bitchy | A.N. Wilson: Prince William is ‘incensed by any notion of a comeback for Harry’

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

In recent months, Prince William has been getting some of the worst press he’s gotten in YEARS. You’d have to go back to the pre-Sussex days to find a time when William was being battered this heavily by his domestic media. It’s well-deserved though, and long overdue. I honestly believe that the energy around William (not to mention William himself) would not have gotten this bad if he had been facing the consequences of his own terrible decisions for years. Instead of saying “actually, William is horrible for what he did to Harry and Meghan,” the press has busied itself with covering for him and excusing him. Instead of saying “actually, William’s schedule belies his laziness,” they’ve gone overboard to praise him for “prioritizing the school run.” Instead of saying “actually, he’s a diplomatic lightweight and it’s a huge problem,” they’ve embiggened him and his pitiful international efforts, giving him every gold star they can for all of his big-boy statesmanship like “shaking hands with the UN Gen-Sec at a cattle-call photo-op.” Well, the Mail’s A.N. Wilson is on the case. This column is AMAZING. Some highlights:

William’s demeanor at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral: There was no mistaking the fact that William appeared angry and unhappy at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral at Westminster Cathedral this week. He looked to have lost weight, too. He gave the impression of bearing the burden of the world on his shoulders.

The main reason for William’s apparent discomfiture: Prince Harry. William’s younger brother is evidently trying to make a comeback. A few days before Trump’s visit, Harry embarked on his four-day, pseudo-royal tour of Britain. He also had tea with their father, and it seemed as if the slow process of a reconciliation had begun. Reconciliation, that is, between the King and his wayward prodigal son – not reconciliation between Harry and William. Of the two sons, Harry was always the boy favoured by Charles – which is one of the factors that has made Harry’s breach with the Royal Family so especially painful for the King. William is incensed by any notion of a comeback for Harry. The sense of betrayal he feels cannot be overestimated. Harry abandoned him and Kate, as well as the Firm.

They’re still trying to blame Harry for Charles & Kate’s cancer: Some have suggested that the stress caused by the savagery of Harry’s treatment of his own family might have contributed to either the King’s or Catherine’s cancer. Whether true or not, imagine that thought playing on William’s mind.

William is furious that Harry is still popular: How galling it would have been for the heir to the throne to see commentators in the Press suggest Harry’s four-day trip to Britain was a roaring success, a reminder of the cheeky chappy royal we have missed, and that his attempts at reconciliation should be welcomed.

Tina Brown’s claim that Charles is pissed at his lazy heir: In the past seven months, the Waleses have had five confirmed family vacations, a fact seized on gleefully by Ms Brown, a former editor of Vanity Fair and the New Yorker, to suggest William was workshy. It would, of course, be a cruel person who did not feel that the Prince of Wales deserved considerable sympathy. His wife has cancer, and both she and William have suffered all the strains this imposes, both on their own relationship, and on that with their three young children. What is more, those who sing the National Anthem, hoping that Charles will be ‘long to reign over us’, do so in the sadly realistic knowledge that the present reign might, in fact not be as long as we would wish. William therefore faces the prospect of becoming King when he is still a relatively young man. Four decades and more of public duty stretch ahead. Why would he not prioritise family life in such circumstances and spend precious time with George, Charlotte and Louis?

William’s lack of deference: It is becoming apparent that William likes to do things his way or, as a senior member of the royal household who has observed the father-son dynamic put it: ‘As direct heir, he sometimes seems to forget, whether by accident or design, that there is a hierarchy and that he ranks one below his father.’ Another source claimed that ‘deference does not appear to be in his vocabulary when it comes to the King’.

Casual Peg: When Queen Elizabeth II died, there was an outpouring of grief which did, quite genuinely, unite the nation. But united us in the recognition that we revered her – her dutiful acceptance of the burden and responsibility of her office without question. William appears to want things to be more casual. He told one interviewer that he would never be royal with a capital R. Yet if you are Prince of Wales, royal with a capital R is what you are.

William’s atheism: Queen Elizabeth was a woman of faith. Her Christianity defined her entire attitude to life. Charles, bafflingly, has said he wants to be the Defender of Faiths. None of us can guess what this is supposed to mean – and when we watch him entertaining fire worshippers and witch doctors in the gardens of Highgrove we would probably rather not ask too deeply. But William has made it clear that he is not a believer. Nothing wrong with this if we are talking of him as a private individual. But, again – as with the military – it is part of the job specification that the monarch is Supreme Governor of the Church. The heavy concerns of history are bearing down on William. Can he adjust the monarchy as he wants to? Can he do so while retaining public affection for the institution?

