bitchy | Sam McKnight: Stop attacking ‘vulnerable young woman’ Princess Kate
The pro-royal community certainly wants to have it both ways. They want to crow about how the Princess of Wales’s new hair “broke the internet” and became one of the big pop culture stories of the week. They also want to pretend that everyone is “attacking” a poor innocent 43-year-old child who has never done one cruel or racist thing in her life! For the record, I AM concerned, just not in an “infantilizing Kate” way. I’m concerned about Kate because I think she’s been in a frightful state for the past two years and it really doesn’t look like her family is helping her or caring for her whatsoever. I’m concerned because even with a half-dozen luxury vacations this year, Kate looks like she hasn’t gotten a decent night’s sleep in months. I’m concerned because the people around Kate let her step outside yesterday with that bronde/caramel doll wig perched on her head and no one helped her. Well, Princess Diana’s former hairstylist said words about all of the “nasty comments” about Kate’s hair.
Princess Diana’s former hairstylist is weighing in on Kate Middleton’s headline-making new look. After hints of a hair transformation during a brief appearance in August, Thursday’s outing confirmed that the Princess of Wales is now sporting lengthy, highlighted tresses — her blondest and longest style ever. The change prompted a wide range of commentary online, including from hairstylist-to-the-stars Sam McKnight, who served as Princess Diana’s personal hairstylist from 1990 until her tragic death in 1997.
In a strongly-worded post on Instagram, McKnight called out anyone criticizing Kate’s look.
“I am shocked, horrified, dismayed and disgusted by all the nasty comments about the Princess of Wales today,” he wrote. “A woman’s hair is very personal to her, it’s armour, defence, confidence and so much more. I cannot believe how evil and lacking in any kind of empathy are the comments, the majority made apparently by other women, attacking a vulnerable other young woman, who has no choice, by dint of who she married, and the role she took on, to bravely face the public,” McKnight continued.
McKnight also referenced Princess Kate’s cancer treatment and recovery in his message.
“I’m sure she would rather be away from the public arena. She has brilliantly and quietly, unselfishly represented our country, the soft power we still have as a nation. Cancer affects individuals differently, but is life-changing for everyone. So FFS LEAVE HER ALONE. SHAME ON YOU,” he wrote.
Again, they want it both ways – “Kate broke the internet/she’s our perfect popular princess/she gets all of this attention for just stepping outside” AND they want to react this way when people notice that Kate rocked up to an event with a really cheap-looking hairpiece. By talking about Kate’s hair (and it is HER hair, she paid for it), we’re actually having a larger conversation about how the royal institution chews up and destroys women. We’re having a larger conversation about what fourteen years in the institution has done to Kate’s physical and mental health. I’m honestly getting a real sense of deja vu to the fall of 2023. I genuinely hope we’re not on the verge of another months-long disappearance.

Dionne Warwick doesn’t hold her tongue—and her latest post proves it once again. After undergoing surgery, the legendary singer took to X to let the people know she’s on the hunt for some good streaming recommendations to watch as she recovers. But there’s just one that Auntie immediately shut down: ‘Emily in Paris.’

