There’s a whole movement of Gen Z and Millennial hard-right conservative guys who all sort of blend together for me. Before this week, I would not have been able to pick Charlie Kirk out of a line-up. But now the image of Kirk getting shot in the neck at a Utah college campus is seared into my memory bank. Kirk, who was only 31 years old, was shot and killed at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. He was on some kind of platform or stage, doing a “Prove Me Wrong” Q&A session. The last question he was asked was “do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last ten years?” Kirk answered with a question, “counting or not counting gang violence?” Then he was shot in the neck.

Charlie Kirk has died at age 31 after being shot during a campus event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, Sept. 10, according to President Donald Trump.

“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” the president shared on Truth Social on Wednesday afternoon. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us.”

Kirk, a right-wing media personality who founded conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, was manning his signature “Prove Me Wrong” table on the first stop of his American Comeback Tour in Orem, Utah, when shots were fired. Video posted from the event appeared to show Kirk being struck in the side of the head or neck as he spoke to the crowd from under a white pop-up tent.

After the shot rang out, the crowd dispersed in a panic, with onlookers shouting, “Run, run, run!”

There are multiple angles of the shooting from people in the crowd, and each angle is worse than the next. I don’t recommend watching any of the videos, but they’re all over social media. As many have pointed out, Kirk spent the past nine or ten years demonizing minorities, women and marginalized communities and he ended up getting killed by someone who I’m 99.999% sure is a white-male shooter. In the whitest state in America, on a campus which is overwhelmingly white.

In 2023, Kirk was asked about the second amendment, mass shootings and America’s gun problem. He said: “You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won’t have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It’s drivel. But I am, I, I — I think it’s worth it. I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal.”

I’m including an assortment of reactions from Democratic leaders. Republican leaders did not bother to offer any kind of similar sentiments when Minnesota’s Democratic state representative Melissa Hortman was assassinated in her home alongside her husband and their dog. That happened less than three months ago.

Boosie isn’t holding back on Kodak Black, and the war of words is about Young Thug! The internet has been yapping about leaked audio of Thugger’s jail calls for the last two weeks. Several celebrity names, including Gunna and GloRilla, have come up on the call. Still, not all of them have clapped back. Also, supporters who were vocal during Young Thug’s detainment and trial have seemingly gone silent. So, when Kodak Black put Boosie in that category, the Baton Rouge rapper sounded off!

Kodak Black Calls Out “Spokesperson” Boosie

As mentioned, Boosie was set off by a social media comment Kodak Black shared about him and Thugger. It’s unclear where the Florida rapper shared his thoughts, but it appears to be an Instagram comment. Live Bitez shared a screenshot on September 10.

“Where The Hell Boosie @??? FAM Was Just The Spokesperson For This Sh*t NOW AIN’T GOT NUN TO SAY. These N****s Bullsh*t,” Kodak Black wrote.

While it might come off a lil’ shady, Kodak isn’t wrong about how hard Boosie went behind Young Thug. He was especially set off when Gunna accepted a plea deal in December 2022, leading to his early exit from the YSL RICO case. At the time, Boosie tweeted that the ‘Wunna’ artist was a “rat” and that the situation brought tears to his eyes and felt like a brother betrayal.

Baton Rouge Rapper Goes IN On Kodak

After Boosie peeped what Kodak Black had to say, he slid on X (formerly Twitter) with a harsh response and warning on Wednesday (September 10). He tweeted that he’ll speak “when it’s time” and called it “business.”

“I GET A BAG to speak on these situations. N believe me somebody coming with it 😃 N you wrong I shouldn’t have energy at all for this sh*t with what I’m going through.”

Boosie didn’t specify who he expects will pay him for his thoughts. However, fans have already said they smell a VladTV interview on the way. And the “sh*t” Boosie has going on? Well, that’s likely a reference to his resurfaced legal issues. Last month, he accepted a plea deal in his federal gun possession case more than two years after prosecutors first charged him. After a brief dismissal in 2024, the government refiled his charges. His last hearing was scheduled for August 26, per Billboard. He’s reportedly been out of jail on a $100,000 bond.

That said, Boosie also suggested Kodak Black is still holding on to his July 2023 remarks about his collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine. At the time, the Louisiana star said the Florida artist had no principles or morals. Also, he threw dirt on his street cred. On Wednesday, Boosie mentioned that while also blasting Kodak Black for his drug use.

