant without wearing a skirt or dress.

Size range: XS–XL

Materials: Japanese satin (75% triacetate, 25% polyester)

Leset Kyoto Pants

My review: The early 2000s utility-inspired trousers with large pockets are making a comeback, embraced by brands like Nili Lotan, Citizens of Humanity, and Leset. Leset’s Kyoto Barrel Pants are particularly coveted for their great fit. Unlike most other styles from Leset, these have a zipper and hook closure, giving them a more refined appearance. They feature a barrel-leg design that begins at the hips and tapers toward the ankles with a slightly see-through fabric that is less noticeable when worn with tan or beige undergarments. The pants are available in white, khaki, and army green, and these neutral colors are versatile for year-round styling and can be paired with white or black tops as well as bold patterns and bright colors.

Size range: XS–XL

Colorways: Three

Material: 100% cotton

Leset Yoshi Pants

My review: The pajamas-as-daywear trend is here to stay. This past summer, we saw fashion people embracing striped boxer-style shorts and wearing them for everything except sleeping. For spring 2026, I anticipate that home-only clothing will influence how people style themselves. The proof is in Dolce & Gabbana’s S/S 26 collection, where models wore elevated striped pajama-pant sets and black sheer robes. If you’re interested in adopting the cozy aesthetic, start with Leset’s Yoshi Boxer Pants. These feature a wide-leg design that already makes them feel more elevated than traditional pajama pants, a menswear-inspired striped print, cotton twill to maintain their shape, subtle front pleats, and side slit pockets. Again, these pants run long and large, so be sure to size down unless you prefer a looser fit.

Size range: XS–XL

Colorways: One

Materials: 79% cotton, 21% lyocell

Sizing tip: Size down