Dionne Warwick Doesn’t Watch Just Anything!
Dionne Warwick hopped on social media recently to ask for movie and show recommendations while she recovers from emergency leg surgery—but made it very clear one show won’t be making the cut. The shade was light, but it definitely landed. While she didn’t go into detail about the procedure, fans are sending love and well-wishes for a smooth recovery. As for ‘Emily in Paris?’ Dionne didn’t spill the tea on why it’s a no for her, but one thing about Ms. Warwick? She’s gonna keep it cute, classy, and just the right amount of petty. Now somebody send Auntie some bangers to binge!
“As most of you may know, I’ve had to cancel a few shows due to emergency leg surgery. I’m doing okay, do not worry! However, I need some show/movie recommendations while on the mend. Not Emily in Paris. Love you all,” the icon shared to X.
Social Media Is Cuttin’ UP!
Fans ran to The Shade Room’s comment section after Dionne Warwick’s post, calling her the unexpected comedy queen we didn’t know we needed. Some joked that someone needs to take her phone ASAP, while others rushed to defend ‘Emily in Paris,’ claiming it’s their show and Auntie might’ve gone too far! Either way, the internet is eating it up—and Dionne’s unfiltered posts continue to be the gift that keeps on giving.
One Instagram user @_thiskellss._ said, “Honey, I love Emily in Paris that is one of my favorite shows“
This Instagram user @_.haya_honor added, “Emily in Paris was so good lol Virgin River as a honorable mention lol“
And, Instagram user @hiimnanii wrote, “Mind you she 84 and still on twitter throwing shade 😂😂😂”
Then, Instagram user @fitts2458 shared, “She is hilarious!!!! I’m so glad they let her use the internet. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂”
Meanwhile, Instagram user @_kayyart commented, “I like Emily In Paris 😂”
Finally, Instagram user @pytleeleeg said, “I’ve never seen or heard her say anything positive at that old age. SMH.“
Dionne Warwick Stay Steppin’ On Necks
The internet was gagged, back in May, when Ms. Dionne Warwick herself popped out on X to clear something up! A viral tweet from [Darius Amore] had folks thinking she was out here hitting the DC Pride stage in a sparkly silver dress, blue coat, and knee-high boots—very much giving diva energy. The post read, “DC Pride booking Dionne Warwick for Pride is kind of iconic idk,” with Dionne’s classic hit ‘Walk On By’ playing over the clip. The crowd was eating it UP, and to be fair, LeToya Luckett‘s short blonde bob had folks doing a double take—it was giving signature Dionne, okay! But Auntie said hold up, let’s not get it twisted!

What Do You Think Roomies?
Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber have been friends since they were young kids in 2009. They struck up a brief romance at the end of 2015 and beginning of 2016 before getting back together for good in May 2018. The reconciliation led to an engagement that July, followed by a courthouse wedding in September.
Even though Justin and Hailey have now been happily married for several years, fans have continued to wonder whether or not there was ever any overlap in his relationship with Hailey and his on/off romance with ex Selena Gomez. Hailey set the record straight during her interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, confirming that Justin and Selena were not together when she reconciled with Justin in the spring of 2018. Although Justin and Selena had been spotted hanging out on a number of occasions from October 2017 to March 2018, Hailey insisted that it was just them “closing the door” on their relationship.
Just two weeks after the interview — in which Hailey also confirmed she has spoken with Selena since getting married — the two women posed for photos together at the Academy Museum’s 2nd annual gala. Selena and Hailey were all smiles as they cozied up for the snaps, proven there’s zero drama between them.
The “I Do” singer puts his leading lady first, and proved it once again when he defended her against fans of his relationship with ex Selena Gomez. Justin quickly clapped back at a fan video urging fans to “go after” Hailey via social media. “This sad excuse of a human just encouraged people on video to literally go after my wife telling people to say that my previous relationship was better so on and so forth,” he wrote. “It is extremely hard to choose the high road when I see people like this try and rally to gather people to bully the person I love most in this world. It is not right,” he also said.
Let’s take a look back at Justin and Hailey’s relationship timeline from the early aughts to now.
First Memories Together

After meeting in 2009 and hanging out on certain occasions in 2014, Justin and Hailey were first romantically linked when they appeared to look much closer in Miami in 2015. The sighting stirred up speculation of a romance, as they enjoyed laying out by a pool and jet skiing. It was around this time that they also went on a vacation to Anguilla with Justin’s family. They celebrated the New Year together, ringing in 2016 with a kiss that popped up on social media. However, the relationship was short-lived, as they split just a few months into 2016.
Reuniting In 2018