Speaking of Kodak and Young Thug! A new leaked jail call exposed the Florida rapper’s interest in Thugger’s boo, Mariah the Scientist. In the audio, reposted by Live Bitez, she’s heard telling Young Thug about the DM Black sent. He allegedly promised her “queen treatment,” but she denied him, allegedly replying: “I got a man and I ain’t going against what I got.” Thugger didn’t offer much in response and even refused to guess the rapper when Mariah asked him to. Shaun and Nina first crossed paths in late 2019 at an event in Florida. The two had dinner afterward, and their connection grew from there. The athlete later admitted that he initially didn’t know her stardom, but Shaun eventually learned just how big of a name Nina already was.

By 2020, the pair spent time together on a South African safari while Nina was working on the film Redeeming Love, and Shaun joined her on location. During the early aughts of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were often spotted out together riding bikes in Malibu, California, and spending quarantine together. They went public with their relationship in April 2020 by going Instagram official. From then on, Nina frequently shared funny and sweet moments with Shaun on social media.

When Did Shaun White & Nina Dobrev Get Engaged?

Four years after going Instagram official, Shaun proposed to Nina in New York City in October 2024. They didn’t rush to the wedding planning stage, Nina told E! News the following year.

“I really want to enjoy it and not rush that process,” the Love Hard star said in March 2025. “We’re just enjoying being engaged at this point and being in that sort of phase because a lot of your life is — you have a boyfriend for half of your life, and then, you have a husband for half of your life, but the fiancé period is very short.”

Nina Dobrev has split from Shaun White

The couple got engaged last October after four years of dating but it has now been revealed they have made the “mutual decision” to go their separate ways.

A source told People magazine: “It was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another.”

Representatives for the Vampire Diaries actress and the 39-year-old snowboarder have yet to comment on the news.

The pair were last seen together holding hands while running errands in Los Angeles on 31 August, but on Sunday (07.09.25) the 36-year-old actress walked the red carpet at the Eternity premiere in Los Angeles without her engagement ring.

She has also unpinned her engagement post from the top of her Instagram account for the first time since Shaun popped the question.

Just a few months ago, Shaun spoke of how “excited” he and Nina were to be planning their wedding.

He told People: “It’s very exciting to have new aspirations and new things that we’re going after and together. It’s very humbling and very exciting, and she’s excited.

“We’ve gotten a lot of advice from different people who have planned their own weddings and things. So we’re definitely gathering information and now trying to see what’s going to work best for us in any way.”

Shaun thought it was “fun” planning to be planning the “next chapter” of their lives as a couple.

The former Olympian shared: “It’s like you took that next step and yeah, it’s just a fun sort of planning phase of life.

“Like, ‘What’s the next steps, and the next chapter and where do we want to be?’ It’s fun. It’s fun to have somebody to plan all that with.”

Nina previously revealed to Vogue magazine that they got engaged in New York City in late October and she “froze” when Shaun proposed.

Recalling Shaun’s proposal, she confessed: “I went into shock. I just froze and stared at him.”

Nina – who previously dated Ian Somerhalder, her former Vampire Diaries co-star – was quickly won over once she got over the surprise of the situation.

She added: “He said all the right things.”

Just five days before the news that she and Shaun White broke up after five years together, Nina stepped out onto the red carpet for the premiere of Eternity at the Toronto Film Festival without her engagement ring.

For the Sept. 7 occasion, the Vampire Diaries alum donned a figure-hugging black dress with lace adorning the top. She styled the look with sparkling shoes and clutch—but no shimmering ring.

The diamond’s absence from Nina’s left hand was most noticeable in a carousel of images from the event, which she captioned, “Here’s to Eternity #TIFF”

Among images of her on the red carpet and posing with her friend—and the movie’s star—Miles Teller, was one of Nina in a group photo with his wife Keleigh Teller and other pals. Her left hand, resting on her lap, only bears a ring on her middle finger.

However, earlier this summer, Eva and Michael sparked reconciliation rumors after posting a video of themselves together and all smiles while riding around in a golf cart. When a fan commented on the post, “She loves that man down!!!!,” Eva replied, “and do!!!!!”

In her latest interview, she said: “[Michael] is my forever. He is and always will be my forever and only.”

