Billie Eilish calls out ‘pathetic’ Elon Musk for not donating vast fortune – National

Billie Eilish had some choice words for tech billionaire Elon Musk.

Earlier this month, Musk, 54, won a shareholder vote that would give the Tesla CEO stock worth US$1 trillion if he hits certain performance targets over the next decade. More than 75 per cent of voters approved the plan as shareholders gathered for the annual meeting.

Following the reports, Eilish, 23, took to her Instagram stories on Nov. 13 and referred to Musk, who is already the richest person in the world, as a “f—ing pathetic p—- b—- coward.”

The Ocean Eyes singer shared infographics originally posted by My Voice, My Choice suggesting what Musk could do to help global crises with his vast fortune.

“Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire here’s what he could do with it,” the first photo read.

The next slides suggested ways that Musk could help assist the world, including “end world hunger” and “choose to spend $40 billion every year to end world hunger by 2030 or provide universal safe clean water for $140 billion for the planet for the next seven years.”

The following slide said that Musk could “save all 10,443 Critically Endangered species” by paying “$1-2 billion annually to bring all of them down to Endangered status.”

The last slide suggested that Musk could pay $53.2 billion to “rebuild Gaza and the occupied West Bank according to the EU.”

“Although the UN predicts this could be upwards of $70 billion for Gaza alone. If he wanted to spread the wealth, and aid further, he could also rebuild Ukraine and Syria at a cost of $793.2 billion,” the post read.

Eilish’s criticism of Musk comes weeks after she suggested billionaires need to donate more when she accepted the music award at this year’s WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards in October.

“We’re in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark and people need empathy and help more than, kind of, ever, especially in our country,” Eilish said to an audience that included Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, as well as Star Wars creator George Lucas.

“I’d say if you have money, it would be great to use it for good things, maybe give it to some people that need it,” she added.

Late-night host Stephen Colbert introduced Eilish on stage at New York’s Museum of Modern Art by announcing that she would donate $11.5 million of the proceeds from her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to causes dedicated to food equity, climate justice and reducing carbon pollution.

In accepting the award, the Bad Guy singer added a polite-but-direct call to others in the room, saying that a lot of people, especially in the U.S., could use some help right now.

“Love you all, but there’s a few people in here who have a lot more money than me,” she said, as the room erupted in applause. “And if you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? And no hate, but give your money away, shorties.”

Billie Eilish calls out “fucking pathetic” Elon Musk for hoarding wealth as Tesla CEO nears trillionaire status

Billie Eilish has called out Elon Musk as he nears trillionaire status.

Reports indicate that Musk – Tesla CEO and ally of US President Donald Trump – is on the fast track to become the world’s first trillionaire as the tech company has approved a landmark pay package that would entitle the mogul to nearly $1trillion worth of Tesla stock if he delivers on specific performance goals over the next decade.

Following the reports, Billie Eilish has taken to her Instagram stories to share infographics on what Musk – who was already the world’s richest man even before the pay package was approved – could do to help global crises with his wealth.

With that money, per the infographics she shared, Elon Musk could end world hunger, save endangered species and rebuild Gaza, which has been largely destroyed due to the ongoing Gaza-Israel conflict.

After sharing the infographics, Eillish wrote, calling him out: “Fucking pathetic pussy bitch coward”

The fiery call out comes just two weeks after she called out several billionaires to their faces last last month. The singer was present at the Wall Street Journal 2025 Innovator Awards, where she was awarded the Music Innovator award.

For her acceptance speech, Eilish turned her attention to the multiple billionaires in the room – including Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg: “We’re in a time right now where the world is really really bad and really dark, and people need empathy and help more than ever, especially in our country. If you have money it would be great to use it for good things and maybe give it to some people that need it.”

“I love you all but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me… and if you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?” she questioned, before saying: “Give your money away, shorties”.

That night, it was announced by chat show host Stephen Colbert that the singer will be donating $11.5million (£8.7million) from her ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft Tour’ to charities for both food equity and the climate crisis.