The Duchy money: Above all, to my mind, does he feel queasy about the £23 million per annum, he derives from the Duchy of Cornwall? Because by hanging on to the loot, he could jeopardise the monarchy. When the public is in love with the Royal Family, it is prepared to overlook their besetting sin, which is conspicuous consumption and lavish living. Does the King really need so many houses – the Castle of Mey, Birkhall, Sandringham and Highgrove? His properties in Romania are all privately owned, in addition to the palaces and castles which go with the job. If the public is in a mood to question the royals and their behaviour – as will happen once more when yet more revelations come out about Prince Andrew and the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein – then they will rightly ask what on earth makes them think they are entitled to this vast amount of wealth. Particularly if it is in return for just 107 engagements per year performed by a man who does not seem to relish the role.

Oooof: Public sympathy for Kate and for the King – both of them visibly still far from well and deeply affected by Harry’s egregious behaviour – is palpable. But sympathy for them in person is not the same as being sympathetic to the idea of what they stand for…. The King in waiting needs to make a case for it if he is not to find himself booted out by a hostile public. Princess Diana once told me that during the English Civil War in the 1640s, her ancestor Earl Spencer had fought against the King on the side of Oliver Cromwell. This was historically untrue – in fact that Earl Spencer died fighting in the royal cause. But, she went on to say to me, she did not think there would be a monarchy after Charles had died. William will need to work hard and employ his mother’s radiant and irresistible charm if her prophecy is not to be fulfilled. Little wonder he seems so subdued.

[From The Daily Mail]

Wilson also claims that William “is already being eased into his future royal role. The King delegates more to him than many realise,” and then Wilson cites this as an example: William “now oversees the shoots at Balmoral and Sandringham – a key job among family roles.” LMAO. You guys, William’s not lazy, he goes to meetings and organizes the shoots on the private estates!! The thing is, I do not believe William even does THAT. Overall, this piece is steeped in the palace talking points, but it’s actually a huge warning. William isn’t a man of faith, William is lazy, William lacks charisma, and if he’s not careful, this whole thing will fall apart very quickly. And yeah, ALL of this is about Harry, I have no doubt. It was always about Harry.

Kayla Nicole Talks Steamy Stage Moment With Chris Brown

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

You know it’s real when even Kayla Nicole admits she blacked out — in the best way — mid-grind. During a recent episode of her podcast, Kayla opened up about her now-viral on-stage moment with none other than Chris Brown, and let’s just say… she had some things to clear up, and others she couldn’t even remember.

RELATED: Hol’ Up! Chris Brown Gives Kayla Nicole A Steamy Dance During ‘Take You Down’ Performance (VIDEO)

Kayla Clear The Air & Breaks Down That Breezy Moment

While answering fan questions, Kayla shared how the unexpected moment with Breezy came to be — revealing that she was approached just before the show to see if she’d be down, but didn’t find out she was actually the chosen girl until it was happening live. She also took a moment to shut down rumors that Chris doesn’t pick real fans for his steamy on-stage segments, assuring listeners that, in most cities, he’s pulling fans straight from the crowd. As for burning questions like “Did he smell good?” — Kayla laughed it off, admitting she couldn’t recall a thing because she was too busy soaking up the moment with fine Breezy himself.

Kayla Spilled & The TL Is Eating It Up

Kayla Nicole spilled on her viral Chris Brown moment, and the TL is absolutely eating it up. Folks ran to The Shade Room comment section to say Kayla understood the assignment — period. While some questioned why she even gets hate, others were simply focused on how moisturized and flawless she looked in the clip.

