by jummy84 September 4, 2025
written by jummy84

The secret to never running out of outfit ideas? It’s simpler than you think. Build your wardrobe on a foundation of timeless essentials, and the stress of “nothing to wear” disappears. Just as the season for refreshing our autumn/winter basics arrives, H&M Studio Essentials makes a timely entrance with a line-up of wardrobe heroes designed to do the heavy lifting. Think cashmere knits you’ll want to live in, white shirts that lend instant polish, and turtlenecks that pull together layered looks with ease. These aren’t fleeting fashion buys, but the kind of elevated staples you’ll return to year after year.

The brilliance of this collection is in the balance between familiarity and finesse. We all know the value of a perfect knit or a great white shirt, but H&M Studio refines them with subtle, considered twists—a slouchier cut that feels effortlessly cool, a sharper collar that adds a directional edge, a roll-neck slim enough to layer under tailoring without adding bulk. Each detail ensures these wardrobe basics aren’t just practical, but chic in their own right. Worn together, they create the sort of modern uniform that feels endlessly adaptable, whether you’re heading into the office or styling out a low-key weekend.

H&M Studio Essentials proves that dressing well in autumn isn’t about constant reinvention—it’s about investing in the right foundations so getting dressed becomes the easiest decision you’ll make all day. On the Podcast: Chloe Malle’s Big News! Plus: Sabrina Carpenter’s Hairstylist Evanie Frausto Is Full of Secrets

It’s been a big week for The Run-Through’s very own Chloe Malle, who was appointed American Vogue’s Head of Editorial Content on Tuesday. At the top of today’s episode, she and Chioma reflect on the news and on Chloe’s recent New York Times profile. (Tragically, her dog Lloyd was left on the cutting-room floor.)

British Vogue’s Radhika Seth also pops in to share her standout picks at the 2025 Venice Film Festival so far—from The Voice of Hind Rajab to Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein—and what it’s really like to screen six films in one day (there is sleeping involved). This leads, in time, to a discussion of the group’s favorite red carpet moments, with Chloë Sevigny, Jacob Elordi, and Cate Blanchett all making the best-dressed list!

Later, celebrity hairstylist and wig master Evanie Frausto stops by the podcast studio to chat with beauty editors Arden Fanning Andrews and Kiana Murden. Together, they talk through Evanie’s star-studded roster—from Sabrina Carpenter to Rosalía—and the stories behind some of their most memorable styles (including Sabrina’s DIY bangs). Evanie also shares the differences between working with musicians and actors…and how he dreamed up Lady Gaga’s now-iconic “Die With a Smile” wig.

The Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Relationship Rumors, Explained

by jummy84 September 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Who had Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun relationship rumors on their 2025 Bingo card? Because you may have just won. Let’s dig into these rumors, shall we?

On September 2, People reported that Sweeney, recently in hot water over her American Eagle jeans ad, and Braun, the music mogul perhaps best known for his dispute with Taylor Swift, are “casually hooking up.” An unnamed source told the outlet, “Everything is casual. She is living her life and working hard.” According to E! News, Sweeney and Braun were seen together at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding back in June, and again at Harry’s Bar with other celebs like Karlie Kloss. One source told TMZ that Sweeney and Braun actually met at the Bezos and Sanchez wedding, but this has not been verified elsewhere. Another source told Us Weekly, “[Sweeney is] not exclusively dating anyone right now but is having fun with Scooter.” The only thing everyone seems to agree on is that this is not a serious relationship.

Star first reported on the rumors on August 29, after a TikTok video showing Sweeney and Braun together in Italy for the wedding surfaced online. Before this, however, there had been no whisper of a relationship between Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun.

In May, Sweeney confirmed her split from fiancé Jonathan Davino, which was first reported in March. Sweeney told the Times, “I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it.” Even before the breakup, Sweeney was no stranger to relationship rumors. Thanks in large part to their on-and-off-screen chemistry, she was suspected of having some kind of relationship with her Anyone But You costar Glen Powell, which they both routinely denied.

There has been no denial of the Braun relationship rumors, which means something. But it could mean less than you think.

7 Hair Color Trends You’ll See All Fall 2025, Per Stylists

by jummy84 September 4, 2025
written by jummy84

In my humble opinion, fall is the best time to switch up your hair look. The season as a whole is buzzing with new beginnings, so why not embrace that palpable back-to-school energy with a brand-new ‘do? That doesn’t mean you must commit to an edgy pixie or chic French bob (but if you do take the leap, more power to you!); a simple balayage or set of babylights can give you that “wow” effect without too much maintenance. As for the chicest hues to ask for? I consulted top stylists on the biggest fall 2025 hair color trends—and discovered some rather surprising takes.

“Instead of embracing the traditional ‘pumpkin spice’ color trend this year, hair color across the board will be darker, and we’re going to see more rich and golden neutral tones,” Cassie Cohen, celebrity colorist at Chris McMillan Salon, tells me. (Translation? Bye, copper!) For more info on specific fall shades, scroll on—your new expensive-looking hue lies just ahead.

Rooted Blonde

Rooted blonde, lived-in blonde, “recession” blonde—whatever you call it, know that this low-maintenance hair color is very much here to stay. “[It’s] essentially embracing the grow-out while choosing a hair color to apply at the root for a more seamless-looking growth,” celebrity hairstylist and Schwarzkopf global color expert Jonathan Colombini shares. By applying a different, lived-in color to your roots, your colorist can essentially nip those harsh grow-out lines in the bud.

“Colorist tip: Be sure to only apply color from root to the exact grow-out line of demarcation so as not to cover your blonde entirely,” he advises. “Just before the last five minutes of your processing time, using a fine-toothed comb, flick or drag the hair color no more than a quarter of an inch past grow-out. This technique will reinforce the perfect ‘melt,’ avoiding any harsh roots.”

Move over, copper—bordeaux is hot on your heels. Rich and warm, this deep red hue with brown undertones is a bold yet classy choice for fall, says Colombini. “Deep red conveys confidence, passion, and individuality. In months that feel muted, it provides an energizing, mood-lifting choice,” he adds. “The depth of wine, burgundy, and crimson mirror fall/winter tones in fashion and nature, creating harmony with darker wardrobes and seasonal palettes.” Essentially, bordeaux is poised to become a major fall color trend across categories—fashion, nails, and hair looks included.

No matter your base hair color, Cohen says a smattering of golden highlights will suit you well. “Blondes will feature more dimension through the use of deeper lowlights, richer golden highlights, and a greater incorporation of the hair’s natural root color for added depth and contrast,” she explains. For brunettes, on the other hand, some golden-brown highlights around the face and on the ends of hair will look positively radiant. “Reds will take on more red/brown tones with a dark golden undertone,” she adds. “All of these colors make for ‘expensive-looking’ hair.”

Dark-to-Light Balance

Darker hair colors skyrocket in popularity come fall, “but rather than a dramatic ‘all-or-nothing’ shift, blondes, brunettes, and redheads will embrace a balanced blend of light and dark,” Cohen explains. Think subtle, dark-to-light transitions—aka modern ombré hair—that, according to Cohen, always look expensive. “With this combination, all three hair colors will continue to glisten in the sunlight,” she adds. Bonus points if you use a shine-inducing hair gloss every few washes.