This isn’t the first time that Eilish has used her platform to push for change. Previously she joined forces with non-profit organisation Reverb to help make her live performances more sustainable. At venues including The O2 in London, the two of them established ‘Eco Villages’ to provide education for fans about reducing their carbon footprint.

The singer also implemented a vegan food policy at various tour stops in the trek – requiring vendors on site to only sell plant-based options during her time playing at the venue.

In other Billie Eilish news, the ‘Ocean Eyes’ hitmaker recently spoke to Wall Street Journal in a new feature, and revealed that she pushed back against including the hit track ‘Birds Of A Feather’ on her celebrated 2024 album because she thought it was “stupid”.

Since it was shared, the song has gone on to become one of Eilish’s biggest hits, and was crowned as Spotify’s most-streamed song of 2024, with over 1.77billion streams.

NME gave ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ a four star review which read: “Billie came into this process with aspirations to find herself, creatively and personally: ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ remains distinctly unique, a portrait of a singular talent entering young adulthood, exploring her queerness and experiencing the emotional thrill and (sometimes) catastrophe of chasing passion or falling in love.

“In trying to write an album for herself, she’s made one that will resonate harder than anything she’s done before.”

Young Miko on ‘Do Not Disturb,” Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, And More

by jummy84 November 8, 2025
written by jummy84

O
ne of the first people Young Miko ever showed her music to was her best friend, Mariana López Crespo. The two of them had been at a small bar in Puerto Rico years ago when Young Miko — who was a tattoo artist back then — shared how badly she wanted to be an artist.

“She was like, ‘Do you have anything on you?’” Young Miko recalls, remembering how she handed her friend a pair of headphones and played her earliest songs. “She was like ‘This is dope! You should take this seriously.’” Right then and there, they decided that López Crespo would be her manager. As they left the bar, they drove past El Choli, the famed arena in Puerto Rico that everyone from Marc Anthony to Bad Bunny has played. “We were both looking at it and I remember just being like, ‘Could you imagine if we do that one day?’ And she was like ‘I know you will.’”

Her manager was right — and now, almost seven years since she began dropping music, Miko announced that her dream is coming true and she’s headlining El Choli in December. “I get emotional just thinking about it,” she tells Rolling Stone on a recent call. The show will cap off a giant year that has included opening for Billie Eilish’s tour and dropping her second album. The LP, titled Do Not Disturb, came out on Friday, just one day before her 28th birthday.

Do Not Disturb is a step-up for Miko that plays with early 2000s inspirations, hotel imagery, and even a surprise Lil Jon cameo. In a long-ranging conversation with Rolling Stone, Miko shared how the album came together during a difficult time, what she’s learned from Eilish’s tour, and why she can’t wait to play that long-awaited show at El Choli.

You’re currently on tour opening for Billie Eilish. What’s that been like and how have the shows been going?
The tour has been super fun. Billie really, truly has amazing fans. They’ve made it a point to make sure I have fun when I’m out there, because I know that most of them don’t speak any Spanish, but I feel like they’ve been doing their homework, and they’ve been dancing and just having a blast with me before her set. I’ve had the greatest time up there. Plus, it’s so special and an honor to be able to share the same stage as her.

Editor’s picks

What’s the chemistry like between you and Billie?
She’s really sweet. She’s really funny, she’s easy to talk to. She’s been busy on this tour so I haven’t really spent a lot of time with her, but I have watched her shows and she always takes the time at the end of the show to make a special shout out [for us]. Her team is really special. And you can tell she’s having a blast as well on tour. She loves being on stage. She makes her fans laugh all the time. She’s hilarious.

What was your relationship to her music before? Do you have favorite songs of hers that you’re enjoying seeing her do live?
100 percent. I’d been listening to her music because I have a younger brother that’s a huge fan of hers, and I have close friends that are huge fans of hers. So even if I didn’t open up my phone and look up her album, it was always playing around me.

When I knew we were going to be on this tour, I had already heard Hit Me Hard and Soft and I loved it. I’ve been listening to her album again and it got stuck again on my rotation. I’ve watched about three or four nights over, almost every night I’ve performed, and every single night, it’s super special. You can tell she has a different connection to each crowd she’s in front of and she’s just super talented. She sounds just as good when she’s live. It’s been such a fun ride. I’m flying my little brother out for the last New York shows and I got him one of the vinyls. He’s super excited.