One Instagram user @parissymone__ said, “The Kayla hate is so weird. I like her a lot 🥰”

This Instagram user @therealprettypinkpaid added, “She went up there and did what she was supposed to do !😭”

Meanwhile, Instagram user @officialprettygirlshay wrote, “She did good shit she look like she was part of the show 👏👏👏”

Instagram user @hampagnemami.sja said, “‘I saw lights, I heard screams, I turned into Beyoncé’ 😂😂”

While Instagram user @1onlybrittanyleshae_ shared, “She was the perfect choice….. Assignment understood 🍫”

Instagram user @beadidthat commented, “I love how moisturized she is. That’s all I care about right now.“

Finally, Instagram user @quin_cherrybomb added, “And she ate and left no fawkibg crumbs u hear me !🔥”

The Clip That Gagged The TL & Breezy’s Clap Back

Let’s throw it back to the moment Kayla Nicole is talking about — when she and Chris Brown gave Los Angeles a show not too long ago. Sis pulled up to his ‘Breezy Bowl XX’ tour stop looking too good in an all-black fit and curly bob, but by the end of the night, she was center stage with her legs sprawled as Breezy sang ‘Take You Down’ between them. Roommates, you already know social media was gagged, and now Kayla’s finally giving us the behind-the-scenes tea we didn’t know we needed.

Before stepping away from Instagram, Chris Brown had a few things to get off his chest. After posting a still from his steamy on-stage moment with Kayla Nicole in L.A. — legs up, grind in full effect — Breezy hopped on IG Stories to shut down any colorist accusations, writing, “MISS ME WITH THE COLORIST RAGE BAITING.” He also included a stunning aerial shot of his packed-out venue, lit up with fans and flashing lights, simply captioned with a red heart. Roomies, one thing about Chris… he’s gonna speak on it and keep it pushing!

From the ‘devil’s interval’ to ‘Louie Louie’: Crazy moments in music censorship – National

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

We all know that music is a powerful and empowering thing. It affects our emotions, our psyches, our very souls — and that’s exactly the kind of thing that frightens certain people about music.

They believe that music can be dangerous and needs to be carefully supervised, regulated and sometimes banned — all in the name of… well, something. Morality? Humanity? Some twisted political reason? Check, check and check.

In many cases, the morality police choose to blame the messenger — the music or the musician — instead of looking at why the song seems to resonate so strongly. But they know that societal and political change is often presaged by messages and movements in popular culture. They hope that by blocking the message and restricting the movement, they can stop or even reverse change.

The music morality police have been around for centuries. The word “censor” was used to describe the Roman official in charge of the census. Through a roundabout way, he also had the job of monitoring public morals. For example, if you were found singing an “evil” song — which could be, say, something unflattering about the emperor — the Code of Twelve Tables, a law passed in 450 BC, decreed that you were to be put to death by clubbing.

The Qin dynasty, which reigned in China some 2,200 years ago, was big into restricting art and literature. The emperor declared music to be a “wasteful” pastime and ordered all musical instruments and songbooks destroyed.

It is said that the Roman Catholic Church was big on something it called “the devil’s interval,” a particularly dissonant playing of three notes: diabolus in musica — the devil in music. The devil’s chord. Because it sounded evil, it must be evil. That’s why the use of this combination of notes was effectively banned from all western European music. The notes were suppressed so that any evil feelings were avoided. No evil feelings, no evil deeds.

Things have changed a little. The opening chords of Jimi Hendrix’s Purple Haze might have gotten him burned at the stake a thousand years ago. Black Sabbath would have been branded as witches and demons. And had this by Blur been released in 1543, it would have literally been the death of them.

Story continues below advertisement

Actually, information has come to light that the devil’s tritone was not banned by the church, though the myth still resonates.

Speaking of 1543, that’s the year Henry VIII banned the printing of sheet music because it could “subtly and craftily instruct the king’s people and the youth of the realm.”

And the Nazis had their issues with music. During the occupation of Europe, the Reich’s Gauleiter for the Nazi protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia issued a 10-point decree regulating the playing of jazz.

I could read them out, but instead, I turn your attention to a song by Canadian violinist Hugh Marsh. In 1987, he released an album titled Shaking the Pumpkin. It featured a song called Rules Are Made to Be Broken featuring Robert Palmer and Dalbello on vocals. Have a listen.

When rock and roll was born in the 1950s, so was a never-ending campaign to have it banned. Parents, politicians, preachers and even doctors got involved. A certain Dr. Francis Braceland, who worked as a psychiatrist at a facility in Connecticut, was quoted in the media as saying rock music was a “cannibalistic and tribalistic form of music … a communicable disease … appealing to adolescent insecurity and driving teenagers to do outlandish things.”

