7 Fall 2025 Accessory Trends You’re About to Be Obsessed With

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Personal style is at the forefront of the fashion conversation right now, maybe more than ever before—and the biggest fall accessory trends play right into it. Plenty of the most coveted pieces of the season (quirky hats, playful jewelry, doily-like tights) feel special and singular enough to re-energize your look for a new season, even if your everyday dressing is focused on the basics (you can never go wrong with jeans and a tee). No matter what your style journey looks like, we’re willing to bet at least one of the styles below—all of which were major themes on autumn’s runways—will take your wardrobe to the next level. Shop our editor-approved edit here.

Glamour’s fall accessory trends wish list

1. Silver Jewelry

While gold jewelry will always be in style, this season consider setting it aside to try an all-silver toned look. Statement pieces like a long, bold necklace or a pair of structural hoops add a certain dressiness and polish to even the simplest of outfits. Jujuvera’s seashell-shaped necklace has become the runaway hit of the year, but there are plenty of other ways to embrace the trend in a way that fits your personal style.

2. Western redux

The Westernwear look has been sweeping the style scene for several years now. But saddle up, cowgirl, because the look isn’t going anywhere soon. While many brands, like Schaiparelli, Willy Chavarria, and Dsquared2, went all-in on their references—think multilayered belts and 10-gallon hats—you needn’t be too literal to enjoy the look. A gold-and-leather accent, a Western-flavored belt, or a well-placed bandana around the neck or waist should do the trick, especially if you pair it with trendy double denim.

3. Flat boots

Boots for fall, of course, are kind of a no-brainer. But the ones that most align with the fashion zeitgeist have the slimmest soles possible, much like autumn’s trendiest sneakers; Alberta Ferretti showed slightly slouchy stompers juxtaposed with long gowns, while Hermès went for a traditional riding silhouette with the very slightest tread on the bottom. Should you want more of a statement, follow Louis Vuitton’s lead with a shorter shaft; this is also ideal for transitioning your lighter fall dresses into cooler weather.

4. Hats with personality

These days, nothing says you’re serious about style like a silly little chapeau. (Just ask the Copenhagen girls.) There’s a lot of catwalk inspiration to draw from: felt cloches at Miu Miu, tweedy wide-brims at Chanel, leather skullcaps at Sportmax, ’80s-inspired headwear at Vaquera. The general aesthetic is slightly retro, but in a knowing, tongue-in-cheek way. Whether you go for a beret or a newsboy cap, the trick is to integrate it mindfully with the rest of your outfit. An everyday pair of jeans and a white T-shirt can get you by with a simple sailor cap or pillbox hat, but true statement toppers, like striped berets and fur bucket hats, deserve something a little louder. (See our roundup of jacket trends for some outfit inspo.)

5. Lacy tights

The beauty of investing in lingerie-like hosiery is that it rarely costs more than $50 and will instantly transform the look of your dresses and skirts. If you’re feeling bold, test out a colorful pair that nods to recent Gucci styling or go for a white-on-white outfit in the spirit of McQueen; when in doubt, there’s nothing more classic than the sultry black legwear spotted at Balenciaga. Try something similar if you’re looking for a surefire way to revamp your favorite LBD. (Bonus points if you add peep-toe heels.)

6. Objet d’art jewelry

Show your personality this season with a playful statement necklace à la Dries Van Noten, Valentino, and Chanel, or big art-and-crafts earrings, as seen at Moschino, Armani, and Coach. The overarching vibe? If it has the mood of a summer camp project, but reads far more sophisticated, you’re on the right path. Start with these energetic picks that’ll liven up gray knits and dark jeans.

7. Nostalgic bags

Fashion month saw a deluge of reissued and reimagined It bags of yore—including the return of the Chloé Paddington, updated Fendi Baguettes, and more than a few styles paying homage to the minimalist hits of Phoebe Philo’s tenure at Celine. If you’re not ready to invest in the luxury versions, though, the market is full of lower-priced pieces that feel like throwbacks in the best possible way. Flirty shoulder silhouettes, architectural crossbodies, and slouchy satchels are all good places to start.

8. Fur touches

According to fashion’s buzziest brands, wearing faux fur is something of a choose-your-own-adventure situation this fall. You can follow Prada’s lead and go ladylike with a plush collar or scarf (which was itself a major theme in the collections) or opt for something more boho and free-spirited, such as the Muppet-like hobo bags at Gucci. And if you really want to make a major impression, consider trying an oversized trapper hat like those from Etro; the style is so irreverently cool contrasted with a long floaty dress.

