Bollywood couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra became parents to a baby girl on July 15, and the new dad is already getting candid about the experience. In the upcoming episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, Sidharth opened up about how his and Kiara’s lives have changed since their daughter’s arrival.
Sidharth revealed that his entire schedule has been upended by the new addition to the family. “Arey pura schedule change ho gaya, abhi main waheen se aa raha hoon subeh subeh. Chahe woh khaane peene ka dhyaan ho, unke sleeping pattern ho, aaj kal raat ko late nights chal rahi hai par alag kisam ki! Teen chaar baje feeding ho raha (Our schedule has completely changed. I just came from there this morning. Be it taking care of her food or her sleeping, these days we’re awake at night a lot for a different reason. She’s getting fed at 3-4 AM),” he shared.
Diaper Duties and “Oops Moments”
While he admitted to a schedule change, Sidharth humbly referred to himself as a “supporting actor” compared to Kiara. “Main toh abhi supporting actor play kar raha hoon, jo sirf wahan pe khade hoke dekh raha hai (I am just the supporting actor who watches everything for now),” he said.
When asked by Archana Puran Singh if he helps with diaper duties, Sidharth confirmed that he has not only changed diapers but has also experienced the “oops moment” when there was no diaper on.
Sidharth appeared on the show to promote his upcoming film, Param Sundari, which is set to be released on August 29. The episode, which also features Janhvi Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and others, will be available for streaming on Netflix on August 30.