Pablo Casals, the famous classical cellist, called rock “poison put to sound.” Mitch Miller, the head of talent development at Columbia Records in the 1950s and early ’60s, hated rock music. He passed on Elvis, Buddy Holly, and some English group called “the Beatles.” I quote from Miller: “Rock ’n’ roll is musical baby food: it is the worship of mediocrity, brought about by a passion for conformity.”

Rock? Conformity?

Here’s another example of a piece of music that was banned by certain radio stations. This censorship had nothing to do with its lyrics, because it’s an instrumental. Stations refused to play it just because it sounded dangerous.

But here’s the best censorship story of the era. In 1963, a garage band from Portland, Ore., called the Kingsmen made a record called Louie Louie. They had no money. All they could afford was a cheap studio and one overhead mic dangling about 10 feet above the band.

Everyone had to be arranged around that one mic, including singer Joe Ely. He had to sing with his head all the way back, effectively singing straight up into the microphone. Complicating things was the fact that he had some big, heavy braces on his teeth. No wonder no one can make out what he’s singing.

Story continues below advertisement

Before we go any further, give this a listen and see if you can make out what’s going on.

Did you get any of that? Well, some politicians and parents thought they could. Rumours began to circulate that the lyrics were unbelievably dirty. Unspeakably dirty.

The governor of Indiana declared that the song made his “ears tingle” and imposed a statewide ban on it. Complaints from teachers, preachers and parents reached all the way to the office of the U.S. attorney general. No less than J. Edgar Hoover of the FBI was called in to investigate.

People were questioned. The recording was subjected to analysis. It was played forward and backward at a variety of speeds. The investigation lasted two years. And when the final FBI report came out on May 25, 1965, it was 118 pages long. The conclusion? “‘Louie Louie’ is unintelligible at any speed and is probably not obscene. Probably.”

Story continues below advertisement

Nothing gets a song banned faster than S-E-X. Such has been the case for centuries. I could quote you some lyrics from blues songs from the early 20th century that would get me fired. No wonder they didn’t make it on the radio. And if you want to have a little fun, do some Googling on the phrase “jelly roll” and you’ll begin to understand why so many blues songs use that phrase.

In the 1950s, some cities banned jukeboxes, which were cesspools of vice, apparently. And if you followed American law precisely, you could get busted for sending “lewd and lascivious” records through the mail. What constituted “lewd and lascivious” depended on who was doing the inspecting, I guess.

From the ’50s through to the ’80s, everyone from Chuck Berry and the Rolling Stones to the Beatles and the Doors had their problems with censorship crusaders. And one of the most severe was the British Broadcasting Corporation.

If you look at the history of the BBC, you might come away with the idea that they’re one of the most uptight broadcasters in the world — and you may be right. In the mid-30s, the BBC banned jazz. In 1959, it banned the song Charlie Brown by the Coasters because it contained the offensive word “spitballs.” No, really.

In January 1984, the producer of a BBC radio show came home to find his kids in front of the telly, watching the video for a song called Relax from this new band called Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Story continues below advertisement

No big deal. He’d heard the song a number of times because the BBC had added it to the daytime playlist. In fact, the song had been aired close to 90 times by this point. But it wasn’t until he saw the video that he realized that — gasp! — it was about homosexual sex.

The next day, Jan. 11, 1984, he went into work and explained to his boss, DJ Mike Read, what he had learned. Read was the host of the morning show and had millions of listeners every day. After playing the song one more time, he, too, saw the light.

He branded the song obscene and announced that he would never, ever play it again. This put management in a tough spot. Their biggest star had made this outburst. Any attempt to countermand that would look bad. So the next day, Jan. 12, 1984, a memo went out across the BBC declaring that Relax should never, ever grace Her Majesty’s airwaves again — radio and TV.

There was just one exception: the weekly chart show. I don’t get that, but that’s the way it was. You know what happened, right? One week later, the biggest song in all of Britain was Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. It stayed at No. 1 for five weeks. It sold a million copies in less than a month and 13 million worldwide. Thank you, Mike Read.

The BBC seems to get extra prickly about music in times of war. In 1982, Margaret Thatcher went to war with Argentina over the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic. It was a controversial war, given that the fight was over a bunch of rocks that were home to more sheep and penguins than people.

Regardless, Her Majesty’s armed forces were sent to recapture these rocks, which they did over the course of 10 weeks. About a thousand people died, 255 of them British soldiers.

During this time, the ever-sensitive BBC was on guard, making sure that any songs critical of the government were not played on Her Majesty’s airwaves. This song — which had nothing to do with a war, a navy, or Argentina — was deemed unplayable.

