Jane Wade Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Jane Wade’s obsession with workwear began during her own corporate office experience at Alexander Wang and Danielle Frankel. But while her past two collections were focused on the top of the C-Suite, this season she took it all the way down to ground zero: the blue-collar workers.

To mimic the uniforms of these labor workers, she used a variety of fabrics from denim to cotton. One of the denim convertible skirt sets that could be buttoned at the front to show off as much leg as you wish featured a distressed, worn-in look that came from a lengthy treatment process. The designer wanted to take the process quite literally for that authentic touch and worked with an expert who repeatedly wore and tore the skirt while working it in motor oil and soot. Upon further inspection, you could notice the wear points at the hips on the model that could only come from an item that gets frequent wear.

Backstage at her show, the designer explained that she often feels like she’s a stylist brand. “I could see a stylist customizing my pieces in their own special way,” Wade explained. On the racks, her pieces may seem simple and like everyday items, but her technique level ranges wide. Her button work for one has come down to a science; a denim skirt featured snaps at the mid-thigh level to take it from mini to maxi, and poplin shirting came with button harnesses to accentuate as you wish.

But the collection’s best look wasn’t within the workwear. It was instead a hand-crocheted brass dress (a signature technique of Wade’s), and whether it was intended to be the showstopper or not, it was certainly the audience’s favorite. Presented near the end, it almost reflected that sentiment of a 9-to-5 er’s monotonous work life, that is, until that one exciting moment comes along after hours when the uniform finally comes off.

A Week In Central Wisconsin On A $110,800 Joint Income

Was there an expectation for you to attend higher education? Did you participate in any form of higher education? If yes, how did you pay for it?
Yes. It was always expected that my siblings and I would either go to college or trade school. I attended an in-state university and my parents paid for all my expenses. My husband M. went to the same college, and he paid for his education through scholarships, jobs, and with a little help from his parents.

Growing up, what kind of conversations did you have about money? Did your parent(s) educate you about finances?
My parents had a lot of conversations with my siblings and me about saving money, living frugally, investing, and planning for retirement. My parents really emphasized good money management habits. As soon as I got my first job, I started contributing to my Roth IRA.

What was your first job and why did you get it?
My first job (besides babysitting local families with my sisters) was as a stocker at a supermarket. I got the job to save money; I was 17 and wanted to have some personal savings before going to college. My parents also encouraged me to get the job so I could contribute to a Roth IRA and so that I could gain work experience.

Did you worry about money growing up?
No, I always felt very financially secure.

Do you worry about money now?
No, I think we are in a good place with our finances and I know we live frugally.

At what age did you become financially responsible for yourself and do you have a financial safety net?
M. and I got married a few months after graduating from college, and so I never lived in an apartment alone or had to support myself on my own income. I guess I would say I became financially responsible once I graduated from college, but I lived with my parents until I got married.

Do you or have you ever received passive or inherited income? If yes, please explain.
My parents paid for my college in full and helped me buy my car. M.’s parents helped him with some college expenses and also helped him buy his truck. My grandparents contributed heavily to my Roth IRA (I don’t know the exact amount) once I had earned income as a teenager, and they also gifted me the majority of what is in our stock account over the years. M.’s grandparents have a trust set up for each of their grandchildren, so my husband will receive $200,000 from that at some point, but not until his own parents pass away. So hopefully we are far into retirement before we have access to it.

Katherine LaNasa and Grant Show: Did You Know the Newly Minted Emmy Winner Is Married to the ’90s Hottie?

Katherine LaNasa and Grant Show may be one of the hottest couples on the Emmys 2025 red carpet—and we now must know everything about their longtime romance.

LaNasa, a well-established character actor with a seriously impressive IMDB history, finally got her due at Sunday night’s ceremony with her win for best supporting actress for her role as Dana Evans in The Pitt. Considering she’s been working in Hollywood since the early 1990s and this is her first Emmy nomination and win, she has a lot to celebrate.

But in addition to saying to yourself, “Wait, I loved her in XYZ,” you may have noticed the guy on her arm and done a double take. Yes, if you didn’t know LaNasa is married to Show, who is probably best known as ’90s certified hottie Jake Hanson from Melrose Place.

Grant Show and Katherine LaNasa arrive at The 2025 BAFTA TV Tea Party at The Maybourne Beverly Hills on September 13, 2025 .

If you’re unfamiliar with Show’s character, his Wikipedia page describes Jake as being “known for being a womanizer as he hooked up with nearly every female occupant of Melrose.” Okay, noted!

Here’s some background on Katherine LaNasa and Grant Show that you are probably curious about. The pair got engaged in 2012, with People reporting that LaNasa “is very excited,” and they married just a few weeks later.

They had a daughter, Eloise, in 2014, who joined LaNasa’s older son, Henry Hopper, whom she had with her first husband, actor Dennis Hopper. LaNasa posts some pretty adorable photos of her family on her Instagram on the reg, and it all looks pretty idyllic.

5 Fall Denim Styles For Men and How to Style Each

I’m thrilled to say hello to everyone who’s reading this and to share with you a glimpse into some of the insights I’ve gained through my 15-year career in fashion. I’m a Canadian-born fashion enthusiast and style expert, currently working for luxury retailer Holt Renfrew, which, for those who know, is Canada’s fashion mecca! I’m excited to share with you some exciting stories from my travels and my personal styling tips that I apply to all aspects of my life.

September is one of those months that signals a shift into a new way of dressing. As we hang up our summer staples, we start to think about what we need to buy for the fall season. For me, fall fashion is my favorite time of year. As someone who’s always on the go, I can’t live without a trusty pair of jeans. I don’t think I’m ready to step into the skinny trend once again, but I recently tried on five different fits that will carry me through the next couple of months. I like to have fun with my style while simultaneously looking clean and put together. Below, I’ve shared some of my favorite denim styles out there right now that achieve just that. In addition to my perfectly curated collection of fall denim, I’ve also shared how I am styling each pair. The hope is that these looks will serve as your cheat sheet to easy and stylish fall dressing all season long.

I love fall sweaters. If I’m on set, I like to be comfortable but look put together. Typically, studios are heavily air-conditioned, so I’ll be in cozy, thick sweaters, and I always love a pop of color.