What was it like to perform songs from Do Not Disturb and give fans that first preview during the tour?
This tour specifically was already sold out when they announced the opener. There wasn’t really a way where people could have been like, “Oh, Young Miko is opening, I’m gonna go!” Her fans were locked in. So I was already thinking, like, “How can I involve my fans and her fans?”  And it’s been really special to see them interact online. They’re becoming like sister fandoms.

Related Content

When it came to songs like “Likey Likey,” I taught the crowd the chorus a bit before I dropped it so they could sing it with me. It’s such an easy chorus because it’s just three kisses, and then you blow a kiss. The crowd was engaged and felt like they were a part of it. And I’ve been seeing more and more Puerto Rican flags in the crowd. I’m leaving with at least 10 new friends from every show.

Why do you think the fandoms get along so well?
Both are really young fandoms. And I think Billie and I maybe have a similar clothing aesthetic or a similar vibe to each other. And I just feel that they’ve been relating to one another. Her fans are super, super engaged with her. My fans are really engaged with me.

How are you feeling about your album Do Not Disturb dropping?
It’s a pretty introspective project and it was a really big growth process for me personally and obviously artistically. So I’m just excited for the fans to have even more pieces of me where they get to know me. My friends always say I’m like a Pandora’s box. There’s layers and you never know what you’re going to get. This album is no exception.

When we were creating the album, I was in a weird place. I didn’t really know where I was standing emotionally and creatively. I didn’t really understand what I wanted to do next with my music and, frankly, as a human. When we were talking about the title, I really felt like I needed it to be short and sweet and to be able to encapsulate everything in that moment. Frankly, Do Not Disturb was what I did: I was putting the world on mute. I was tuning out opinions and commentaries and putting outside expectations on mute and choosing myself or over anything. Before, I wasn’t listening to myself, I wasn’t taking my time with myself, I wasn’t being patient with my heart and my mental state at the time. And once we came up with the “do not disturb” phrase, everything sort of fell into place.

You had massive breakthroughs and become a star. But what was it leading up to this album that made you tune everything else out?
There were a lot of things in play that were affecting how I was feeling. I had just dropped att. and then we had done Coachella. We were talking about the tour, and the album was coming out, and it was a pretty hectic time. We did a lot of touring. I spent about six months away from Puerto Rico, the longest I had ever been outside of the island. I was away from my parents, and it was just a really full workload. I started realizing that I was moving on autopilot, and I feel like I was moving away from myself a little bit. And I started to realize that there was all this noise in my head, and I wasn’t really resting.

I wasn’t enjoying my tour. I wasn’t enjoying the moment I was in. I was living in the future and what I wanted to do next. And I wasn’t appreciating the now that I had worked so hard for. So we put a lot of other things on mute, and on hold, and that’s where the process started. My hair started to fall out and my body was talking to me. You know, I don’t want to be an artist that’s just big at the moment. And it’s funny, sometimes people ask me if I think I’ve reached my peak, and I think a peak is up to you. You can reach a peak every day. It depends on how you’re feeling. It could be artistically or personally. And there’s some ways that I always try to carry with me. What did I do today to make me feel like I’ve reached a peak? So it was lucky that I could put some things on hold, and it’s only when I did that that the album began to come out.

I feel like what you’re talking about is so important. Many artists struggle with the expectations put on them, especially during a breakthrough where it feels like they need to take advantage of the moment.
It’s almost a paradox, you know? It is important, especially when you’re an artist who cares so much and you’re aware that you have great momentum and you want to keep it going. It’s easy to let other people’s thoughts and comments get to you. So it’s confusing and I really try to protect myself from things like that. I want to be here for a long time, but I also want to feel healthy. I want to be happy with who I am and I want to stay true to myself. And at the end of the day, staying true to myself was probably the main reason why people even started to connect with me and resonate with me. And so I never want to let that go.