Story continues below advertisement

The BBC also banned Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears during the first Gulf War. And during the invasion of Iraq in 2003, it banned the song Bandages by Victoria’s Hot Hot Heat. They thought the chorus would cause undue stress on relatives of soldiers fighting in the region.

Then, of course, there was 9/11. You may have heard about an infamous list of songs issued by Clear Channel, the big radio conglomerate in the States. This list did exist — but it wasn’t a list of banned songs. It merely contained suggestions of songs that might cause issues with the audience during such a sensitive time.

For example, the document urged programmers to think about airing songs with the word “jet” in the title: Bennie and the Jets by Elton John, Leaving on a Jet Plane by Peter, Paul and Mary, and Jet Airliner by Steve Miller.

There were 165 songs on this list, including this one, which completely baffles me. Is it the triggering word “fly?”

This has been just a short discussion of how music and censorship have intersected. We could go on for days and days and days on the subject: the issue of the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council and its Money for Nothing decision; the blowback caused by the Cure’s Killing an Arab; the crackdown on pop and rock music in Malaysia.

As long as there’s music and as long as there are people who are afraid of it, there will be censorship.

Zara Larsson hopes to marry her boyfriend

21 September 2025

Zara Larsson wants to marry her boyfriend Lamin Holmen.

Zara Larsson has been in a relationship with Lamin Holmen since 2021

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter started dating the 32-year-old dancer in 2021 after she split from model Brian Whittaker in August 2019, and she and Lamin have been smitten ever since.

Zara told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s Biz on Sunday column: “We’ll see about that. That would be cute, it would just be a party, wouldn’t it?

“For a lot of people, their wedding day is maybe the only day they get to wear a really pretty dress, have their make-up and hair done, and everyone is looking at them.

“But for me, I am like, ‘S***, that’s like a regular Friday.’

“It would just be for the party and for, I guess, fun memories … we will see.”

The Lush Life hitmaker is also open to the idea of starting a family with Lamin.

She said: “We want a family at some point. Then it’s like, ‘How do we do that? You know, Mommy’s on tour.'”

Zara and Lamin – who are both incredibly busy with their careers – wish they could see each other more.

The four-time BRIT Award-nominee admitted: “It does suck sometimes, because of all the time you spend away from each other.”

Zara will be with her lover when the pop star’s European leg of her Midnight Sun Tour begins in Munich, Germany, on October 28, as Lamin is a dancer in support act, 26-year-old singer Omar Rudberg’s performance.

Zara said: “It’s going to be really fun because Lamin is a part of Omar’s show.”

The songstress previously said it can be “really hard” to write break-up songs when she is in a happy relationship.

Zara added: “It is really hard to write about stuff that isn’t.

“I’m so happy and I am so in love and I just love my life and everything is perfect! That is how I feel!

“So to write sad songs or songs about love that isn’t working out – it’s hard!”

Lamin featured as a dancer in Zara’s music video for the single Talk About Love, which was released in November 2023.

Jelly Roll, Bunnie XO’s Love Story

The Story of How Jelly Rolly & Bunnie Xo Met

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll‘s love story began in Las Vegas.

As she recalled on Bussin’ With The Boys, she met the singer in August 2015 when he performed at the Las Vegas Country Saloon. This was before Jelly Roll was famous. At the time, he was living in a van, and he estimated about 20 people were at the show.

Instead, their spark took center stage.

“When I met him, I tell everybody it’s the most f–king cliché s–t, but literally my soul was like, ‘There you are,'” Bunnie said on the podcast in 2023. “And he’s not my type. I’m not his type. He loves Taylor Swift. That’s his type.”

Still, a romance didn’t form right away. Bunnie was in an unhealthy relationship, she continued, and Jelly Roll was doing his own thing. But in October 2015, they reconnected. And as Bunnie put it, she was “just smitten.”

After her ex went to prison, she added, she told a friend to give Jelly Roll her phone number. Bunnie said the musician would call and text her for advice on his daughter Bailee from a previous relationship.

However, Bunnie noted her bond with Jelly Roll shifted from platonic to romantic in July 2016 when he returned to Vegas to film some videos and they slept together.

“We’re like s–t-faced drunk,” she remembered. “I’m trying to get it up, get it in, get it on and get it out, and this guy was like, ‘What’s your five-year plan?'”

