bitchy | RFK Jr: Babies who are circumcised get autism at a higher rate because of Tylenol

Just this week, six former Surgeons General blasted Robert Kennedy Jr. for “endangering the health of the nation.” Jerome Adams, Richard Carmona, Joycelyn Elders, Vivek Murthy, Antonia Novello and David Satcher coauthored a Washington Post op-ed, trying to raise the alarm yet again that Kennedy is an extremely dangerous person and he should be nowhere near health policy and vaccine policy. They wrote, in part, that “the profound, immediate and unprecedented threat that Kennedy’s policies and positions pose to the nation’s health cannot be ignored.” Well, on Thursday, during Donald Trump’s cabinet meeting, Kennedy went off on a truly bonkers rant about babies in placentas, Tylenol and circumcision.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has claimed that children who are circumcised have double the rate of autism, most likely because they are taking Tylenol. In a wild rant during a Trump cabinet meeting on Thursday, the controversial Health Secretary also suggested some pregnant women were taking the pain relief drug just to spite the president, and accused them of having pathological levels of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“This morning before I came in here, somebody showed me a TikTok video of a pregnant woman. She is an associate professor at Columbia Medical School, and she is saying “F Trump” and gobbling Tylenol with her baby in her placenta,” Kennedy said, confusing the temporary organ with a uterus. “The level of Trump Derangement Syndrome has now left political landscapes and it is now in the realm of pathology.”

The comments came three weeks after Trump and Kennedy held a controversial press conference in which they suggested that Tylenol—the brand name for the highly popular medication otherwise known as acetaminophen—may be linked to autism. This came despite recent large-scale studies finding no causal link between using the drug during pregnancy and having autism spectrum disorder. Medical groups such as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Academy of Pediatrics have also stated that acetaminophen is safe to use as directed during that time.

But Kennedy doubled down on Thursday, and even cited a new link between Tylenol and autism: circumcision.

“Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it’s highly likely because they’re given Tylenol,” he said. Trump insisted that “there’s a tremendous amount of proof or evidence, I would say as a non-doctor” to back up Kennedy’s suggestion. “I’ve studied this a long time ago,” he added.

But Erik Polyak, executive director of health advocacy group 314 Action, said it was “peak clownery” for RFK Jr. and Trump giving medical advice, “if clowns were allowed to wreck our health care. Their expertise comes from binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy—no one should ever take medical advice from these two. Their ‘findings’ are like a game of Mad-Libs, picking random words and stringing them together to sow fear and chaos. RFK Jr. is a disgrace to the scientific and medical community and it’s beyond time for him to leave office, before it’s too late.”

[From The Daily Beast]

As soon as the words “gobbling Tylenol with her baby in her placenta” were uttered, Kennedy should have been locked out of every federal building. These despicable old men don’t know the first thing about women’s bodies, reproductive systems, science, otc medication or anything else. This is a complete nightmare.

RFK Jr: “Somebody showed me a TikTok video of a pregnant woman at 8 months pregnant — she’s an associate professor at the Columbia Medical School — and she is saying ‘F Trump’ and gobbling Tylenol with her baby in her placenta. The level of Trump Derangement Syndrome is now a pathology.”

RFK Jr on Tylenol and autism: “It is not proof. We’re doing the studies to make the proof.”

— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) October 9, 2025 at 12:57 PM

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

“Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it’s highly likely because they’re given Tylenol. None of this is positive…”

Movie Trailer, Release Date & More – Hollywood Life

Welcome back to Freddy Fazbear’s. The upcoming sequel to Blumhouse and Universal Pictures’ Five Nights at Freddy’s will be released in December 2025. To hold fans over, producer Jason Blum appeared at Las Vegas’ CinemaCon in April 2025 — wearing a serial-killing animatronic costume, no less — to debut the trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. But Blumhouse’s New York Comic Con panel featured even more thrilling surprises! And fans can look forward to its original star returning for the second film: Josh Hutcherson.

Below, Hollywood Life has gathered all the details you need to know about FNAF 2!

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Release Date

The Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel will be released on December 5, 2025, its official trailer revealed.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Trailer

Thanks to Blumhouse’s CinemaCon debut, fans were finally able to watch the sequel’s trailer. In comparison to the first film, FNAF 2 has plenty more jump scares and horrors, as seen in the teaser. Josh’s character, Mike, has his hands full with protecting everyone around him from the terror of Freddy Fazbear’s murderous animatronics.