Are there other artists or people that you talked to during this time who helped?
Yeah, definitely. Other than my friends, I do talk to other artists. Villano Antillano, I’ve called her on FaceTime randomly.  And she’s such a smart and intelligent woman and she’s so well-educated and she’s been through so much and she always kind of knows what to tell me. Kany Garcia, Elena Rose is also somebody I enjoy talking to as well. I’m lucky to have met artists that feel like friends.

What did you learn about putting the world on “do not disturb” mode?
The moment we started to feel more connected and relaxed, the songs started coming out one after the other. I just needed to be in a place where I could calm down and think through what I wanted to say. It was almost a retreat. I hold a lot of unspoken emotion and it’s really hard for me at times to just simply talk about what I’m feeling, whether it’s something happy or something not so happy. And sometimes I have to push myself to talk because then you feel like you’re going to blow up. You get a traffic jam in your head and then just nothing comes out, nothing gets through, and you feel clustered and cloudy. I say my brain feels like spaghetti. But once I was able to open up, the writing became easier. The moment you start to talk about something that’s true to you. It just bursts out because you’re not faking it.

You have Lil Jon on “Wassup.” How did you get him on the track?
My producer Mauro and I were just goofing around the studio, and he had this MIDI player, and he started playing “Lollipop.” Then we just started working based off that. When we were finishing up, he was the one with these intrusive thoughts and started imitating Lil Jon. He was going “It’s Mauro and Baby Miko!” And my manager was in the studio and she said, “Why don’t we get the actual Lil Jon?” And we were like, “We won’t lose anything by trying!” Within two days, he’d already sent some stems. And Mauro was texting me like, “I’m in a group chat with Lil Jon. What the fuck?” He was so fun to work with, and he even sent extra ad libs and things that we used in the song. Honestly, we have a bunch and we even talked about using outtakes in another song.

Were you a big fan of 2000s hip hop?
Yes, very much. I grew up with an older brother, and I had this older cousin who was my neighbor, and he was really into Biggie, Mobb Deep, Tupac, and Nas and these iconic hip hop artists. When I started listening to these artists I started to discover other artists like that. And at that time, the Black-Eyed Peas were popping back then, Gwen Stefani, Fergie had dropped her album. I discovered Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and Lauryn Hill. My parents used to love Lauryn Hill and the Fugees. When you listen to my music, you can tell that there’s a really big influence from that era.

One big theme on the album is also hotels. How did that side of the album come together?
As soon as we landed on the title Do Not Disturb, the first thing that came to my head were those hotel door signs you put on your door, and it just made all the sense in the world. I usually spend more time in hotels than I do in my own house, and we thought it would be such a cool visual aesthetic to give to the project. We played with elevator noise transitions and sounds. Mauro is big on sound design, and there’s a song where if you listen closely, you can hear somebody knocking on the door and saying, “Housekeeping!”  At the end of one song, you hear a shower. It just felt like hotels carry so much ear candy that I thought it would be such great material to play with. That also makes it a paradox because I’m claiming privacy in a space that’s likely not mine.

How has this album changed your creative process?
That’s a good question. On att., I had a very clear idea of things I wanted to talk about and the visual identity. This album was totally different. I let it build itself. It definitely did feel like I was writing in a new way. And I really take my time with my music. Maybe I’ll write an intro or a chorus today and I’ll be like, “Just leave it there, let it marinate, let me listen to it next week,” and then I’ll write the verse a week later. Sometimes, honest to God, there are  seven different versions of certain verses, different choruses, everything. And I didn’t stop until I was like, “Okay, this is the one. This is the one that’s giving me butterflies. “Sexo de Moteles” was one that had a bunch of different versions. I’ll walk out of the studio and be like “This is fire!” And then two days later, I’ll call Mauro and be like, “Yo, let’s change this verse.”

The only collaboration is with Eladio Carrion. How did that happen?
That one was like a puzzle. We got to go to the studio together, and we started building the back and forth. He’s so good at wordplay and freestyling, and anytime I asked him, “Could you record this little detail,” he’s like, “Bet!”

With this one, it was such an introspective project that I was just trying to capture where it was emotionally. I was just in my little world. I wasn’t really chasing features or collaborations and a lot you just like happens organically. Eladio just made sense on the album.