Lauren Manoogian Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Spending time in nature does wonders for putting things in perspective. Lauren Manoogian and Chris Fireoved live a nomadic life between the mayhem of New York City and the gentler pace of Peru, where they spend a lot of time in the countryside with artisans: maybe this contributes to the sense of serenity that is a hallmark of their brand. In addition, the use of age-old hand techniques and geometric patterns (whether they relate back to the horizontal panels of traditional ponchos or the T construction of the kimono) creates a sense of continuity with the past.

“Disappearing into nature,” was the starting point for spring—and the idea of hiding from the world seems especially tempting at the moment given the headlines. Intrigued by the “really crazy abstract patterns” you can find in nature, Manoogian created some of her own. Each of the splatter painted cottons was hand done and thus unique. The bark-like pattern, seen in the second look, was created with a “chaos” stitch. It was surprising to discover that the backs of hand-cut fuzzy garments (as in look 6) were neatly geometrical.

In a sense the whole collection was about order and irregularity. The strong shouldered V-silhouette seen in many of the looks was created, Manoogian said, by layering them over the single-button vest top (look 16). This outfit’s neatness contrasted with the asymmetry of an ivory knit dress (look 20), pieced together like a minimal Piet Mondrian. A knit woven with regular squares and cut in a square shape fell in an undisciplined drape; parachute pieces were irregular in their tautness, and Manoogian took advantage of the natural roll of some knit fabrics. The idea, explained Fireoved, was “embracing the imperfections of what handmade actually means.”

14 Types Of Romantic Crushes & What They Mean

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Not to be confused with having more serious feelings for someone, crushes can come in all forms. But while some of us are hopeless romantics that are prone to developing crushes on everyone we meet (yes, you, dear water signs) no one is immune to the potential of a budding romance. By going through our own histories in an excruciating process of self-reflection, we’ve filtered the list down to fourteen kinds of crushes that you might have had (or will have).

9 Fall Sneaker Trends We Can’t Wait to Wear This Season

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Like a cool autumn breeze, fall’s biggest sneaker trends are a breath of fresh air for your everyday wardrobe. The season’s vibe, as my colleagues and I have deduced from scouring the fall runways and spending countless hours walking around New York, is a return to elegant simplicity via slim, sporty, retro designs. Barely-there outsoles elevate casual outfits; track-inspired silhouettes offer nostalgia and walkability; bright pops of color might just convince you to put your white sneakers to rest. These are the biggest sneaker trends my fellow editors and I will be wearing this fall, from chocolate-brown suede to Scandi-girl runners.

1. Chocolate brown

You heard it here first: Fashion people are trading in their stark white kicks for earthy brown sneakers. The neutral is just as effortless to wear—it looks great with white socks, black pants, faded jeans, patterned dresses, and just about everything else—while offering a little more of a risk-taker’s point of view to any outfit. Chocolate brown looks great in suede, and the picks below make the most of the color in easy-to-style silhouettes.

2. Extra-slim soles

All of my favorite sneakers of the moment all feature the absolute thinnest soles possible, and my fellow fashion insiders agree—chunky kicks are on the back burner for now. Ushered in late last year by Dries Van Noten’s streamlined sneakers, available below, the trend has now reached everyone from Reformation to Veronica Beard. I love this silhouette because the loafer-like soles feel more elevated than those of regular sneakers; you can wear a pair with a suit to the office or with a dress on a dinner date without feeling underdressed.

3. Post-Sambas Adidas

Sambas will never be over; if anything, they’ve ascended to the realm of the wardrobe staple. But for those of us who like to change things up with our footwear, it’s time to evolve. And Adidas is on the case, releasing so many archival silhouettes and sought-after collabs that it’s almost impossible to keep up. I’m betting on the Tokyo as the next It shape; invest now to stay well ahead of the curve. Alternatively, one of the brand’s buzzy Wales Bonner collaborations is still in stock, retro releases are readily available, and a folded-tongue take on Sambas has hit shelves. Take your pick.