How to Watch Five Nights at Freddy’s 2

Although the first FNAF was released on both Peacock and in theaters, the second movie has an exclusive theatrical release, meaning that fans can watch it in theaters.

How Can I Stream Five Nights at Freddy’s 2?

It’s currently unclear when FNAF 2 will be released to a streaming platform. Since we’re months away from its theatrical release, Universal Pictures has not declared a streaming date yet.

Since the first FNAF is available to watch on Peacock, the sequel is expected to be released via the same platform.

Who Is in the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Cast?

While Josh leads FNAF 2, he’s accompanied by several talented cast members. Horror icon Matthew Lillard — who is also returning to the Scream franchise for the seventh installment — is reprising his role as William Afton, the first film’s villain.

Piper Rubio is also returning as Mike’s little sister, Abby Schmidt, as is Elizabeth Lail, who plays local police officer Vanessa: the daughter of William. Actress McKenna Grace also joined the cast.

At New York Comic Con, Blumhouse revealed that Megan Fox joined the cast as the voice of Toy Chica.

Will There Be a Five Nights at Freddy’s 3?

Per Movieweb, Matthew confirmed that he signed a three-picture deal for FNAF. So, if the sequel performs well at the box office, fans can likely expect a third movie to come out.

Diane Keaton, Oscar-winning star of ‘Annie Hall’ and ‘The Godfather,’ dies at 79 – National

by jummy84 October 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Diane Keaton, the Oscar-winning star of “Annie Hall,” “The Godfather” films and “Father of the Bride,” whose quirky, vibrant manner and depth made her one of the most singular actors of a generation, has died. She was 79.

People Magazine reported Saturday that she died in California with loved ones, citing a family spokesperson. No other details were immediately available, and representatives for Keaton did not immediately respond to inquiries from The Associated Press.

The unexpected news was met with shock around the world.

“She was hilarious, a complete original, and completely without guile, or any of the competitiveness one would have expected from such a star. What you saw was who she was…oh, la, lala!,” Bette Midler said in a post on Instagram. She and Keaton co-starred in “The First Wives Club.”

Keaton was the kind of actor who helped make films iconic and timeless, from her “La-dee-da, la-dee-da” phrasing as Annie Hall, bedecked in that necktie, bowler hat, vest and khakis, to her heartbreaking turn as Kay Adams, the woman unfortunate enough to join the Corleone family.

Her star-making performances in the 1970s, many of which were in Woody Allen films, were not a flash in the pan either, and she would continue to charm new generations for decades thanks in part to a longstanding collaboration with filmmaker Nancy Meyers.

She played a businessperson who unexpectedly inherits an infant in “Baby Boom,” the mother of the bride in the beloved remake of “Father of the Bride,” a newly single woman in “The First Wives Club,” and a divorced playwright who gets involved with Jack Nicholson’s music executive in “Something’s Gotta Give.”

Keaton won her first Oscar for “Annie Hall” and would go on to be nominated three more times, for “Reds,” “Marvin’s Room” and “Something’s Gotta Give.”

In her very Keaton way, upon accepting her Oscar in 1978 she laughed and said, “This is something.”

A child of Hollywood breaks through in New York

Keaton was born Diane Hall in January 1946 in Los Angeles, though her family was not part of the film industry she would find herself in. Her mother was a homemaker and photographer, and her father was in real estate and civil engineering.

Keaton was drawn to theater and singing while in school in Santa Ana, California, and she dropped out of college after a year to make a go of it in Manhattan. Actors’ Equity already had a Diane Hall in their ranks, and she took Keaton, her mother’s maiden name, as her own.

She studied under Sanford Meisner in New York and has credited him with giving her the freedom to “chart the complex terrain of human behavior within the safety of his guidance. It made playing with fire fun.”

“More than anything, Sanford Meisner helped me learn to appreciate the darker side of behavior,” she wrote in her 2012 memoir, “Then Again.” “I always had a knack for sensing it but not yet the courage to delve into such dangerous, illuminating territory.”

She started on the stage as an understudy in the Broadway production for “Hair,” and in Allen’ s “Play It Again, Sam” in 1968, for which she would receive a Tony nomination. And yet she remained deeply self-conscious about her appearance and battled bulimia in her 20s.

Becoming a star with “The Godfather” and Woody Allen

Keaton made her film debut in the 1970 romantic comedy “Lovers and Other Strangers,” but her big breakthrough would come a few years later when she was cast in Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather,” which won best picture and become one of the most beloved films of all time. And yet even she hesitated to return for the sequel, though after reading the script she decided otherwise.

