Now, the two actors are set to reunite on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show, Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle. A leaked promo of the upcoming episode has given fans a glimpse of the duo’s lively banter and engaging conversation.

The promo opens with Kajol and Twinkle introducing Akshay and Saif as “Khiladi and Anari”, a nod to their hit 1990s film Main Khiladi Tu Anari. The actors then recreate the iconic hook step from the movie, much to the audience’s delight. Akshay, in his trademark humorous style, quips, “In my opinion, the show should be named Two Cheetahs.” The clip also shows Saif bursting into laughter as Twinkle and Akshay jokingly argue over who first claimed, “An astrologer predicted their marriage.”

The episode promises more than just light-hearted fun. Akshay and Saif also share their thoughts on marriage, with Akshay remarking, “Every husband should be a good listener.” Saif amusingly adds, “Or at least look like a good listener.” The tone shifts briefly when Saif recalls a frightening incident: “I had been stabbed in the leg and there was blood everywhere. I remember Taimur looking up to me and asking, ‘Are you going to die?’ I said, no, I don’t think so.” Kajol responded emotionally, hugging Saif and calling him a “real hero.”

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt made a frank visit on the second episode of Amazon Prime’s chat show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle. In an open chat with hosts Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, 32-year-old Alia shared about her postpartum experience after giving birth to her daughter, Raha, in November 2022.

Alia disclosed that she put on a lot of weight when she was pregnant, as is the case for many new mothers. But she also disclosed that her body lost the excess kilos much quicker than anticipated. “Post-delivery, after giving birth to Raha, actually I gained quite a lot of weight. I was lactating, and lactation burns a lot of calories, and I was also consuming clean.”. So I lost a lot of the weight really fast,” she explained.

Breastfeeding, which is known to speed up calorie burning, contributed heavily to her weight loss. Coupled with a healthy and clean diet, Alia’s body underwent natural change to the new regime. But her rapid change after pregnancy was not ignored or uncriticized.

Alia addressed the trolling she encountered online after her photo went viral, in which she was pictured with her clearly skinnier body. Far from being showered with compliments or merely left undisturbed, she was subjected to unnecessary suspicion and criticism. “I recall there was this picture that came out and they were like ‘Oh my god,’ there were trolls, claiming she has done this through unnatural process.”. ‘Why did she lose weight so fast? It’s okay, relax, Alia.’ This I saw and I was like ‘Oh no, things happened this way naturally.’

She complained about being judged for something she could not control, stating that each woman’s postpartum recovery process is unique. The actress clarified that although others might take a while to get their pre-pregnancy figures back, others such as herself might make the transition faster because of personal reasons.

Speaking with BBC Asian Network, Varun said, “Today, there can be so much manipulation and botting and fake trends, and there have been a couple against Sunny Sanskari as well, which are just bots against the film for no reason. After a time if it gets too much, you can just name the person, but we don’t want to because it’s someone else’s insecurity that is showing.”

Janhvi nodded in agreement when Varun spoke about the fake trends against their film, and added, “What is sad is that I think within the industry, there’s always clarity that you can see what is bought and what is fake, but the general public believes. It takes one second to start a negative trend or campaign, and it is unfortunate that negativity does carry more than positivity.” Varun also agreed that the audience does not always spot what is fake and what is organic on social media when it comes to trends about films.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan, got mixed reviews from critics, with some praise for the humour and performance, but criticism for the film’s pacing and overall impact. The film opened to ₹9.25 crore net in India on Dussehra, which is higher than some recent Bollywood romcoms, but a letdown considering the film’s festive release. However, the fact that Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has competition from the pan-India film Kantara Chapter 1 is also affecting its collections at the box office.

The last year saw a turning point for the Laila Majnu alum. Triptii played full-fledged leading roles, seamlessly shifting from supporting roles to playing top commercial projects. She was the key female presence between Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in Bad Newz, added hot sparks opposite Rajkummar Rao in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, and is next going to be seen sharing screen space with Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Parveen Babi is still one of Bollywood’s most mysterious and iconic stars. A superstar of the 1970s and ’80s, she epitomized her era’s Westernized, glamorous image a far cry from the bourgeois representation of women in Hindi cinema during that period. Her formidable screen presence, along with performances in such classics as Deewaar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Shaan, Namak Halaal, and Kaala Patthar, created a space that was all her own.