4. Animal prints

Bold animal prints popped up on countless runways this season, including zebra at Balmain and leopard at Khaite. Some of the most buzzed-about shoes of the entire season, meanwhile, were Miu Miu’s snakeskin sneakers, which added a bit of bite to demure coats and knee-high socks. So whether you deck out your sneaks in python, cheetah, or croc—all faux, of course—your footwear rotation will keep up with fashion’s current edgy, glamorous streak.

5. Retro runners

Everyone needs a good pair of athletic sneakers in their closet, and one of fall’s hottest silhouettes is the ’70s track shoe. Defined by foam midsoles and grippy outsoles, these kicks combine the foot-friendly benefits of walking shoes with the retro charm of vintage sneakers. Heritage styles from Nike, Puma, and Reebok are enjoying a major moment, while Loewe and Tory Burch have released their own takes on the style, meaning we’re in for a lot more of these shoes in the coming months. Style your choice with crew socks for the full throwback effect.

6. Easy plimsolls

The sneaker of choice for both Jane Birkin and prep-school teens, lightweight plimsolls—perhaps the simplest kicks on the market—have charmed the fashion world as fall settles in. With sporty origins and svelte profiles, they fit right in with the rest of the moment’s minimal sneaker trends. Honor the classics with a pair from Keds, Tretorn, or Converse; go with $35 Feiyues to fit in with the growing number of Americans adopting the iconic Chinese-French brand, which is now readily available on Amazon.

7. Sporty high-tops

Boxing shoes have been quietly growing in popularity at the fringes of fashion, popping up in recent runway collections from Stella McCartney and Ann Demeulemeester, plus on stylish celebrities like Lola Tung. And thanks to new releases from Puma, Adidas, and Onitsuka Tiger, they’re finally poised to go mainstream this season. Combining the silhouette of a boot with sneaker soles and sporty side detailing, these shoes more than speak for themselves; a simple skirt or wool shorts will give them plenty of room to breathe.

8. Techy running shoes

While you might associate this genre with your dad, you can thank Scandinavian girls and hiking’s growing influence on fashion for the recent explosion in technical sneakers. Equipped for backcountry runs and city treks alike, these pairs are unapologetically athletic: silver accents, bold colorways, thick soles, large logos. Channel gorpcore with a tank top, a nylon jacket, and track pants, or try your hand at Scandi styling with a chunky cardigan, a full skirt, and an oversized scrunchie. Either way, you’re in for an exceptionally comfortable day.

9. Sneakerinas

The most divisive shoe trend to arrive on my radar has officially hit the big time. Following in the footsteps of labels like Miu Miu and Simone Rocha, which have long offered ballet flat-sneaker hybrids, brands like JW Pei and Jeffrey Campbell are now releasing their takes on the trend. And all of a sudden, they’re everywhere; I can’t take a trip on the subway without seeing someone wearing Puma’s dainty sneakers or Vivaia’s lace-up flats. This is a nice in-between for anyone who loves flats but needs a more walking-friendly option. Pro tip: Ballerina sneakers look especially great with long skirts and baggy jeans.

New York Fashion Week Was Basically a 'Love Island USA' Reunion

by jummy84 September 18, 2025

After spending two months shackled to the unhealthy obsession that was “Love Island USA” Season 7, most fans (ahem, me) assumed that once fall came around, they could move on to new interests (such as “Love Island Games” Season 2). New York Fashion Week, however, had different plans: Islanders were …

Iris Law’s Unexpected Color Combo Is So Fresh for 2026

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

In the fashion world, certain things just go together like PB&J. A T-shirt and jeans. Black and white. Leggings and sneakers. A trench coat and rain boots. I’d venture to say that Iris Law’s newest color combo, however, is not at the top of anyone’s list of classic pairings—but that’s exactly what makes it cool. Why blend in when you can stand out? She defied expectations by teaming two unexpected hues on the red carpet, and I have a feeling she’ll inspire others to quickly follow suit.

Supporting her father, Jude Law, at the premiere of his new limited series, Black Rabbit, the younger Law wore head-to-toe Miu Miu, including a chocolate brown keyhole top and a marigold yellow pencil skirt. Admit it: You’ve never thought to wear these specific shades of brown and yellow together, have you? If you’re ready to give it a try, you certainly don’t have to invest in a full Miu Miu wardrobe. Scroll down to shop some Law-inspired pieces in our color combo du jour, and be prepared for the compliments to start rolling in.