She summed up her role as Kay, a “role she never related to” even though she savored memories of acting with Al Pacino.

Story continues below advertisement

The 1970s were an incredibly fruitful time for Keaton thanks in part to her ongoing collaboration with Allen in both comedic and dramatic roles. She appeared in “Sleeper,” “Love and Death,” “Interiors,” Manhattan,” “Manhattan Murder Mystery” and the film version of “Play it Again, Sam.”

Allen and the late Marshall Brickman gave Keaton one of her most iconic roles in “Annie Hall,” the infectious woman from Chippewa Falls whom Allen’s Alvy Singer cannot get over. The film is considered one of the great romantic comedies of all time, with Keaton’s eccentric, self-deprecating Annie at its heart.

In the New York Times, critic Vincent Canby wrote, “As Annie Hall, Miss Keaton emerges as Woody Allen’s Liv Ullman. His camera finds beauty and emotional resources that somehow escape the notice of other directors. Her Annie Hall is a marvelous nut.”

She acknowledged parallels between Annie Hall and real life, while also downplaying them.

“My last name is Hall. Woody and I did share a significant romance, according to me, anyway,” she wrote. “I did want to be a singer. I was insecure, and I did grope for words.”

Keaton and Allen were also in a romantic relationship, from about 1968, when she met him while auditioning for his play, until about 1974. Afterward they remained collaborators and friends.

“He was so hip, with his thick glasses and cool suits,” Keaton wrote in her memoir. “But it was his manner that got me, his way of gesturing, his hands, his coughing and looking down in a self-deprecating way while he told jokes.”

She was also romantically linked to Pacino, who played her husband in “The Godfather,” and Warren Beatty who directed her and whom she co-starred with in “Reds.” She never married but did adopt two children when she was in her 50s: a daughter, Dexter, and a son, Duke.

“I figured the only way to realize my number-one dream of becoming an actual Broadway musical comedy star was to remain an adoring daughter. Loving a man, a man, and becoming a wife, would have to be put aside,” she wrote in the memoir.

“The names changed, from Dave to Woody, then Warren, and finally Al. Could I have made a lasting commitment to them? Hard to say. Subconsciously I must have known it could never work, and because of this they’d never get in the way of achieving my dreams.”

When Keaton met Nancy Meyers

Not all of Keaton’s roles were home runs, like her foray into action in George Roy Hill’s John le Carré adaptation of “Little Drummer Girl.” But in 1987 she’d begin another long-standing collaboration with Nancy Meyers, which would result in four beloved films. Reviews for that first outing, “Baby Boom,” directed by Charles Shyer, might have been mixed at the time but Pauline Kael even described Keaton’s as a “glorious comedy performance that rides over many of the inanities.”

Their next team-up would be in the remake of “Father of the Bride,” which Shyer directed and co-wrote with Meyers. She and Steve Martin played the flustered parents to the bride which would become a big hit and spawn a sequel.

Story continues below advertisement

In 2003, Meyers would direct her in “Something’s Gotta Give,” a romantic comedy in which she begins a relationship with a playboy womanizer, played by Jack Nicholson, while also being pursued by a younger doctor, played by Keanu Reeves. Her character Erica Barry, with her beautiful Hamptons home and ivory outfits was a key inspiration for the recent costal grandmother fashion trend. It earned her what would be her last Oscar nomination and, later, she’d call it her favorite film.

She also directed occasionally, with works including an episode of “Twin Peaks,” a Belinda Carlisle music video and the sister dramedy “Hanging Up,” which she co-wrote with Delia Ephron and starred in alongside Meg Ryan and Lisa Kudrow.

Keaton continued working steadily throughout the 2000s, with notable roles in “The Family Stone,” as a dying matriarch reluctant to give her ring to her son, in “Morning Glory,” as a morning news anchor, and the “Book Club” films.

She wrote several books as well, including memoirs “Then Again” and “Let’s Just Say It Wasn’t Pretty,” and an art and design book, “The House that Pinterest Built.”

Keaton was celebrated with an AFI Life Achievement Award in 2017, telling the AP at the time that it was a surreal experience.

“I feel like it’s the wedding I never had, or the big gathering I never had, or the retirement party I never had, or all these things that I always avoided – the big bash,” she said. “It’s really a big event for me and I’m really, deeply grateful.”