You’ve done other unexpected collaborations recently, like appearing on Katseye’s “Gabriela” remix.
I enjoy collaborating a lot, but I don’t think about them that much. If I just enjoy the song or like I’m a fan of this artist, then I’m definitely  doing it. If somebody sends the song over, and I can’t get it out of my head, I’m in. For “Gabriela” as one example, I’m such a big fan of Katseye. They’re so cool and I already had the song stuck in my head so when the minute they invited me to hop on it, I was like, “Yes!”

You’re performing at El Choli in December. This was a big dream for you, even when you were a tattoo artist. How are you feeling about it?
I’m thinking about this 25/8. It’s all I think about right now. I’m just overwhelmed with joy. And my family, they’re so excited for me I can’t even begin to comprehend the fact that it’s already out there, that this is happening. The first night is sold out. It’s so surreal. So we’re just prepping and having fun while we’re remembering that this has been such a huge dream for such a long time and it’s amazing to put my name down with all those other artists who have performed at El Choli.

Do you still tattoo for fun?
No, but recently I’ve been thinking about it more than usual because I have my old tattoo gun at home. I was thinking about just tattooing my friends for fun. They would pass out, from excitement if I were to just randomly be like, “Hey you guys! Look what I got!”

What’s the secret to a good tattoo?
It depends on the person. I love every single tattoo I have. I don’t regret a single one. They make me feel like an anime character, you know?

Did you have a signature style as a tattoo artist?
I used to do a lot of Japanese and Greek mythology tattoos, and I was doing them in single-needle styles. It kind of looks like dots, everything black and gray. I didn’t really play around a lot with color, unless a client came up to me and was like, “I want this full color realism rose.” But I did play around with little color details. I had studied drawing in college, so that’s also why tattooing made sense. If I hadn’t made music I would have kept tattooing. I used to really look up to this tattoo artist; he would travel the world, and he would be like, “All right, these next six months, I’m going to be in Japan.” I remember thinking, “Oh my goodness. I want to do that.”

You made a cameo at El Choli, when Bad Bunny brought you out for his residency. He picked you as a Future of Music artist in 2023. What does that mean to you?
It is so special that I got to be part for a historic moment in such a historic place. Being able to be with one of the biggest artists Puerto Rico has ever had in such a special month dedicated only to us is fulfilling to the heart. And being up there with an artist I admire so much and an artist I can also talk to at times and he’s such a sweetheart. I remember reading some comments after my show, like some fans were saying, “Is she okay? She seemed a little off.” And I was just so emotional and trying to contain myself.  To be part of something so special, for the economy of Puerto Rico, the visibility of Puerto Rico, it means a lot. He’s definitely had an amazing year. That’s nothing new. He’s brilliant and he’s so attentive to his people and he’s so passionate about what he does.

You played GovBall during Pride month. What was that moment like, and what does it mean that your LGBTQ fans feel so seen by you?
When I’m onstage, it’s definitely one of those moments when everything is on mute. It’s what I work for, you know? It’s what I dreamt of. I feel it’s where I was born to be. And I’m just unapologetically myself and I have so much fun. Being able to see people come out to a space that feels safe for them and where they feel welcome and just seeing this huge smile from ear to ear and seeing them dancing with me, it fills my heart.

The world is in such a weird place right now, and there’s not a lot of safe spaces in the world right now. And being able to offer a little bubble for like an hour, it is truly a blessing. The world needs a little love now more than ever, and hope. And I’m happy that’s something I can at least offer fans when they come to see me.

Billie Eilish’s Concert at UBS Arena in New York: 5 Best Moments

The pop star was at the top of her game, performing tracks from all three of her studio albums.

Billie Eilish performs ay UBS Arena in New York on Saturday night (Oct. 25)

Billie Eilish has been touring for well over a year at this point. She’s probably exhausted — it would be understandable if she was sick and tired of life on the go — but if either of those things were true, the thousands of fans at the UBS Arena in New York on Saturday night (Oct. 25) would never have been able to tell.

