ArdAzAei Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Bahareh Ardakani is expanding her vocabulary. Now that her brand, ArdAzAei, has established a foothold as one of the newest additions to the Couture calendar, it’s moving into ready-to-wear for spring and, to that end, ramping up e-commerce in the next month or so.

“I’m trying to develop a language that’s all my own, but at the same time one that simplifies couture and makes it more accessible,” the designer said during a visit to her jewel box of a showroom on the Rue Saint-Florentin in Paris. “Couture is such a dream world. It’s a special and unique part of fashion, but my mission is to dress more women for the life they live every day.”

Taking as a starting point last spring’s “Folded Sea” couture outing, Ardakani’s spring collection, entitled “Souvenirs,” drew on her own lifestyle, incorporating knitwear, denim, and shoes for the first time. Body-skimming knits in misty pastels were designed for easy layering: a structured, cropped bralette seemed destined for a younger customer. Among little tops and dresses with pretty peplums and swingy hems, a lilac number with mint-tinged godets neatly checked next season’s trends in color and shape; on the mannequin it was shown slipped underneath a cinched black biker jacket.

Given that she holds degrees in math, engineering, and gemology, it is perhaps no surprise that the designer cuts a smart trouser. This season she brought her eye for line to white GOTS-certified denim flares as well as a ready-to-wear iteration of the Artemesia couture jacket, a softly draped panel construction worn cinched with a wide belt. Thus far, that piece is the brand’s bestseller—proof enough that when Ardakani lets herself relax a little, design-wise, her client follows. A semi-couture top in draped white jersey looked like a signature in the making: exactly the kind of piece that requires ArdAzAei to strike a balance between craftsmanship, its eco-conscious commitments and the accessibility it needs to grow.

Tecovas Cowboy Boots Are A Western Fall Staple

I’m a sucker for suede boots, so I was excited to try new styles. The Annie in suede is very classic, but the new distressed charcoal color is a bit more fresh. The Sadie is also available in suede, and this pair features intricate braiding that I found really beautiful.

Now, onto the boot I couldn’t wear: The Abigail. I generally have to order wide-calf boots for myself, so I was skeptical about trying the brand’s knee-high and over-the-knee styles. While The Annie is offered in wide-calf options, others are not, so I couldn’t quite slip The Abigail all the way up. But pro tip: every Tecovas store offers free boot stretching. I witnessed this service in person when a worker stretched the shaft of a boot up to an extra inch wider. This is a huge perk if you’re able to make it into a store so that your boots fit perfectly.

This Is Why Taylor Swift Isn’t Playing The Super Bowl

It’s official: Bad Bunny will headline the Super Bowl LX halftime show. Not Taylor Swift.

Bad Bunny is certainly no one’s second choice or backup, but it did look for a while as though the NFL and Apple Music/Roc Nation, the companies that produce the event, were going after Swift, and not just because of the easter eggs; NFL CEO Roger Goodell himself called Swift a “maybe,” saying that securing the performer was in Jay-Z’s hands.

So…what happened? Here’s what we know:

What Swift herself says

Basically, she’s not gonna do the Super Bowl while her man is playing in the NFL, it’s just too stressful. “Here’s the thing,” Swift told Jimmy Fallon during a visit to The Tonight Show on October 6, where she spent a segment debunking stories about herself. “Jay-Z has always been very good to me. Our teams are very close. They sometimes will call and say ‘how does she feel about…’ and that’s not an official offer or a conference room conversation. We’re always able to tell him the truth, which is that I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field.”

That’s a wrap on Spring 2026’s creative director shuffle. Nicholas Aburn stepped into the top position at Area, while Louise Trotter (a.k.a. one of the few women helming a luxury house) took the reins at Bottega Veneta. All eyes were on Paris Fashion Week as the fashion capital welcomed a …

Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2026 Show Says Apron Dresses Are Hot

With the S/S 26 Miu Miu show, Miuccia Prada wanted to remind everyone of the reality of life. Specifically, she wanted to call to mind the actuality that hard work is necessary for anything, even beauty, glamour, and fashion. Before seeing the collection or reading the show notes, guests were greeted to a transformed Palais d’léna made to look like the dining facility of a factory with long Formica tables and pink rubberized floors. Aptly, the show notes were titled Work, and the collection was described as “a consideration of the work of women—their challenges, adversity, experience. Its invisibility is confronted and addressed, recognized, and valorized.”

An Ever-Expanding Miu Miu Fan Club

Miu Miu fans have been around since 1993, when Prada created the brand, but sine the viral Miu Miu micro mini there are more tastemakers and celebrities and editors than ever vying for a coveted spot in the brand’s fan club. The Spring 2026 guests included Alexa Chung, Petra Collins, Emma Corrin, Nina Dobrev, Paloma Elsesser, Wonyoung Jang and more.

The Miu Miu Girl Wears Apron Dresses Now

The theme of ‘work’ in the collection came across instantly, as soon as the first model walked down the runway wearing a canvas blue apron. She was followed by models in protective leather aprons and drill pinafores. Sometimes these aprons were accessorized with leather belts with D-rings meant for fastening equipment. It was as if the models were just passing by guests on their way to clock in at a factory.

Later on in the show was a parade of a different kind of apron. They were more domestic and less industrial, with floral patterns and lace details more akin to those preferred by homemakers. They felt familiar, like something you perhaps grew up watching your mom or grandmother or great grandmother wear while she juggled tens of tasks at once and still managed to make you feel loved.

While the apron is often something only seen within the walls of a home or a workshop, Prada saw it as something that deserved to be platformed and considered beautiful. “The apron, as a universal symbol of work, is afforded a nobility and respect,” she wrote. “Cultural meanings of this garment can shift radically according to changes in materialization and form—from domicilary to clinical to industrial, physical labor to care-giving, primary and tertiary industries and the domestic sphere. A single garment containing multitiudes.” And now it’ll likely have it’s next multitude as an ‘It’ item that’s sure to be trending by 2026.

Only Miuccia.Prada Can Bring Back a Statement Necklace and Bandana

Aside from the D-leather belts, the apron dresses were often accessorized with chunky necklaces and bold printed bandanas. The latter are another unofficial part of the factory worker uniform, but when styled with necklaces they were reminiscent of the statement necklace craze of the mid 2010s. They’re often looked back at as a moment of classic millennial twee cringe but if anyone can bring them back, it would be Prada. Plus, twee is set for a comeback any day now, so get your whimsy—and chunky neckwear—ready.

The Reality of Clothes for a Working Life

Something that’s so special about Miu Miu is that Mrs. Prada is able to make the mundane feel worthy of adoration. She transforms items you’ve seen so many times over and thought nothing of and makes them something you suddenly desire. A couple of seasons ago she did this with bags overstuffed with a change of clothing, meant to represent the busy life so many of us live where we’re expected to be many people at once.

That overstuffed bag was maybe once something you’d feel ashamed of wearing but Mrs. P made it something cool; something to be imitated, intentionally. She is always showing us that a busy life is a beautiful one. And Spring 2026 felt like a doubling down on that narrative. Why hide the fact that you work hard instead of quite literally wearing it on your sleeve?