So, they discussed their goals, and Bunnie recalled Jelly Roll saying, “OK, cool. Let’s do it.”

LeBron James Gives Update On Where He Stands w/ Drake Following Rumored Fallout: We’re ‘In Different Places Right Now’

The door might be cracked instead of fully closed on #LeBronJames’ former friendship with Drake.

Speaking with Complex’s #SpeedyMorman, LeBron said he’ll always have love for the Toronto rapper and wishes him the best, but they’re just “in different places right now.” This update follows strong speculation that the two are no longer close.

Their rumored fallout followed Drake’s viral rap battle with #KendrickLamar. In July, Drake even appeared to take some shots at LeBron in “Fighting Irish Freestyle” and “What Did I Miss.”

Do you think there’s a chance they’ll reunite?

bitchy | King Charles is ‘thrilled’ about the Trump visit & ‘very pleased with the global optics’

It’s interesting reading the differences between the British coverage and American coverage of the Trumps’ state visit to the UK. The British political media is mostly happy that it’s over and they seem unsettled by how the Windsors ingratiated themselves so thoroughly with the Trumps. The American coverage is more like “well, Trump wants nothing more than to be a despotic king, so he was really impressed with the dumbass carriage ride, I guess.” Everyone’s pointing out that the Trumps were localized, almost entirely, inside and around Windsor Castle. They really didn’t want the Trumps to interact with any of the locals. Meanwhile, the royalists are trying to make it sound like a good thing that Trump is such a huge fan of Prince William, Kate and King Charles. “Nazi-approved” is such a weird flex for British royalty, you know? From Vanity Fair:

The inclusion of Prince William and Princess Kate at such a high level during Trump’s state visit has been “unusual,” according to royal watchers, with both the Prince and Princess of Wales taking on more high-profile roles. As well as greeting President Trump and the first lady at Windsor, which is standard for state visits, William and Catherine were invited to have a private meeting with the Trumps which a Kensington Palace aide described as “warm and friendly.”

“It seems as though Trump has an eye on the future generation,” says Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty magazine. “He’s obviously genuinely impressed by William and who wouldn’t be impressed by Kate. She looked incredible. It seems a lot of effort has been made for the Trumps and the Waleses to spend some time together on this trip.”

“I would expect that William and Catherine would have been quite touched and maybe a bit taken aback by so many compliments,” adds Seward. “It’s very flattering to have someone as powerful as Trump praising you and treating you like a very special friend. It’s unusual for the Head of State to be that personal, but it’s Trump’s style. The royals have to deal with so many dullards, Trump is actually really refreshing. He’s outspoken and quite exciting to be around because you don’t know what’s going to happen. Catherine looked quite taken aback when he praised her so personally. She looked a bit embarrassed, but that’s Trump. I think the royals are probably amused and bemused by it all.”

During Wednesday’s dinner in Windsor, Trump made a point about being the only US president in history to be granted the privilege of two state visits and joked about hoping he would be the only one to make King Charles laugh.

A source close to the king told Vanity Fair that Charles has said the state visit “could not be better.” Adds the source, “I understand that His Majesty the King is thrilled about the visit and very pleased with the global optics of it all. The Royal Family really did pull out all the stops.”

[From Vanity Fair]

“The Royal Family really did pull out all the stops” – again, they didn’t have much of a choice. Charles HAD to do all of this, he was outmaneuvered by Keir Starmer and Trump himself. Charles had to roll out the red carpet and entertain a decrepit old white supremacist with shiny objects. The only real choices made for this state visit were about Prince William and Kate. Kate especially didn’t have to be featured so prominently, she didn’t have to agree to sit next to Trump at the banquet (that should have been a job for Camilla), she didn’t have to agree to a solo event with Melania. Choices were also made to push William and Kate aside, especially at the welcoming ceremony, when the Waleses were literally shooed away and kicked off the dais. So… yeah, some interesting things of note happened for hardcore royal-watchers, but the broad strokes of the state visit are that it was “successful” on both sides of the Atlantic.