All week, royal reporters have been writing “analysis” pieces of Prince Harry’s visit to the UK. These are not supposed to be confused with the royal-commentary clownery, in which various “royal biographers” throw daily hissy fits about the Sussexes for $10 or whatever the going rate is. The analysis pieces are supposed to be high-minded and semi-official. What’s funny about the analysis is that it’s so bittersweet and hilarious. There’s the inevitable recap of How We Got Here, minus the actual history of abuse lodged at Harry and Meghan. Then the reporters sadly note that Harry is still incredibly popular and charismatic, and what a shame it is that he just decided one day to move to California! Well, GB News’ Cameron Walker wrote one analysis and it made me laugh pretty hard, mostly because of the mention of Prince William.

Fast forward to 2025, however, and veteran royal journalists tell me they feel a sense of “déjà vu”, particularly after Prince Harry visited Nottingham on Tuesday. The organisation, media operations, and crash barriers all felt like we were covering a royal engagement.

Prince Harry was visiting Nottingham’s Community Recording Studio (CRS), an organisation he’s been supporting for more than a decade, where he announced a £1.1million personal donation to Children in Need to support young people affected by youth violence as an “investment in futures”.

It was clear he wanted to be seen in front of the cameras, and this week marked the first time GB News was invited to officially cover Prince Harry’s work, suggesting he wants to work with the British media, rather than against it.

While a vast majority of the Royal Rota was in Nottingham with Prince Harry on Tuesday, his estranged brother, the Prince of Wales, quietly carried on with his own mission to support young people. He visited Spiral Skills, a Lambeth-based charity, which has received funding from Homewards: the future King’s mission to demonstrate it is possible to end homelessness, making it rare, brief and unrepeated.

Prince William has taken after his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II – never complaining and never explaining. It is unclear how he felt about being knocked out of the spotlight, but I suspect it did not matter too much to him. After all, in the eyes of the British public, the Prince and Princess of Wales remain the most popular members of the Royal Family.

The Duke of Sussex appears to have turned over a new leaf by focusing more on philanthropy in a royal-like way. It is a complete contrast to Meghan, who is living the Californian dream by launching her own commercial business and producing glamorous Netflix shows. Prince Harry is at a crossroads. Let’s see which path he chooses to permanently take.

The mention of the emotional-support polling is telling. Oh, William doesn’t mind being overshadowed because of some polling numbers that say he’s super-popular! If he’s so popular, why doesn’t anyone turn up at his events? Why aren’t the royal reporters covering William’s busywork events this week? If he’s so unaffected by Harry’s visit, why have William and Kate thrashed around for days, begging for people to pay attention to them? As for what Walker is writing about Harry: “The Duke of Sussex appears to have turned over a new leaf by focusing more on philanthropy in a royal-like way.” Royals do NOT own philanthropy! Philanthropy is not tied to royal titles! By undertaking charitable work, Harry is not begging to “come back to royal work.” At this point, these people are just choosing to be this obtuse.

The 77-year-old actress – who has lost around 100lbs since being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2017 – insisted while she eventually turned to the weight loss drug, she put in years of effort to get to where she wants to be.

She told Variety: “People say, ‘Well, it was the Ozempic.’ F*** you, it was the Ozempic! It took me years to do this.

“I got this diagnosis about diabetes — my father died of it; his mother died of it; one of my sisters is in peril.

“When they said ’diabetes,’ I figured out what to do to slowly, over years, to lose the weight.

“And then when Ozempic came along, I was able to lose the last 15 to 20 pounds and keep it off.”

The Matlock star – who is healthy after battling ovarian cancer in 2003 and breast cancer in 2012 – explained that she “finally” feels like herself.

She added: “I finally feel like I’m who I am. I’ve fought my way through the rapids. I feel this is the best time of my life. I’m glad I stuck around for it!”

However, the aftermath of her weightless can still be overwhelming as she tries to get used to her new figure and lifestyle.

She said: “[My stylist] had a beautiful dress for me to try. I looked at it on the hanger, and I thought, ‘That’s not gonna fit.’

“I put it on, and it fit, and I just melted down. I just started crying and crying. I’m still figuring out what it’s like to be without all of that weight.

“What was it for? What was I hiding myself from? What are the emotions that are pouring out because I don’t have that armor? It just really surprised me, really shocked me.”