Story continues below advertisement

In 2022, she “cemented” her legacy with a hand and footprint ceremony outside the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, with her children looking on.

“I don’t think about my film legacy,” she said at the event. “I’m just lucky to have been here at all in any way, shape or form. I’m just fortunate. I don’t see myself anything other than that.”

Kate Cassidy ‘didn’t want to live’ after Liam Payne’s death

11 October 2025

Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy “didn’t want to live” following his death.

Kate Cassidy fell into a deep depression after her boyfriend Liam Payne’s death last year

The former One Direction singer tragically died at the age of 31 in October 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina and the influencer has revealed that she fell into a deep depression in the aftermath.

Kate told Page Six at a National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) benefit: “I was always just kind of doing nothing and just dealing with that grief and pain, just not wanting to really live my life.”

She explained that it took her several weeks to realise that she needed to restore a sense of structure to her life again.

Cassidy said: “I finally realised, ok, I need to live my life, I need to get up, get out of bed.”

The 26-year-old influencer recalled how she started by setting an alarm to get out of bed one hour earlier each day and began “working out” and “eating clean” and continues to do so for the sake of her mental health.

She said: “I like to always be up early, have a workout class planned, go for a nice walk, eat cleaner. I feel like, for me, being active, always keeps my mind so much cleaner and healthier.”

Kate paid a touching tribute to Liam ahead of the first anniversary of his passing next week as she described him as “the best person I ever met”.

The influencer said: “He lit up any room. He was just so sweet, so funny. I’ve never met anybody like him, and I’m sure I probably won’t ever meet anybody like him in my life.

“In a way, I am actually glad that he’s just going to be that one person. He was the best person I ever met.”

Meanwhile, Liam’s One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson described his death as “unjust and frustrating” earlier this week and confessed that the What Makes You Beautiful band’s upcoming 15th anniversary felt “uncomfortable” in the wake of the tragedy.

Speaking to Rolling Stone UK magazine, Louis said: “It was really uncomfortable, actually, the 15th anniversary, because the [collective] feeling to celebrate is as important, if not more important than ever, on behalf of Liam.”

Louis – who was put together in 1D with Liam, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik on The X Factor UK – admitted marking the band’s formation in the past made him feel “sick of nostalgia”, but doing so earlier this year “brought up those feelings” he’s been dealing with since his friend’s death.

He added: “You know, there’s still a level in my head [where it feels] unjust and frustrating that he’s not with us anymore.

“So, it just brought up those feelings, although I’m still living with them anyway.”

Diane Keaton Health Before Death: Skin Cancer, Bulimia Battles

The Family Stone star would eat 20,000 calories a day, only to throw up, saying, “Typical dinner was a bucket of chicken, several orders of fries with blue cheese and ketchup, a couple TV dinners, a quart of soda, pounds of candy, a whole cake and three banana cream pies.”

Keaton eventually got into recovery for her eating disorder.

“Somebody mentioned that I seemed to have some mental issues, so I went to an analyst,” she said. “I would go five days a week.”

And while she admitted to initially lying to her specialist, Keaton—who adopted daughter Dexter, 29, and son Duke, 25, in her 50s—went on to get candid about her struggles.

“I have nothing to hide. It’s not relevant, but for me it feels good,” she wrote in her 2011 book Then Again, per the NY Daily News. “I think I’m a sister to all the rest of the women, and I’m sure men as well, who have had some kind of eating disorder, and I’m a part of the team.”

According to booking records obtained by theJasmineBrand (@the.jasmine.brand), the couple’s bail was set at $50,000. They were arrested by local Maryland police late Thursday and booked on multiple financial-related charges, including several felony counts tied to allegedly providing false or misleading information.

bitchy | Royalist: King Charles’s health is in significant decline & they’re covering it up

by jummy84 October 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Last night in London, King Charles and Prince William stepped out for a rare joint appearance at a pre-COP30 event at the Natural History Museum. I covered it separately, analyzing the messaging being sent and talking about William’s plans to travel to Brazil next month. I mentioned that Charles looked like hell at the event. He seemed perky enough at Windsor Castle last month, when he hosted the Trumps for their state visit. But Charles had a very busy summer overall, and you can tell just by looking at him that he’s not well-rested or in the best of health. Well, in his Royalist Substack, Tom Sykes wrote about Charles’s appearance, weight loss and the palace “coverup” over the king’s health. Some highlights:

Sykes’ horror at Charles’s appearance: I was horrified by photographs that have emerged in the last few hours of the King at a joint engagement with his son, the Prince of Wales, in London for the COP30 climate summit….It’s impossible to look at these images without seeing how much King Charles’s health has declined. The man’s suit is falling off him. The Palace line tonight is that he would have gone to Brazil “if his schedule allowed.” But the truth, as these astonishing new images attest, is that his illness is taking a heavier toll than the institution will admit.

