Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Today, the devil wore Dolce & Gabbana. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana had the celebrity gets of the season: With movie-perfect timing, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci, dressed in character as Miranda Priestly and Nigel Kipling of Runway magazine, swooped in just as everyone else had taken their seats. Newcomer Simone Ashley, whose role in the sequel has not yet been revealed, perched above them in the second row. As the photographers got their shots, Streep peered around the side of a flashing camera and greeted Anna Wintour, the editor in chief of Vogue on whom Priestly is based, who was sitting on the opposite side of the runway. A meta moment if ever there was one.

As for the runway? It was a pajama party—one that picked up where Dolce & Gabbana’s men’s collection, presented in June, left off. At that time, the memo was “a kind of no-fashion fashion…something more individual, more spontaneous.” At the very least, it was a change from the jog bras and exercise leggings that have become so ubiquitous on city streets. And why not? After the men’s show, Dolce reported, they had women customers clamoring for pajamas of their own.

Of course, these were no ordinary striped cotton pajamas. In signature D&G fashion, the designers embroidered them with tiny bouquets of flowers or clusters of crystals and layered them over lacy black bras and briefs, sometimes swapping out the pajama bottoms for black cotton hosiery (a callback to a late-1980s show in which Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington walked). Other times they tossed a tailored blazer on top, or a blouson leather bomber, or a shrunken brocade jacket that could have belonged to your grandmama, “like a memory,” Dolce said.

For evening, the designers swapped out striped cotton for black chiffon tops and bottoms and accessorized them with their famously elegant tuxedo jackets. Some of the looks got skyscraper satin sandals, but just as many were paired with fuzzy slippers. “This new generation,” Dolce commented, “they don’t dress with too much styling. They’re much more relaxed.” If we see Ashley’s DWP2 character turning up at Runway in her pj’s, we’ll know where she got the idea.

Meryl Streep Appears to Attend a Very Real Fashion Show as Miranda Priestly

No one could ever forget Meryl Streep played the uncompromising Miranda Priestly, editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine Runway in The Devil Wears Prada.

Emblem of a generation, the 2006 comedy directed by David Frankel is now getting a highly anticipated sequel, with many paparazzi images raining down on social media over the summer. While the new film is not expected to see the light of day until next spring, its stars have been having fun making a few nods to it during their public appearances.

The latest example occurred during the Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2026 show held during Milan Fashion Week. In Vogue’s video from the show, Streep and her costar Stanley Tucci practically re-enacted a scene fromThe Devil Wears Prada in the front row.

Accompanied by her on-screen sidekick, who was also a guest at the Italian fashion house’s show, Meryl Streep was dressed like a fashion icon, immediately reminding us of the film’s glamorous, if tyrannical, editor-in-chief. Her outfit had everything Miranda Priestly would wear on-screen: a nude patent trench coat—which strongly resembles the one seen during filming in New York—worn closed and belted at the waist, revealing only the bottom of black pants and sober pumps.

As for accessories, Streep’s sunglasses and a leopard-print clutch were enough to elevate the whole look—especially when accompanying a certain hairstyle. Yes, Miranda Priestly’s signature silver mane did not go unnoticed. You can see the video here.

With Tucci by her side, the front row of the Dolce & Gabbana show could easily have been mistaken for a scene from The Devil Wears Prada. But was it? Well, everything suggests that the production has, indeed, made Milan Fashion Week its new stage. Surrounded by her colleague—whose three-piece gray suit and leopard scarf were apparently approved by Nigel himself—and fellow cast member Simone Ashley, Meryl Streep seems to have truly fallen back into character.

Hailey Bieber Wore the Coolest Loafer Trend of Fall 2025

The time has finally come for even L.A. girls to start trading the flip-flops everyone has been wearing for months on end for something a bit more substantial. One of those L.A. girls is Hailey Bieber. While exiting West Hollywood’s favorite lunch spot, Great White, with Justin this week, Bieber was photographed wearing a pair of loafers, and no, they weren’t basic black ones. They were far trendier and very on-brand for 2025. The style was leopard-print loafers, which she paired with a leather bomber jacket, white T-shirt, bike shorts, a baseball cap, and white crew socks.

As I’m sure you’ve heard a million times over, leopard print is poised to be everywhere for a second fall season in a row, and wearing it via a pair of loafers is a polished and slightly unexpected way to embrace the trend. Not only that, Bieber’s loafers completely transformed her casual outfit, giving it a more elevated look than sneakers or the aforementioned flip-flops would.

If you’re inspired by Bieber to add a pair of leopard loafers to your fall wardrobe, you’re in luck because a slew of brands from H&M to Prada are making them right now. Keep scrolling to shop the Hailey Bieber way to wear leopard loafers and shop my personal favorite pairs.