After his split from Hailey, Justin briefly dating Sofia Richie in the summer of 2016. By the fall of 2017, though, he was linked to Selena once again when they were spotted on a bike ride together after her split from The Weeknd. They were seen on various dates over the next several months, with their last public acknowledgment of each other on March 1, 2018, when Selena wished Justin a happy birthday.
Less than two months later, Justin and Hailey were spotted together again. The timing had fans confused, with Jelena shippers accusing Hailey of home-wrecking Selena and Justin’s relationship. Hailey shut this down in Sept. 2022 during her Call Her Daddy interview. In addition to revealing that she never hooked up with Justin while he was with Selena, she also clarified what was going on between Justin and Selena during this time when the public thought they were back together.
“I understand how it looks from the outside, and there’s a lot of perception there, but that was a situation where I know, for a fact, that it was the right thing for them to close the door,” Hailey explained. “As a woman, I would never want to get into a relationship with someone and be engaged to them and get married to them and think, in the back of my mind, ‘I wonder if that [chapter] was really closed for you.’ And I know for a fact that the reason we were able to get back together is because it was very much, completely closed.”
The 2018 reunion brought on many outings that were full of PDA, proving their romance was back on and stronger than ever. From coffee dates, like the one above, to more vacations – this time only with each other – they were back in full force.
Engagement

Shortly after reconnecting in June 2018, Justin proposed to Hailey in July while they were on vacation in the Bahamas. The blonde beauty was first spotted wearing a gigantic diamond ring on July 8 and one day later, on July 9, Justin took to Instagram to share the happy news. “Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly,” part of his announcement read.
Once they went public with their engagement, the duo proudly expressed even more PDA whenever they were out and about, including during a fun outing in Aug., which can be seen in the pic above, and when they attended New York Fashion Week in early Sept. Their time to get hitched couldn’t come soon enough!
Legally Married

Justin and Hailey shocked everyone when they became legally married without a wedding during a visit to a New York courthouse on Sept. 13, 2018. They eventually revealed that they would plan an official wedding ceremony and reception for close family and friends when the time was right, but they were definitely already in post-marriage bliss from the moment they legally said “I do”. In Dec. 2018, they took part in a wedding style photo shoot, which can be seen in the pic above.
Official Wedding

After continuing to enjoy being newlyweds, a little over a year after they legally got hitched, Justin and Hailey had a lavish wedding ceremony and reception with their closest family and friends in South Carolina on Sept. 30, 2019. The adoring groom looked incredibly handsome in a classy suit and the blushing bride looked stunningly beautiful in a figure-flattering white gown and long veil. After the memorable event, they shared photos and videos of the special time they had together and it was truly inspiring and loving to see!
1 Year Anniversary
The pair celebrated the one-year anniversary of their South Carolina wedding in Sept. 2020 with romantic posts! They both shared stunning black and white photos of their wedding day on Instagram in their tributes along with heartfelt captions that expressed their feelings about looking back on the special moment.
“1 year ago we had the best wedding. Wish I could live this day over and over,” Hailey’s caption read, while Justin’s got a little more in depth. “Hailey Bieber. I am so lucky to be YOUR husband!” he wrote. “You teach me so much everyday and make me such a better man! I am committed for the rest of our lives to empower you to be the woman God has called you to be! My heart is to enable you to achieve all of your wildest dreams! I promise to always put you first, to lead with patience and kindness!! Happy anniversary my beautiful sweet girl.”
Planning A Family
The couple don’t have kids yet, but babies are definitely on the mind! The Canadian born singer is no stranger to kids with baby sister Bay and siblings Jaxon, Jazmyn, and stepsister Allie — and he wants a big brood just like his dad Jeremy Bieber. “I’m going to have as many [kids] as Hailey is wishing to push out,” he said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in Dec. 2020. “I’d love to have myself a little tribe, but it’s her body, so whatever she wants to do…think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman. I think she’s just not ready yet and I think that’s okay.”
In a post celebrating Hailey’s 23rd birthday, Justin teased that their “next season” was “babies” back in Nov. 2019. JB also had fans speculating that Hailey could be pregnant on his Changes track “All Around Me”, which ends with a baby sound at the end of the song.
Meanwhile, The BareMinerals model has also revealed her desire to start a family. “The strange thing is, I’ve always wanted to have children early,” Hailey said to Vogue Italia in Nov. 2020. “But now that I’m married, I feel less of an urge. I am an ambitious girl with many projects. It will happen, but not now.”
Pregnancy Announcement
On May 9, 2024, Justin and Hailey announced that she was pregnant and expecting their first child together. The couple posted an Instagram video montage from their vow renewal, which also served as a maternity photo shoot.
Justin’s Swag II Album
Justin’s 2025 album has a lot of songs that are clearly about the love of his life. From “Mother in You” to “I Do” and “Love Song,” it’s clear that the proud parents of son Jack Blues are happy together.