The Orwellian propaganda over the king’s health: Charles has shown extraordinary courage. He has been an example to millions living with cancer, proving that one can keep working, engaging, and enjoying life. In many ways, nothing has animated him more than doing his job of being King. But the attempt to play down the severity of his condition is becoming totally unsustainable. As I have noted before, the BBC and the mainstream British media have been compliant to the Palace’s Orwellian Ministry of Truth-style counter-factual agenda. It’s not just cowardice; they are bound by privacy laws that emerged from the Leveson Inquiry. Under those rules, the media cannot publish details of someone’s health without consent. A senior editor once explained to me that even if they knew the King had bladder cancer—he does not—they could not report it.

Charles tires easily: The intelligence I am getting from sources close to the King is that he remains intellectually sharp and full of enthusiasm, but tires quickly. He is said to sleep far more than he used to. Friends describe him as still “brilliant,” but “exhausted.” The family, especially Camilla, is deeply worried. She herself, I’m told, has had health problems that have made this year especially difficult.

They pump him full of steroids: Still, there has been no question of giving up. The foreign tours to Samoa and Australia went ahead; the grueling domestic day trips, the state dinners, the late-night outings to the ballet and theater appearances, the investitures—he’s done them all. It has been extraordinary (although some have told me that steroids have played a part). But the new images puncture the illusion of inexhaustibility.

Demise-planning: The Palace, meanwhile, is quietly engaged in what it calls “demise planning.” The funeral arrangements have been, as one would expect, refreshed. Those of us whose reading extends beyond the work of the royal rota know, for example, that Harry and Meghan will not be excluded; in fact, they will be invited to play a “prominent” role when the day comes.

Why it’s important to talk about Charles’s health: This all underscores a point I’ve made before: Discussing the death of a king is a legitimate matter of public interest. The hereditary principle demands it; and now that Charles has told us he has cancer, and his aides have admitted it is incurable, it is frankly an insult to intelligence to try and suppress reporting of it. Charles himself—his condition, his mortality—is the key to understanding everything that is happening in the royal family right now: Harry’s urgency to reconcile, William’s resistance to that reconciliation, the tension between the brothers over how their father’s legacy will be managed.

The other royals are thinking about Scooter King’s reign as well: Camilla—tolerated by William for stability, but never loved—faces the classic dowager questions: what house, what purse, what power? That, in turn, helps explain the pressure on Prince Andrew to vacate Royal Lodge. I’m told Andrew aims to “run out the clock,” calculating that evicting a stubborn prince from a crumbling palace will drop down William’s list of priorities when the reign changes.

[From The Royalist Substack]

I actually appreciate that Sykes slipped in those two nuggets of gossip about Camilla. Camilla has been especially quiet for months, and whenever we see her, she also looks like she’s in terrible health. Camilla is likely dealing with her own health issues, but she expects to survive her husband and so she’s also preparing for the Mad Scooter King’s reign and how he’ll deal with her. I imagine Charles has also made some financial preparations for Camilla too, don’t you think? The Dowager Queen Consort is going to shuffle off to Ray Mill and that will be that. I also agree with Sykes that everything being done by Harry, William, Camilla, and the rest of the family should be seen through the prism of Charles’s worsening condition.

Sykes also went off on the same old tangent about Harry wanting to make a “deal” with Charles before it’s too late (I didn’t include it in these excerpts because it’s stupid). It never occurs to these royalists that Harry simply wants to reconcile with his father because despite everything, Harry just loves his dad and wants to spend time with Charles before the end. Harry is the only one putting a time frame on it too – he seemed to indicate to the Guardian that he believes Charles really only has a year left.

Emergency Landing As Plane Nearly Runs Out Of Fuel

by jummy84 October 11, 2025

Chiiile… not the whole plane running on fumes! What was supposed to be a routine Ryanair flight from Italy to Scotland turned into a mid-air thriller. This had passengers clutching armrests and praying for a safe landing. Let’s just say… this was not your average turbulence, and baby, the plane was not okay.