The singer — who previously stopped through NYC’s Madison Square Garden in October 2024 — was poised, energetic and appeared to be having the the time of her life on stage, playing the first of two back-to-back shows at the venue on her mammoth Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour supporting last year’s album of the same name. If anything, Eilish’s marathon time on the road since the trek kicked off two Septembers ago has only made her a stronger, sharper performer, with the star commanding her setlist of songs spanning all three of her studio albums, her debut EP Don’t Smile at Me and club-ready Charli xcx collaboration “Guess” with impressive stamina and musicality.

And despite a headline-making instance of an over-aggressive concertgoer forcibly yanking her at a show in Miami, the best part of Saturday’s show was the vulnerable connection and trust Eilish maintains with her fans regardless of the potential dangers. “You’re very precious to me, and I feel the need to protect you always,” she said shortly before performing Oscar-winning Barbie anthem “What Was I Made For?” while holding the hands of front-rowers reaching out to her.

“I just love you so much, and I’ll always fight for you and stand up for you,” she added. “Just know that I got you, and I know you got me.”

Eilish, finally, is now in the final stretch of her HMHAS tour, with the nine-time Grammy winner having just a month left of shows to go before wrapping with two nights at the Chase Center in San Francisco in late November. From impeccable vocal moments to a hilarious looper snafu, check out Billboard‘s roundup of the best moments from her last stop in New York on her finale lap through the United States below.

This certainly isn’t the first time Eilish’s vocal growth has been pointed out, but if there’s anyone left out there who still thinks of her as a quiet, whisper-soft singer, all they need to do is attend one of her concerts to realize how wrong they are. Even from the opening number — Hit Me Hard and Soft‘s “Chihiro” — it was clear that she has completely leveled up in her singing capabilities, with the star beautifully belting freely and often throughout the set. That even included songs where you wouldn’t necessarily expect her to let loose vocally, like on “NDA,” but it only ever elevated the original versions.

Nearly a year and a half after Billboard ranked “Wildflower” the No. 1 song on Hit Me Hard and Soft, Eilish proved that the track is still one of her all-timers with an exquisite and palpably passionate live performance toward the beginning of her set. It also marked one of the loudest instances of fans singing along with her the entire night, with the crowd becoming part of the show by screaming the studio version’s backup vocals in call-and-response form — something that’s become a tradition amongst Eilish’s concertgoers.

Another thing that made the number extra special: the arena holding up their phone flashlights without Eilish even having to ask, surrounding her in a comforting glow as she poured her heart out in some of the most vulnerable lyrics she’s ever written.

One of the coolest moments in Eilish’s show is when she performs “When the Party’s Over” from debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? a cappella, stacking her own harmonies with a looper tool. “Listen, listen,” she instructed the crowd beforehand. “The thing is, it will only work if the entire room is completely silent for, like, one minute. It’s the only time in the whole show that you’ll have to be quiet.”

Despite Eilish’s plea, a fan or two couldn’t help themselves when the arena went silent. “I love you!” they screamed as the singer recorded her first harmony layer, after which other audience members loudly scolded them.

Unfortunately, the rogue “I love you!” did make it into the loop, and as it played again and again while Eilish continued stacking vocals, the crowd — assuming that people were still being unruly and not realizing that it was the same “I love you” being repeated — continued chastising the rule-breakers, which led to even more noise bleeding into the recording. Eilish, however, took it in stride, cracking up a little before giving a “yikes” expression and moving the number along like a pro, extra sound effects included.

Shortly before one of the show’s quieter moments — during which Eilish invites fans to sit down for a spell as she sings moving ballad “Your Power” and accompanies herself on acoustic guitar — the star gave a stirring speech about the importance of connecting with others through live music. “It’s, like, a really dark time in the world,” she began.

“It’s a really scary time, and it’s hard to feel like there’s anything that’s making a difference at all,” Eilish continued. “It feels like we’re all doomed a little bit … but also, I think that it’s really special that we have [this]. I have this feeling of like, ‘Oh, I shouldn’t do shows, maybe, because I feel like there’s more important things in the world,’ or something. Then I think, ‘It’s actually really important that we have things that bring us together and art that we love, and that we have togetherness at all.’”