Harry Styles is facing opposition from neighbours over his plans to build a ‘monster mansion’
The 31-year-old former One Direction singer bought the first of two houses in north London for £8.8million in April 2019, added a second adjoining home for £4million, and last year purchased a third property nearby, according to documents seen by The Daily Telegraph – and is now facing claims his proposal to join the two could obstruct natural light from surrounding houses.
He was granted permission in April to redevelop the site on the condition wildlife habitats, including hedgehog and bat boxes, were installed.
Under the proposals, Harry intends to build what has been described as a “monster mansion” featuring a master suite with four dressing rooms, a gallery, drawing room, TV room, basement cinema, pool, sauna, gym and landscaped garden with a water feature.
But some local residents have raised concerns.
One neighbour told The Telegraph: “It’s sad living next to a building site all the time. This road didn’t used to be like this.
“All the houses are now constantly being bought by millionaires and redone.
“There’s another house down at the bottom of the road, which I’m sure will be bought up and renovated like the others.
“There’s also unfortunately less community among the neighbours than there was since people have moved on from the area.”
Two neighbours have lodged formal complaints to the council over Harry’s plans, warning their legal rights to light could be affected.
Representatives for one homeowner wrote: “My client is also deeply concerned about their private legal Rights to Light that might be infringed by virtue of the implementation of the proposal or a similar scheme of this nature.”
Another complaint said: “The building will be much larger in scale to all existing properties on the road, which are two stories, therefore out of scale.
“We appreciate that the building was originally three stories, and the planning application is to restore the building; however, the majority of the road did not exist when it was three stories, and the buildings that exist were outbuildings.”
In planning submissions, Harry’s representatives said: “The proposed development has been carefully crafted to bring the building back as one of the great Hampstead houses.
“It proposes to amalgamate the two houses, along with internal and alterations, extensions to the second, ground and lower ground floors, and extensive landscaping in order to reinstate and provide substantial enhancement to the Grade II listed building.”
They added meetings had been held with residents who raised questions about daylight and construction disruption.
A daylight and sunlight study was subsequently commissioned, concluding there would be “a negligible impact on neighbouring properties in terms of daylight and sunlight”.
Harry aims for the development to be completed by October 2027.
“He came back four times asking me, ‘Can I read for it?” Matthew recalled, adding that he soon after pitched the idea to the casting director. “They got him on camera, read for it and I said ‘Wow, he can hold the frame, he’s got the instinct for it.’”
So, they decided to put the decision in the hands of director Paul Greengrass.
“They send it to the director and they say, ‘If we do that, let’s take the name off—my last name off—to send to the director,’” Matthew explained. “And Paul looks at it and says, ‘That’s the kid!’”
As for how Levi reacted to landing his debut role in the intense wildfire drama? Well, he was completely taken by surprise.
“I knew it was a good audition and I was like, ‘OK. This is good,’” he told E! “But I did not think I was going to get the part.”
bitchy | Eden: Prince Harry should resign from Invictus so it can have another royal patron!!
Last year, there was a high-profile campaign to somehow force or convince Prince Harry to resign from his board position on African Parks, a well-funded NGO working to conserve African ecosystems and protect African animal populations. As I said at the time, the campaign was very clearly coming from Prince William, and I also said that William’s ultimate goal is to somehow f–k with all of Harry’s major patronages. Then, this year, the Sentebale catastrophe happened. Once again, William’s peggy fingerprints were all over that fiasco. Everyone once again pointed out that William only gives a sh-t about taking things away from Harry and harming Harry’s philanthropic legacy. Well, it looks like William is making some moves on the Invictus Games. The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden wrote this infuriating column:
The Duke of Sussex said his decision to resign earlier this year as patron of Sentebale, the charity he co-founded to help Aids orphans in southern Africa, was ‘devastating’. Now, however, he may come under pressure to quit as patron of the other cause closest to his heart. I hear increasing rumblings of discontent about Prince Harry’s role as patron of the Invictus Games, the international sports event he founded with his brother and sister-in-law, the Prince and Princess of Wales, to help wounded, injured and sick military service personnel.
A source close to the Invictus Games Foundation tells me there is concern that Harry is no longer the help to the charity that he once was.
‘The duke has become an increasingly divisive figure, particularly in the Armed Forces,’ the source says. ‘And that is not good for Invictus. We are all about bringing people together and inspiring those who have suffered hardship. Now, Invictus is firmly established, it might be better if the duke took a step back.’
The issue is particularly sensitive because the next Invictus Games is due to be held in this country, in Birmingham, in 2027. Given Harry’s estrangement from the Royal Family – which he has attacked publicly on a number of occasions including in his memoir, Spare, and the interview with Oprah Winfrey – it is doubtful that any members would want to be seen alongside him in Birmingham. Stories have already appeared suggesting that Invictus will invite royals to attend the 2027 games, putting them in an awkward position – and this has led to further unease.
‘It is worrying that such a worthy event seems to be used for PR [public relations] purposes,’ says the source. ‘Normally, senior members of the Royal Family would want to attend. It goes without saying that they support the Forces to the hilt, so it would be unfortunate if they felt unable to because of Harry’s presence.’
A royal source tells me: ‘If Harry were to resign as patron of Invictus, I’m sure they would have no trouble finding a new royal patron.’
Rob Owen, chief executive of the Invictus Games Foundation, tells me: ‘We are proud to have the Duke of Sussex as the patron and founder. The Invictus movement stems from his ideas and his passion for the international community of wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans, borne out of his military service experience, and his understanding of the power of sport to change lives and save lives. The spotlight he brings to the community, and to our work, has changed the perceptions of mental health, of military personnel, and of disability worldwide.’
“If Harry were to resign as patron of Invictus, I’m sure they would have no trouble finding a new royal patron.” It makes me feel sick to my stomach, actually. The fact that William is waging this public campaign to do what? A hostile takeover of Harry’s signature achievement, his brainchild, the event he painstakingly put together and nurtured for more than a decade? All so his ugly brother can claim it as his own royal patronage? And that’s another thing… for argument’s sake, let’s say this happened the way William wants, and Invictus is like “well, sh-t, let’s ask William to be our royal patron.” Is that not an enormous embarrassment for Invictus AND William? Or is he too stupid and childish to understand that? What’s also funny is that William refuses to do anything with his existing patronages (nevermind taking on new patronages), and yet he’s an eager-beager whenever it comes to anything Harry founded?
Also: “Normally, senior members of the Royal Family would want to attend. It goes without saying that they support the Forces to the hilt, so it would be unfortunate if they felt unable to because of Harry’s presence.” The Windsors actually refused to even congratulate or send well-wishes to the British Invictus team in 2022, 2023 and 2025. They were so mad that Harry was getting so much attention as Invictus’s founder, they went out of their way to snub British veterans. Not even a tweet of congratulations, not even a small reception for the medal-winning British Invictus team. These people are completely pathetic.