From Italy To Panic At 30,000 Feet

On October 3, Ryanair flight FR3418, operated by Malta Air, reportedly left Pisa, Italy, headed for Glasgow Prestwick Airport in Scotland. But what was meant to be a peaceful journey turned into a chaotic ordeal when the plane was forced to declare a mid-air emergency. The flight even used squawk code 7700 — a distress signal that basically screams, “Houston…we got a problem.” Apparently, that problem was likely a fuel emergency.

Storms Hit, Landings Fail, Passengers Start Praying

And, it gets worse — the Boeing 737 tried not once, not twice, but three separate times to land. High winds from Storm Amy made it impossible to safely touch down at either Prestwick or Edinburgh airports. One passenger, still shaken, told the Daily Mail, “The three failed landings were like something you’d watch in a disaster movie… I remember thinking, ‘Is this it?’” Another described people on board praying, with children crying as the plane struggled to find a safe landing zone.

After nearly two hours of circling and re-routing, the flight finally landed at Manchester Airport. But, not before running dangerously low on fuel. According to The Aviation Herald, the plane touched down with only 220kg of fuel in its tanks — just enough to fly for five to six minutes. For context: airlines are legally required to carry at least 30 minutes’ worth of reserve fuel. Alexander Marchi, another shaken flyer, shared that passengers had no idea how bad things were until they saw news coverage after landing. “There was a lot of relief. People were wanting to get off and definitely were not up for flying any time soon, but there was no panic.”

An investigation has been launched after a Ryanair flight came within six minutes of ‘running out of fuel’ mid-air. The flight was heading to Glasgow’s Prestwick Airport from Pisa in Italy on October 3 when it issued a ‘fuel Mayday’ and made an emergency landing in Manchester. It came as Storm Amy brought winds of up to 100mph, sparking transport chaos across the country.  #flight #flightradar #stormamy #storm #plane

Officials Step In After Fuel Scare

Now, after all that mid-air madness, Ryanair’s speaking out. The flight company issued a statement saying the incident has been reported to authorities and is now under investigation.

“Ryanair reported this to the relevant authorities on Friday (3 Oct). As this is now the subject of an ongoing investigation, which we are cooperating fully with, we are unable to comment,”  the airline shared.

Additionally, the U.K.’s Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has since launched a full inquiry. They’ve also confirmed they are “gathering evidence” on what exactly went down. The organization told the Herald:

“The AAIB has commenced an investigation into a serious incident involving an aircraft which was diverted from Prestwick to Manchester Airport on Friday, 3 October. AAIB Inspectors have begun making enquiries and gathering evidence.”

Does the Former President Have Cancer? – Hollywood Life

Former President Joe Biden has revealed a significant health development: he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Concerns about Biden’s condition have grown following an official statement from his personal office. “Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms,” the statement read.

While full details are still unfolding, the news has sparked widespread concern and speculation about what this means for Biden’s long-term health. Here’s what we know so far, and the latest updates on Biden’s cancer diagnosis.

What Cancer Does Joe Biden Have?

Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones. The diagnosis was confirmed on May 16, 2025, following medical evaluations prompted by increasing urinary symptoms. His medical team reported a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5), indicating a high-grade malignancy.

In a statement released by his personal office, it was noted, “While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management.”

The statement added, “The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”

In October 2025, a rep for the former president told People he was undergoing radiation therapy as well as hormone treatment as part of his treatment.

How Old Is Joe Biden?

Biden is currently 82 years old. He was born on November 20, 1942.

During his time in office, Biden became the oldest president in U.S. history, assuming the role at age 78 and leaving office at 82. He later withdrew from the 2024 presidential race, citing some health concerns.

Joe Biden’s Health History

Biden has faced several health challenges throughout his life. In 1988, he suffered two life-threatening brain aneurysms and underwent successful surgery. He later described the experience as a defining moment in his life and political career. Over the years, Biden has also been treated for non-serious ailments such as acid reflux, seasonal allergies, and atrial fibrillation—a type of irregular heartbeat that has been managed without medication.

Throughout his presidency, Biden’s annual physical exams generally described him as a “healthy, vigorous 80-year-old male,” while noting manageable conditions like spinal arthritis and peripheral neuropathy (numbness in the feet). His 2023 health report indicated stable vital signs and no significant cognitive issues.

In February 2024, Biden underwent another routine physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. According to his physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the evaluation revealed no new concerns, and Biden was declared “fit for duty.”