She went on to share that she feels “really, really grateful and lucky” that she gets to hold concerts at a time when it’s more vital than ever. “I think we all really need it, and we need to be together, and we need to have this glue that keeps us one, you know?” Eilish added. “I hope you feel safe here, and I hope that you feel comfortable to be yourself.”

Eilish’s visuals — which included lasers, horror-movie-esque stills and pyrotechnics — were top tier throughout the one-hour, 45-minute show, but one of the best effects also happened to be the most simple. At different points in the program, the singer carried a handheld camera with her as she walked around and under her stage, giving each individual band and crew member a chance to wave “hi” to the audience as the feed projected live on the big screens.

She also carried the camera as she moved through the pit and performed “Guess” on a B-stage, where Eilish pointed the lens down at the fans below and gave them a rare glimpse at her POV. Without the handheld, the crowd also never would have gotten to see the completely random visitor Eilish had chilling beneath the stage the entire time — a life-size Tinky-Winky Teletubby — whom she filmed while crossing under the risers between “Everything I Wanted” and a mashup of “Lovely,” “Blue” and “Ocean Eyes” on piano. Eh-oh!

Watch Dua Lipa Duet With Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong

The pair performed “Wake Me Up When September Ends” as part of the pop singer’s
Radical Optimism tour over the weekend

Dua Lipa welcomed Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong to the stage at San Francisco’s Chase Center last night to perform the band’s 2004 hit “Wake Me When September Ends.”

“San Francisco, how you feeling?” Lipa told before bringing Armstrong on stage. “Every night we do a different surprise song by a local artist, and I immediately thought about San Francisco and all the incredible music that has come out of here. I thought about one band in particular… Join me in welcoming the incredible Billie Joe from Green Day!”

Last night marked the singer’s second show at Chase Center. On Saturday night, Oct. 11, she paid tribute to another Bay Area artist with a cover of “Piece of My Heart,” originally performed by Big Brother & the Holding Company with Janis Joplin.

Dua Lipa has regularly performed covers during her Radical Optimism tour, sometimes bringing the artists out on stage with her. Last week, she was joined on stage at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum by Gwen Stefani for a rendition of No Doubt classic “Don’t Speak.” “I wanted to dive into one of my personal heroes. One of my favorite artists, and who I grew up listening to my whole life,” Lipa told the crowd. “Someone who’s influenced my music, my style, someone who I love as a performer, and someone who constantly keeps redefining herself and music. I just absolutely love her.”

She later told Rolling Stone, “I’ve loved Gwen my whole life. I’ve found her so inspiring. I’ve loved her music. I love her toughness. I love her voice. I love everything that she stood for. For me, it was a big childhood dream come true.”

There are two more shows left on Dua Lipa’s North American Radical Optimism run, both in Seattle. She will head to South America and Mexico through November and early December. Speaking to Rolling Stone, she confirmed she’s working with Mark Ronson on new music again, but declined to tease the era any further. “I love working with Mark,” she said. “I’m so inspired by him. We work really well together, so I’m really excited.”

Billie Eilish’s Security Breach: Fan’s Violent Behavior Leaves Singer Shaken! | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 12, 2025

Billie Eilish was involved in a harrowing experience while performing at her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour concert in Miami on Thursday evening after being violently pulled down from the stage by a fan. The sensational moment was recorded on several fan videos that have since surfaced online.

In the recently circulating videos, the Grammy-winning singer is spotted smiling and engaging friendly with fans standing by the barricade. However, the friendly encounter became a shocking incident when an overly excited concert fan grabbed Eilish by the arm and pulled her with force towards the metal barrier. The sudden pull disbalanced the 23-year-old singer, who fell hard onto the ground.

Security jumped in immediately, dragging the person away and helping Eilish to her feet. Clearly shaken herself, she tossed her hair over her shoulder, looked visibly distraught, and walked away from the barricade without continued interaction.

The act has elicited broad online outrage. Fans were outraged by the fan’s behavior as “disgusting” and “wholly unacceptable.” One user said on X (formerly Twitter), “Some of y’all forget these are real people, not zoo exhibits.” Another said, “She looks so done. I wouldn’t blame her if she never did barricade greetings again.”