Angel Reese has been making headlines all season long — whether it’s for her standout rookie performances or her off-court glow-up. But now, the Chicago Sky star is trending for a different reason, and let’s just say, the refs are not playing with her!

Here’s Why Angel Reese Is Sitting Out
The WNBA has officially hit Angel Reese with a one-game suspension after she picked up her eighth technical foul of the 2025 season during Wednesday’s game against the Connecticut Sun. According to league rules, that’s an automatic suspension without pay — and every two additional techs moving forward means another game on the sidelines. Additionally, Reese will sit out this Friday’s matchup against the Indiana Fever. Fans have already taken to social media with mixed reactions, but one thing’s for sure: Angel’s passion on the court continues to keep everyone watching.
Social Media Doesn’t Play About HER Play
Social media users wasted no time jumping to Angel Reese’s defense in The Shade Room Teen’s comment section. Fans made it clear they’re ready to fight behind their her, with some pointing out that the other player disrespected Angel first. Others chimed in saying the WNBA is just being dramatic and blowing things out of proportion.
One Instagram user @its_deja4real said, “Don’t start yall shi in these comments, ion play about Angel 😭”
This Instagram user @j4ci.4rnn1 joked, “Now why df she do that 😭😭😭😭”
And, Instagram user @camo_couther shared, “man yall picking on that girl“
Meanwhile, Instagram user @quaykash704 added, “…She goes through this every single game she plays. She’s over it. She stood on business!“
While, Instagram user @1.blasiann wrote, “Angel hit her twice bc Aaliyah pushed her in the back and made angel back bend 😂😂😂 angel got her lick back“
Lastly, Instagram user @v.ladieet shared, “lol my girl casually gave her the back hand 😭 she needed a break anyways #teamangelreese“
Can Angel Reese Live?!
Whew! Folks stay coming for Angel Reese, and yet she stays on their necks every single time! What should’ve been a major win for the Chicago Sky star — landing on the NBA 2K26 cover and debuting her Reebok signature shoe — quickly spiraled into online drama this summer, after former NFL star Robert Griffin III took to X with a post defending Angel from racist backlash. While his message started strong, calling out the disgusting comparisons Angel has faced, things took a messy turn when he claimed her “inner circle” told him she’d “grown to hate Caitlin Clark” due to constant comparisons. Baby, the internet did not let that slide — and instead of celebrating Angel’s major moment, the timeline started pushing rivalry rumors all over again.