Lil’ Kim’s Daughter Turns Heads At Macy’s NYFW Show

Royal Reign completely owned the Macy’s runway during New York Fashion Week. Instagram user @mickmicknyc shared clips of her strutting down the stage, and her walk proved that she’s definitely her mom’s mini-me. Royal looked gorgeous in a purple Jumpman dress and Panda dunks. Lil’ Kim was seated front too, making sure to catch her baby girl’s big moment. Ice T and Coco caught the show too as their daughter, Chanel made an appearance on the runway. Royal’s hair and makeup were on point for the show; she rocked her curls half up, half down. She even had a cute twinning moment with Kim, who styled her straight hair the same way.

More Details About Royal Reign

Royal might’ve just touched the NYFW runway, but she’s been a star. Since 2023, she’s been pulling up to fashion shows with her mom. PEOPLE even clocked her hitting red carpets. In 2019, she adorably posed on the BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet with Kim. She also served as Kim’s date at VH1’s 2016 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens. Lil’ Kim and then-partner Mr. Papers, formerly known as Jeremy Neil, welcomed Royal in 2014. At 11 years old, Royal Reign still holds the title as Kim’s one and only child.

Angela White’s Daughter, Dream Kardashian, Also Had Eyes On Her At NYFW

Angela White’s daughter, Dream Kardashian, also brought that girl energy to NYFW. The reality star was a proud mom as her baby girl stepped onto the runway in front of a packed audience. Dream was in her element too, making sure to flash a smile for her mom as she walked out in a navy blue dress, looking too cute. Take a look below.

Sarah Paulson helped her friend Katherine LaNasa navigate her first Primetime Emmy Awards.

Sarah Paulson helped her friend Katherine LaNasa through her first Primetime Emmy Awards

The 50-year-old actress said her pal gave her the nickname “Emmys coach” after Sarah told Katherine, 58, to stay calm and enjoy the awards bash – which was held at the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California, on September 14.

Sarah told People: “She calls me her Emmys coach because I’ve been really fortunate to have gone and run that gauntlet a couple of times, and I’ve won and I’ve lost.

“I just sort of was trying to remind her of all the things that nobody was there to tell me about, which is to try to breathe and take it all in and enjoy the moment and just try to be where your feet are.”

The American Horror Story actress went on to share that Hollywood legend Jamie Lee Curtis, 66, had previously given her similar advice.

Sarah said of the Freakier Friday actress: “When I was going through a particularly anxious time … [Curtis] said, ‘More will be revealed. Be where your feet are.’ And so I said the same to Katherine.

“[It’s} this beautiful chain of women sharing with other women the things that they’ve learned and helping them sort of move through these very bizarre things that we’re asked to do in terms of Emmy Awards and all that stuff.”

This year’s Primetime Emmys proved to be an unforgettable night for Katherine as she bagged the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series gong for her role as charge nurse Dana Evans in the HBO Max medical drama, The Pitt.

She said in her emotional acceptance speech: “Oh, I am so proud and honoured to receive this award from the Academy.

“My whole career, I wanted to work for John Wells [Executive Producer of The Pitt], and he elevates everything in his wake. John, I’m so much better when you’re around, mostly because I don’t want to get fired.

“Thank you, Scott Gemmill [Executive Producer of The Pitt], the writers and all the nurses that inspired Dana, Noah Wyle [who plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Rabinovitch in The Pitt], oh my God!”

And Katherine closed out her acceptance speech by thanking her family.

She said: “And lastly, my children [son Henry Hopper and daughter Eloise Show], for making me real and my beautiful husband, Grant Show, for helping me always with everything.”

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Plans: What to Know

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Plans: What to Know

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Family is everything to Taylor and Travis, so the VIPs automatically include their respective parents and brothers. Presumable best man Jason Kelce also shares at least two flower girl-age daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, with wife Kylie Kelce—though depending on when the big day is, little sister Bennett could grow into the role as well. (Alas, baby Finnley will probably have to sleep this one out.)

We’ll see which of Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs teammates make the cut, but he was a groomsman at QB Patrick Mahomes‘ 2022 wedding to Brittany Mahomes, so at the very least one boy from the football team should be there. He also has a loyal coterie of pals he’s been cultivating since his Cleveland Heights days, so that golf-and-beer-centric bachelor party is gonna be lit.

As for the bride, childhood bestie Abigail Anderson has remained a mainstay in Taylor’s life. And, while her famed squad has evolved over the years, Selena Gomez is still in the inner sourdough-gifting circle, as are Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, despite rumors they’ve fallen out amid the actress’ legal battle.

Not to mention, speaking of potential flower girls, Taylor is godmother to Blake and Ryan’s daughters.