Others demanded severe repercussions. “That man needs to be in jail,” a fan posted. “Ban them from any show,” said another. Many also expressed distress over the increasing practice of safety violations on live performances.

Eilish still has upcoming performances at the Kaseya Center on Saturday and Sunday, although it remains uncertain if she will resume close contact with fans.

This accident contributes to an alarming trend, with performers such as Bebe Rexha, Harry Styles, and Kelsea Ballerini having each faced the same onstage safety hazards, sparking renewed dire debates about boosting concert security for performers.

Finneas is about to get everything he wanted.

The music producer, who frequently collaborates with his sister Billie Eilish, is engaged to his longtime love Claudia Sulewski after seven years of dating.

In a joint post on Instagram Sept. 24, the couple—who met on a dating app in 2018—shared photos from the hilltop proposal, including a selfie of the two celebrating the milestone as the bride-to-be used her hand to cover a giggle while flashing her new cushion-cut diamond ring.

Elsewhere in the carousel, the pair shared a clip of the scenic helicopter ride to their destination, as well as a video of Finneas getting down on one knee to pop the big question.

Claudia, 29, confirmed in her caption that the proposal took place two days before she shared the news, writing, “forever and ever 9.22.”

And the date appears to hold special significance for the twosome. Three years earlier to the day, Finneas, 28, shared an anniversary post reflecting on his relationship with the YouTuber up to that point.

Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish enjoy Oasis reunion tour in LA

Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish were among those attending the Oasis reunion tour stop in Los Angeles this weekend.

The North American leg of the Oasis Live ‘25 tour rolled into the Rose Bowl Stadium for the first of two sold-out shows last night (September 6), with a host of famous faces, including Vince Vaughn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Salma Hayek, Kristen Stewart, Metallica‘s James Hetfield, Finneas, Eilish and McCartney in attendance.

The latter can be seen in clips on social media filming while Noel Gallagher sang ‘Little By Little’, with many noting he was the only one in his section who stood up throughout. In a separate clip, fans approached him as he left the venue and asked what he thought of the show, to which he replied: “Fabulous”.

As far back as 2015, Noel had joked that if McCartney wrote their comeback single, he’d be willing to discuss a reunion. The same year, he walked back comments he made to MTV, where he said Oasis were bigger than The Beatles, which McCartney said was the biggest mistake of their career.

“I thought, ‘So many people have said that, and it’s the kiss of death,‘” he said at the time. “Be bigger than The Beatles, but don’t say it. The minute you say it, everything you do from then on is going to be looked at in the light of that statement.”

Both brothers revere McCartney, with Liam fondly recalling a now infamous interaction they’d had while speaking to NME in 2017.

“I’ve met him a few times he’s been absolutely a dream,” he said. “The last time was at the Royal Albert Hall. He goes, ‘Why are you always in a rush? Sit down, sit down’. I sit down and he goes, ‘Do you like margaritas?’ I said, ‘Yeah, but I had something before I come out, I don’t eat at this time of night’.

“He said, ‘They’re fuckin’ drinks, you stupid prick’. I thought he was offering me a pizza.”

A previous stop on the North American leg took them to New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where they dedicated ‘Live Forever’ to the victims of the Minneapolis church shooting on the first night earlier this week.

Last Wednesday (August 27), a shooter targeted a group of people outside the Church of the Annunciation in Minneapolis before morning mass, killing two children and injuring eighteen others. The perpetrator then killed himself.

Oasis will next play dates in Pasadena and Mexico City before heading back for two extra shows at Wembley Stadium at the end of the month. They go on to play South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil before the end of the year.

NME gave Oasis’ historic first comeback concert at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium a glowing five-star review, writing: “After a ‘90s heyday and an often maligned post-millennium era, this is Oasis redesigned for the 21st Century.”

“Playing before a pop-art-meets-psychedelia visual spectacular that never distracts but will look sick on a phone, they seem the quintessential stadium band playing the greatest hits of greatest hits.”

Noel also spoke recently about the “great” experience of being back on tour with his brother Liam, saying he had forgotten “how funny” he is, adding that he is “smashing it” and he is “proud of him”.