What Do You Think Roomies?
Many think of Las Vegas as the entertainment capital of the world, and they are not wrong. We’re talking about a city where lights never go dim and music never stops. A few decades ago, “Sin City” was regarded as the center of music concerts and casino houses, but recently, the city has added more to its description. The new path? Artist residency. From Celine Dion to Adele to Lady Gaga, several artists have called Las Vegas home.
For artists, residencies help them stay closer to the right communities and environment to build something spectacular. We’re talking about unforgettable shows on repeat and massive production infrastructure. Fans are also not left out of this bliss of residencies as we break down the city of Las Vegas in this article.
Why is a Las Vegas Residency Worth It?
Unlike music tours and one-night concerts, where artists move from place to place or hold just one performance, residencies are events where artists host long-term performances at a single location. These performances could span months or even years. Several years ago, Frank Sinatra showed the world why every performer should dream of a Las Vegas performance, but more recently, Celine Dion came onto the scene to reveal what a modern-day residency could mean. In 16 years, the music star did over a thousand shows and gathered more than 4 million fans at the venue.
Surprisingly, more fans are getting as obsessed with residencies as performers. This is because, like performers, fans want immersion as well as stability. When artists perform in state-of-the-art venues night after night, it saves them from travel stress and helps them connect deeply with a familiar audience that keeps showing up. Also, when fans book residencies, they get the chance to witness world-class production live, among other benefits.
VIP Lounges and Residencies
For fans of top-tier performances, the luxury experience usually starts before the first night. A big part of this is the experience of VIP lounges. At a VIP lounge in Las Vegas, there are certain unique things to expect. Many of these lounges have concierge services like restaurant reservations or bookings for events. Some of these lounges also have exclusive seating areas that give one a chill spot to relax away from crowded areas in the hotel.
Also, some residency centers are integrated with VIP lounges providing fans exclusive treatment during artist performances. This allows residents to evade the long queues at entry points and access to private bars where they might run into the performers themselves.
The Premium Event Experience
When guests are inside the event’s venue, they don’t need special lenses to notice that the difference between standard admission and VIP seating is like night and day. Booking a premium package offers attendees access to front-row seats, private boxes, or suites. There’s also the perk of personalization and curated menus. Imagine patrons watching Adele perform from a velvet-lined balcony with bottle service at their fingertips. The experience will make guests feel like insiders rather than just attendees.
Unbelievable Backstage Access Memories
We all will have certain events repeat themselves in our lives over and over, but for a few other events, they might be a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. One such event is an opportunity to go backstage and meet a performer easily considered inaccessible. Backstage access during residencies can include meet-and-greets, having memorabilia signed, having earlier access to soundchecks, or even nice photographs and selfies.
Backstage access is like the difference between watching the magic and being a part of it. However, let’s discuss the Vegas residency life away from performances.
Do Las Vegas Residencies Have Casinos?
We’ve talked about what residencies in Las Vegas are like, what a VIP lounge experience entails, what a premium show experience feels like, and the thrill of backstage access. It’s important to mention that Las Vegas residencies are not just about the shows; they’re about the entire night or nights. The city is synonymous with many tourist-friendly pastimes, and casinos are often what jumps to mind for most.
If playing at a brick-and-mortar casino in Las Vegas doesn’t fit into your schedule or personality, online platforms can certainly give a Las Vegas casino experience where patrons can ensconce themselves while waiting for the performance to start or while sitting in the lounge.
What Happens in Vegas
Visitors can expect an experience where good music and exclusivity come together. No doubt, the best perks are reserved for higher ticket prices, but for many people who prefer to get hosted in lounges and backstage access during residencies, the value is not just in the music but in the intimacy and exclusivity. These events provide attendees something to relish, whether as fans or performers.
‘The Paper’ creators explain why Oscar was perfect for ‘The Office’ spinoff – National
The Office may have ended, but its world is far from over because its spinoff, The Paper, carries on the mockumentary style and humour, introducing new characters on a new mission.
This time around, the same documentary crew that followed Michael Scott and his employees at Scranton’s Dunder Mifflin is focusing on a Midwest local newspaper in Toledo, Ohio, as it tries to get back on its feet with a team of (untrained) volunteer journalists.
Global News spoke with The Office director Greg Daniels, who is back at the helm of The Paper, and co-creator Michael Koman about the new series and their decision to bring back Oscar Nuñez , who is reprising his role from the original series.
“The bones of the show is that it’s a documentary and the documentary crew is the main connective tissue. We obviously have Oscar, which is wonderful, but the crew is looking for another subject for a documentary and they start in the paper company following the absorption of the paper company into a larger conglomerate that’s organized around things that use paper, like toilet paper and local newspapers,” Daniels said.

Daniels said it was an easy decision to bring Nuñez back because he’s a “great actor.”
“His character didn’t have the same closure that a lot of the other characters did in the finale of The Office. There’s still more adventures for him to go [on] without undoing anything that we had settled,” he added.

Daniels and Koman said that in the beginning of the show, Oscar is “horrified that he’s about to embark on it again.”

“He doesn’t really want to participate but the other characters are more innocent and they’re just explaining what they do at The Paper. They start off a little bit dispirited until Domhnall Gleeson shows up,” Daniels revealed.
